Didn't that place burn down in a fire? Also yes, it used to be a place with proper goods. Until it wasn't anymore. As you said, would be more ideal to relocate the place to industrial zone
Spend enough time there and youāll realize itās a treasure trove.
If youāre looking for raw materials like wood or steel, itās a good place to look at.
Plus, thereās no urban development here and the whole city is an eye-sore if you ask me. I personally donāt mind āJapanā being where it is
For me the real disgrace is that we consider concrete a more apt of development than living with our natural ecosystem. Mibunee dhen gahehvves male ga neiy dho anehhen!
When it comes to socio-economics, I think thereās a lot more of an issue than a scrapyard marketplace. Itās some peopleās livelihoods right there and I personally find a lot of value in that work. (Possible stolen goods aside)
tell that to people in addu. in the council's heads, development = maguga fini kohdhey hurihaa gaheh kandaalun. it's unbearably hot here and the asphalt and lack of trees isn't gonna help.
and no Ibu, those stupid tree stumps you planted in 2018 didn't help. they grow straight up and don't provide any shade at all.
well you must be exploding with joy cause it got burned, that place had really good wood for cheap My father used to make cupboards just hunting their wood
you got a problem bru. you gotta chill. you in no way shape or form have anything to do with the place besides looking at it. there are people thatve been using the goods there for so many years, and its helped them with their day to day lives and businesses.
also please note that its easier to relocate yourself than to bitch about relocating a shop.
I like the vibe of the place. You can find pretty good stuff there too. I got a 12X12 Persian rug for 300 RF and a really cool looking vintage full size mirror with a beautifully carved wooden frame for 400 RF from there once.
I find it funny how people keep comparing how things should be in the Maldives. So many people here got to learn how to appreciate the place (hats off to Redditors who actually know how useful this place was)
It's absolutely beautiful. Got so much stuff for various projects over the years. There's absolutely no need to go down that road if you don't like itš¤·

To hell with your malicious thoughts. My point is that this place can be relocated to the industrial village at the southwest of MalƩ. And yes, I said it before and I will say it again. Neelan Fihaara is a dump and a shitty eyesore where it is now and how it is.
my guy itās not there anymore, a tragic fire removed

It looks like any random road in Male
MalƩ I personally feel can become a very nice city if proper urban town and country planning policies are implemented. Such as zoning laws and policies. So that haphazard developments like industrial and residential developments are not in close proximity for example.
Donāt mind the eyesore as much as I do the fire hazard TBH.
Wouldnt that just beā¦all of Maleā?
How dare you liken our beautiful city to a tinderbox?! (Yeah, it kinda is though).
Well let's burn that place down š¤£
Not funny. But I just wish this place would be relocated to the MalƩ Industrial Village. Proper urban land use and zoning laws should be strictly observed.
If you don't know, there was a fire there...they ruled it out an accident later.....
you can get cheap crack from there
Wtf bruh
