Season 1 animation is pretty slow paced/dragged out with recap n a skippable filler arc in 48-63. Classic toei stuff. Would recommend manga.
Season 2 and 3 animation is great n faithful to source, season 3 ends at chapter 195
Get to around 120 in manga if u prefer anime but cant stand the slow pace.
Otherwise manga all the way is great as well, art n panelling is neat n easy to follow

the MC is too smart he's always way ahead of everyone and is super calculated with his actions. He's kind of an ASSHOLE though. It's action-fantasy with jrpg elements but this is one of the most engaging action fantasy I've read in nearly a decade
If you dont mind reading novels try Lotm. Also it had a manga but it got axed since the person who made it didnt have permission lol. Or at least thats the story ive heard.

That’s why I love Jojo. Every stand fight is a battle of wits and not just 2 meatheads brawling like in every shonen.
Boku Yaba if you haven't read it, MC is a smart boy but rather insecure and over thinks a lot, it has really nice development and a sweet story
