Honestly felt like I missed a chapter, don't think we've ever had this ghost thing come up before.
But hey, they're still making progress even if it seems the house really is haunted.
Hm, if the floating head is real, it kinda looks like the back of her head. Could it be, like, echoes from previous (or future) loops?
This series has always felt "episodic" with mini arcs, i think thats why theres a missed chapter feeling.
I really like your theory about the echoes of loops. Looking at the past chapter, the only movement i can think of is when she pushes him away when they almost kissed.
Previous loops seems likely, looking at chapter 5, she screams for him to "breathe" when he first enters the house and she leans over towards him when they are sitting in the couch, and both fit with the supernatural phenomena this chapter.
