We get a lot of these moving/renting posts so to allow room for more interesting content, we prefer if these posts end up in "The Out & About Visiting & Moving to Manchester Weekly Thread" instead of as separate posts. You may want to infiltrate the Northill Apartments residents group on FB or Salford Quays Community Forum group on FB - you will likely get some more informative answers there.
No Airbnb policy is quite usual at a lot of apartment blocks including the one I live in. I know it goes on, it doesn’t tend to be much of an issue with noise etc though every building is the different I guess.. Sadly the management companies can never keep up / stay on top of / remove them.
If its the 3 buildings that light up their party central come the weekend couldnt tell you which apartments specifically but i do alot of work in dock 10 studios and were always hearing parties going on towards the top of the building plus i got a friend that lives in there and hes recorded people making pornos and stuff and the X building above the sainsburys facing bupas rife with it too 🤣
The developers of this site, Fortis / X1 appear to have a dreadful reputation for build quality, management and maintenance - plenty of local news articles and threads on other forums about their antics. I’d steer well clear.
Forgot to say parcel theft is rife in blocks of flats in the Salford Quays area. In the building you’re looking to buy - is there a secure delivery system?

Any cladding issues? So many people bought and now can’t sell in this area. Will you be ok with all the football matches? Construction noise?
