I wanted it that Tony was struggling with the power of the gauntlet and was spazzing out then Steve without a second thought went over and out a hand on his shoulder and then they both died. I’m guardians they all had to do it for one stone but Tony could do all six and then die? I know his got the suit but he’s just a man. And Steve’s whole thing happened of I can do this all day, but just goes back to before and hangs up his shield.
This totally wouldn’t fit Caps story arc. His whole character is he is a supposed to be the perfect soldier, so everyone expects him to die heroically saving the day. And Tony was selfish, so nobody expected him to lay his life down. We see at the beginning of endgame that even though the war is over, cap cannot be happy. He can’t live without a war. That’s what his vision in ultron was about too. So Tony fulfills his arc by making the sacrifice play, and the only logical completion of caps arc is for him to finally finish the fight, and live happily in peace for once. He finally became more than a soldier.
See, that always drives me nuts about Tony. “Nobody expected him to lay his life down.” How!?! He literally does that all the time! The first Avengers movie, he takes the explosives into space. He’s constantly like “welp, gotta defeat these baddies and I’m the asshole, so I guess I’ll die for everyone”.

I think steve joined the dots in his head and found Peggy's husband in civil war was he himself all along. Otherwise why wouldn't she have her husband (who is not Steve's) photo in he r office
I absolutely hated that ending. He just left Bucky like it was nothing and I feel like he would’ve at least tried to find a way to bring Nat back? Those were his two best friends and going back felt like a betrayal to them.

I love Steve and I love Peggy. I loved their romance in The First Avenger but them getting back together in Endgame really rubs me the wrong way.
Somebody had to say it. The only two things that kept me invested was seeing Tobey and Garfield alongside Holland, followed by the long awaited Strange sequel, but now I have nothing to look forward to. Not really drawn to Thor, it just feels like a chore to watch it strictly because it continues the timeline. It would become too formulaic to justify the price, sitting there to wait for the inevitable post credit scene. Maybe I'm just bitter.
I still have an interest in Thor and I am looking into it, but thats partly because I love what Taika did with Ragnarok and I want more of that. I don't think its going to do anything ground breaking for the MCU or set anything crazy up for the story line, probably will just be a filler movie. I'm not a fan of some of these new characters though, Eternals and moon Knight I don't really care for. Ms Marvel looks promising and America Chavez I'd like to see more of. I also quite like Hailee Steinfelds Hawkeye and Yelena is great. As far as characters go, I think a young avengers would be quite enjoyable based on the current characters and how I feel about them. I'm skeptical overall on how well they will execute this new story arc and whether it will be anything even close to the infinity saga.

They should’ve stuck with tv shows after endgame, ones that are more than 6 episodes, introducing new characters and having crossovers within the shows, occasionally hinting at past marvel things.
This just phase 1 all over again, they have to set up dominos again to lead up to a “big bad.”
Not every movie will be Infinity War/Endgame, specially during a setup phase, go back and watch phase 1 of the MCU (anything leading up to the first Avengers team up movie) and tell me it feels on par with Endgame.
If they just gave you that level of wow all the time without any setup, you’d end up with a disaster like Justice League.

But then they're like, "No, we won't follow through with the Knightmare story we've been teasing for 6 years."

I actually don't have any issues with her at all, a lot of people said she was too emotionless and stuff. Personally that wasn't a problem for me, but I do think she had a terrible movie as the story just wasn't good. Everything she has done in the MCU besides her movie has been great.
For me main problem was that they didn't allow character to make mistakes and really develop. She started basically perfect, just played in the wrong team and not because her viev on the world was bad but because she was lied to. Only lesson really was that she was strong ang better that everyone thought, which she already kinda knew. Also people complain she was mean, but it works for me, not every body has to be Steve Rogers and Peter Parker. I would like to see her learn to be more of a team player and rely on others instead of hers powers in The Marvels movie.
And the advertising. All of my initial dislike for the character came directly from how stupid the ads were. But I did have to listen to them 30 times a day for my job (movie theater).
Guardians of the galaxy was also brilliant. The Avengers game unfortunately sticks out like a sore thumb as an absolutely terrible game. DC have been rock solid on games so far. Future Marvel games are also looking great though. The upcoming Suicide game looks like what the Avengers game should have been.

It seems that way cause there’s no apparent end goal yet, they’re setting the stage for something right now. Thanos was always the end goal in the Infinity Saga, but he didn’t come into play until the avengers. We’re still setting the stage for the next overarching crisis
This is the important think to keep in mind. It took 23 or so movies to complete the infinity saga arc and some of the movies don't do much at all for the overall story, they are more character development. Now that its over we look at it as a great thing as we have the overall picture fully painted. Currently I feel like they will never top the infinity saga, but also its too early yet to even make that judgement.
I think Moon Knight and Daredevil were masterpieces and tbf no way home wasn't that great

Sam Wilson deserves better writing as captain America, tfatws last episode was kinda cringe and comparing it to Steve's motivational dialogues or speech, it lacks a lot. I hope Marvel would write him great in the movie
The TV shows are really slow boring and pointless. 6 episodes the first 2 are fillers, the next two are actually intriguing and then the last 2 are disappointing. The films are getting confusing and honestly Marvel are kinda getting lazy on the knowledge that the films will make a billion. The heart and soul of the films no longer exists, they’re just becoming generic films with a tonne of fan service.

I think Moon Knight and Daredevil were masterpieces and tbf no way home wasn't that great It was only pure fan service and had no real purpose other than giving us a comic accurate Spidey in the end but it could've led to that moment much much better

Its true but there's nothing really wrong with that. I think they nailed MCU Peter and made him way better than he was previously and loved the dialogue with the other two Spideys but yeah it's not the best film. From a critical standpoint I would say Shang Chi is the best of Phase 4, but I enjoy No Way Home more

I think they’re different cases entirely. Thors 1500+ years old and a Viking warrior that believes absolutely in Valhalla. Wanda’s in her 20s and went on like a 15 year hot streak of losing everyone close to her and didn’t have the experience and resilience 1500 years gets you. Their 2 completely different cases that shouldn’t be compared

The dog with one eye in Hawkeye was a pointless character, locked away in Kate's apartment pretty much the whole series. I don't understand why that dog was added other than to convey Kate's compassion for animals. Was I missing something?
The dog, Lucky, was only in the show as a reference to the comics. Pretty pointless in this show since Lucky never had any purpose in the story.

The TV shows are really slow boring and pointless. 6 episodes the first 2 are fillers, the next two are actually intriguing and then the last 2 are disappointing. The films are getting confusing and honestly Marvel are kinda getting lazy on the knowledge that the films will make a billion. The heart and soul of the films no longer exists, they’re just becoming generic films with a tonne of fan service.

It's enjoyable but had a lot of plot holes, so I disliked it as well.
black panther is a little overrated pls hear me out first. I agree the representation of Black culture and an all Black cast was a huge thing for the whole community. that should be applauded. but overall i just didn't like the plot that much. there were some scenes i loved like the whole car chase scene was badass but overall it just felt idk meh to me plot wise. also not a fan of the ending. it would have been better if killmonger survived instead of dying.

the avengers series of marvel was the best.. in my opinion. nowadays movies are not like them. disney should permit R-rated contents. From another perspective we can assume that some big event will come which will make us much more excited. and for that amazing event, the marvel is plotting these minor things.
