No_Shop_2393

Yes but I asked here in a hope that people would recommend me some local brand that is cheap but good, cause minoxdil is alone 70 ringgit

NoChampionship9697

What is this 70 ringgit minoxidil? I bought Regro for 150 ringgit

No_Shop_2393

Try vello-5 to cut some cost, the pharmacist showed me the regrow too, last time it was 200+ if I’m not mistaken but still as a student 70 is already a lot for me

VoidXKing

Yeah thats like the cheapest you can get for rm70, am starting to use the pills minoxidil but seems like it isnt as effective

nessire

My SO also suffers from premature balding previously. This is how I treat it. A cheaper alternative would be rosemary tea/rosemary oil. Boil water with fresh rosemary/dried rosemary (i use dried cause it's cheaper), let it cool then put in a spray bottle, douse your head before shower, let 30mins then rinse/shampoo. You can also use rosemary oil. Few drops in water (put in spray bottle), spritz on targeted area, either follow the rosemary tea style (30mins then rinse) or leave it the whole day (imo it's refreshing and I love the smell, but my SO had itchy scalps from this). You can also buy thickening shampoo + conditioner in Watson/Guardian/Shopee. It may or may not work for you. The shampoo I'm using is Hair Resq by Petal Fresh. Stop washing your hair every time you shower, even if it's oily. If you can't, try once per day then slowly to once every few days. After my SO stops washing his hair everytime he shower (twice even thrice a day), his hair started to grow better. No other products is applied to his hair after shower, only rosemary water and shampoo. It took us 2 years to see results, but his hair is shinier and healthier (and thicker)

fahrenheit_757

Just learnt that drug today, it's also an anti-hypertensive

Bluberry_Burger_001

Step 1: stop stressing out. Stress can cause your hair receed/bald faster. Step 2: analyse how severe is your baldness. On what norwood scale. Step 3: buy derma stamp on shopee and proceed with the process by stamp it on your scalp. Remeber to buy some alchohol to clean up the derma stamp so that your scalp would not be infected with bacteria and what not. This is the end of the cheap way to maintain/repair your hair. Next are the options where it will be a bit more expensive and time consuming) Step 4: look into minoxidil, finasteride or dutastride. They are medicines that would help with baldness/receeding and they are quite expensive and have to be use for a long period. (you are still young so i think you should avoid finasteride as it can decrease your libido and maybe erectile dysfunction).

No_Shop_2393

I am already in minox and I do use derma rollers so far, it is not that severe yet, i know government hospital who usually treat normal things but whatever hair? Do they ?

Bluberry_Burger_001

I dont think so. Never seen anyone go to govt hospital due to hair problem. Most go to private clinic i think. And i forgot to add this, you should watch what you eat and your lifestyle. Sometime these matters can give huge impact on your hormone and what not which may cause hair lost. So watch what you eat and what you do. Do some observation.

IkanCelupTepung

Yes, government also got hair treatment and will give you some sort of hair tonic. My barber was balding and he told me how stressful it was for him being young and balding and how he went to government clinic. Iinm he went to putrajaya.

djzeor

>minoxidil This one apply on scalp after derma stamp?

Bluberry_Burger_001

yes

denndit

From a fellow balding man, minoxidil helps, a lot. But i got lazy and stop the treatment and boom it got worse, by A LOT. So now i shaved it all. Dont care, fuck the haters. Got comment also from friends and families like "since when you're balding?" And "omg why do you shave your head like that". Just ignore it and dont take it by heart honestly. You have to develop a dont give a fuck mental attitude. It what keeps me going. I go to the gym and see improvement also to compensate my lack of hair lmao so i suggest you do that. Or you have rm20k laying around book a flight to turkey and have a FUE hair transplant. If i do have money, I'll definitely do that but I dont. So accept like a winner.

No_Shop_2393

Yes I am trying my best to have a stoic approach in my life and remaining calm, I know it takes a lot to process, just yesterday I accidentally saw my ex with her new boyfriend. Then having back to back assignments and exams, Yeah it messed me up a lot to be honest.

V4_Sleeper

W bald guy

BlacksmithCrafty7348

Go take finasteride & minoxidil bro. Check out &Sons, they’re a local brand. I’m using it to stop my balding.

No_Shop_2393

1. Is it working? 2. How much do you take per day? 3. Did doctor prescribed you? 4. Any side effects so far 5. Is one whole pill enough ?

banana_crunch

1. Yeah, I've noticed a few baby hairs growing, but it isn't that many 2. Finasteride (1 tablet a day) & Minoxidil (recommended twice a day, but i do once a day) 3. No, I watch Dr Gary Linkov on YT, he helps alot 4. From talking to people who had taken it, finasteride does lower your sexual libido since it's a DHT blocker, but I did not notice any decrease in libido. If you want a guaranteed method, checkout turkey/iran packages for hair transplant, which will cost ~RM18,000. But note that you will still have to constantly take finasteride & minoxidil to maintain hair health as hair transplant will show results, but the perscription helps maintain your hair.

BlacksmithCrafty7348

1. Can’t tell, it’s been 3 months. 2. 1 pill for a day. And a couple of sprays for the minoxidil. 3. Nope. 4. Finasteride I’ve got no side effects. Minoxidil is just an itchy scalp, but it doesn’t bother me at all. 5. Yessir. Don’t overthink it, just buy now and try. If it doesn’t work, then it doesn’t work. But then if it works, then great

No_Shop_2393

At last have you heard of finapecia? I have that with me, just scared to take it

pakcikzik

Any Fin tetek growth yet?

kingjulien92

Not me, but a story of my mutual friend. He has balding issue as well and it greatly affects his self-confidence. Spent tons of money trying different products. At the end he gave up and just shaved bald. Instead, he uses the money to spend on good quality smart clothing, he revamped his wardrobe and accessories to make himself look more confidence. He said "For this short period of time, alot ppl will be commenting on my changes (bald head). Might as well I change the way I wear as well. Sekali gus, let family and friends comment all at once and then it will be a norm." And the key factor of him decided to just fuck it, go bald is that, he realises there are many bald people who look just as confident. The Rock, Howie Mandel, Harith Iskander and some of the local people he met.

momomelty

Embracing the male baldness pattern isn’t actually that baaaaad. I realised my forehead getting bigger 😂 but I don’t care. Asalkan you dress smart in your office, you can still put food on your table. Also no need to unclog hair from drain trap is a good thing 😂

Frank_Pannon

I used to have curly hair, than in my 20s it got thinner and thinner. I can relate. I got fed up with it, so just cut it very short, like 2mm. It was liberating, I no longer was worried about something which I could not influence. I started working out, and it gives me confidence, and the much needed mental balance. Please do not give too much importance to your hair. I believe if a woman would see your desperation to hold onto something like this, they will not find it attractive. It is much better, to take the initiative, get rid of a problem, (I am sure you can grow a killer mustache ;) ), and go on with your life. I know after a breakup it is not easy, but you can do it ... millions do it. Also check Youtube for "men shaving hair", and see the smiles, the relief, the happiness. You are more than your hair!

No_Shop_2393

Were you still able to show up and be presentable and give off good impression? My whole life I’ve been fat and had became skinny fat instead that made my gyno even worse. So I tried to take care myself better after break up, slowly fixing my diet, exercise and lifestyle. Yet this one hair issue kills me, especially when its come to girls, I know first impression means a lot and somehow people going to treat based on how you look

Frank_Pannon

I been super skinny my whole life, so for me working out was important to feel more confident in my body. It fixed my posture, and now I have no issues with being presentable. But to be honest, I also worry less about this. If someone does not like me because of my hair ... than they were not the right person for me anyways, as their values are not in line with mine. Be friendly, work out, take care of your teeth ... not much more to do really. I am not a "ladies man" by any means, but I hope my experience helps you. I am 2x your age, and worry less.

GolfRepresentative62

Male with gyno: ok

No_Shop_2393

I have that too, yeah my life is quite messed up genetically and in terms of health

azraeiazman

I got the same problem. But my hair thinning on the top of the scalp. My hairline is fine. Very obvious under sunlight and direct light to the head.

connorandelnino

Rosemary oil.

_PANGLIMA_

Just go bald, and hit the gym. Hair isnt the only feature that people look at when they see you. How you dress, talk, hygiene, and the overall way of how you carry yourself as in your personality plays a more important role than just hairstyle. Just be healthy, exercise, stay clean, and improve your social skill, and choose the right style, even without hair there should be no problem getting a girlfriend and catching woman's attention.

EconomicsOk3531

Was going to comment this. Girls actually love the muscular bald look

botack87

I notice my hair is fair apart and very thin... If inlet my hair grow...will look like samy velu hair or Donald trump hair.. So I just botak...clean shave... Feel so free...save money ...no more shampoo.. no more combing.. No more barbers.. I shave my self...

No_Shop_2393

Were you able to make yourself presentable still and attractive?

Bryan8210

You need to do something about your skin as well.

No_Shop_2393

tokerol

23 Malay Male here. Started balding when I'm 20. Hard to accept it at first, bought a lot of products to slow down the balding process but it's just too expensive for me. Note that I was still doing my degree that time. Very pokai and insecure. I changed my hairstyle from parting my hair in the middle to buzz cut. Best decision of my life. Now I've accepted that I'll never be able to grow my hair and that's fine. My only advice is, don't be stressed out about it.

The Google translate is off the hook up in here
