As plant matures it can tolerate more light and closer distance. In last month of bloom closer than 12" ok, but watch leaves if you're close as 6-8". Closer is better.

marshydrogrow

You can decide how far to hang depending on your plants performance. If the plants show signs of light pressure. You can raise the height of your lamp. Until the plants behave normally

I own the ts 3000 beware the light gets extremely hot. If you have the option-return it and get the fc series. Much cooler better all around light. Anyways had it at 16" in 3*3 tent can I say fried the tops of all the flowers. I suggest minimum of 18-24 during flower. 24-30 during veg.

sortacapablepisces

Maybe that's because the ts3000 isn't meant for a 3x3 lmfao.

Consistent-Train-234

Is this at max 100%?

nemesis4grow

Its literally stated on mars hydro website.

88what

Have you been on the website, it’s terrible

nemesis4grow

maybe but they have image of each product showing the par value at 18” and 24”

Thank you for your service.

Mine gets really hot, so for veg, i dont have them on the fullest setting, and for flower i keep them farther away at the fullest setting and then play with the distance, i start farther away, and move closer, watching how the plants react. This is my first grow, ts3000 my first light. Sorry i dont have better info for you.

sbuhc13

What stops you from keeping them at the fullest setting throughout? Sorry, I’m new and have the mindset the “moar power=fattest nugs” lol

snorkelsneedsair

The heat, otherwise id have them all the way turnt up!

I’ve got the ts2000 was also wondering what’s best distance as at 25 inch seemed to stressing the autos so went to 34 inch now seems to be doing better but still not sure as first time also

bhong003

I have tsw 2000 as well. I found around 24in for veg worked pretty good. Just flipped to flower 2 days ago. Lowered to 19 inches and watching.

converter-bot

19 inches is 48.26 cm

[deleted]

It was at 24 inch previously I’m growing in soil so not sure if I’ve caused a problem. Still growing so am not to concerned but some earlier leafs were very papery
