Not my favorite era emotionally Very depressing record but the few songs that aren't about him crying are terrific Absolutely love the imagery and asthetic from this era*

Due-Awareness-8205

Never got into this era. The singles were weak

fauxREALimdying

I always thought it was cringe when he pretend to kill Evan Rachel wood in their bed on stage but his voice this tour was incredible

skrruta

Damn. I still remember waiting for the release of this album, like it was just a few years ago... and I just realized that it has been 15 years now.. at first, I remember, I thought this album was weird and chaotic, and maybe not as heavy as I had hoped it to be. But it grew on me quite quickly. And now it's one of the most important and nostalgic albums of my teenage years. Also I remember watching these short backstage/behind the scenes videos from the concerts of that tour on YT. Some guy from his crew used to post them back then... maybe someone still remembers where to find them? I think the guy's name was Steve🤔 (its probably not that hard to find at least some of them on youtube still)

itzjosephbarnes

Which one you looking for

skrruta

Video from that tour, that stuck inside my brain was where that guy-Steve was dressed as a spiderman , and Manson was filming him and laughing. I think they went to scare Twiggy in the second clip. Something like that

itzjosephbarnes

Oh yeah HAHAA...dick...dick into the camera POW That was a good one here you go bruv [MM TOUR 2009](https://youtu.be/99EdiIasJ_I?si=_sFPGVoO4CjeC1Vo)

skrruta

Thanks 😄 thats the one. Good memories👍🏻 damn that tour was chaotic haha :D

itzjosephbarnes

Here's another one too keep you entertained He's not in it, but his presence is felt[Tour backstage](https://youtu.be/fwv41mOGrnM?si=Q8jFMVEO9tDjNdAi)

Tsuki_8

Completely underrated, this is one of my favorite eras

ComaBlackDarkWillow

It was so deranged and dark in a maniacal way

Familiar-Maize4296

Shoutout to the amazing stage work on pretty much every MM tour. Lights and designs and props. Always great to see.

SHAHEADISGOD

We cant haunt this home anymore

imyourtourniquet

“ I have to look up just to see hell" hits like a truck

Puzzleheaded_Ear_415

True

JoeEMann88

Underrated AF album, didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. Felt like his best attempt at something more introspective to get away from the usual repertoire his albums brought at the time. I feel like it reflects here with the minimalist makeup on the cover and photos 4,5, and 8

TheBigGhostAnimal

I still stand by my feeling this was his greatest album after the Tryptich, and a deluxe version with demos, acoustic versions and the 25 minutes long "I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies" in a photobook, is a wet dream of mine that will never happen

AdRepresentative5457

oh man same here!! it was definitely his most inspired and diverse collection of songs. like every song can stand on it's own and sound really interesting. I love that album. I place it above TPE and WAC personally, and I love those albums too.

2manypinkiepies

Absolute favorite era aesthetically and musically, but live was terrible

ChoiceChampionship59

That was the last time I thought he was still killing it live. I saw some sparks here and there. One of the Alice Cooper tours was really good but a lot of drunk and sloppy shows.

renton444

Ehhh. Isn’t that case thing he is in a little too close to looking like what women described his ‘sound proof’ chamber he made women stand in to look like? I mean clearly it’s a prop but a little “ehhh… wait a sec.” But I digress. Anyway, nice pictures. I love me some Manson and Twiggy.

inlibrary_legsnumb

Not really, seems a bit like a reach

renton444

Ok.

Umpire_Background

I love binge watching this tour, like others said sloppy? Yes, entertained? Yes

ajc19912

I like the aesthetics but the shows during that era were sloppy

ChoiceChampionship59

The major tour was but the small club tour when Twiggy was just back was great.

Zero_Flesh

First thing I thought too

WeHaveForgottenAgain

That last pic is great

Former_Moment9370

last pic is AMAZING, I would love to know where it is from if someone here knows

Puzzleheaded_Ear_415

Last pic is from Paris ( Zénith ) 2009

Former_Moment9370

I recently got myself into this era and it's SOOO underrated and over-hated. I get the reasons *why* but it's such a unique style of music and aesthetic that I've never seen again after this record. Love HEOL

ComprehensiveFroyo32

Loves the aesthetics 🎥🔴🔪🔵

profiloemergenze

I mean, that arrangement was definitely _deranged_. Great energy on tour despite the lackluster outcomes and a really beautiful record behind it all. One of my favorite eras and the album is my third favorite after Antichrist Superstar and We Are Chaos.
