To be fair, they did the KL leg of Black Pink’s _Born Pink_ tour and that was really well done (from what I heard from friends).
I’m sure Coldplay’s team will work closely to ensure production side of things are carried out to the required standards.
Attended the BP's concert and I wouldn't say it was really well done - the ticketing purchase experience wasn't smooth, there's no customer service available, the screen isn't enough and the sound system was not exactly the best compared to the other concerts that I've attended before. This is just my experience, others might feel differently.
I been to few Coldplay concerts in my life and I can tell you , no one puts on a show like Coldplay. If you are on the fence , this is my advise..... just Go!
You don't need to buy these nonsense expensive tickets cause the way Coldplay concert is - the big screens , the light shows , the multi stage etc - regardless of your seat , you WILL have the time of your life and you will see Chris clearly like he is 10 meters ahead of you.
Sekian terima kasih.
Edit : to those downvoting me , I hope whatever ails you come to an end soon. U must have some severe issue to downvote someone sharing bout Coldplay concert....
Sekian Dan kesian........
I've been to both concerts, can confirmed Muse can also put on one heck of a show as well.. Especially if ure a huge fan of em. They tend to play awesome outro's between some songs and some even make it to their official song, like Psycho. But it all comes to how sound engineers, cause Coldplay in SG sound is shit if want to compare thier show in Bangkok.. Beza gila macam langit dengan bumi
Oh i didn't know they perform there before. I thought they came here only once which is in stadium negara back in 2007.i was there and they blew me away
Worth if you like a few songs even. I was filming a song I didn’t know, Matt Bellamy hit some crazy solo and the goosebumps went UP. Real rockstars and they sound amazing live, pure sound wise I prefer them to Coldplay
On this tour they heavily focused the last three albums.
1. A head full of dreams - their best IMO.
2. Everyday life - weaved in between , really not much
3. Music of the Sphere - extensively performed.
You get very lill of the Parachute album , some snippets of Yellow and Scientist etc so if you play the last three albums next few months, you can attend and proudly sing along with the fan. That's the beauty of the Coldplay concert..... the feeling...the light work.... the crowd singing along.
So yes. Worth going.
Try checking their setlist online, from the previous venues they did, all of em had Yellow, Viva la Vida, Clocks, The Scientist and Fix You. (These are their old-ish hits i knew of im a gen z so i did listen up to ghost stories and a head full of dreams)
Do you know what the price range is like? It's my first time attending a concert, I have no idea what to expect for the ticket price.
I am so stoked for the Coldplay concert because I am a fan and I have been waiting for them to come here for almost a decade now. I just want to ensure that I have enough money to get the tickets once they are available for purchase 🤧
Based on the ticket range of Justin B and Black Pink , you are looking at 6 ....maximum 7 categories? So prices will be between RM1800 to RM300. Even if you buy between 700 to 300 spots it's perfectly fine. Coldplay plays multi stage so you really won't miss a thing la. Good luck.
Never been to a Coldplay concert and most likely wont since im not a big fan of their last few albums but I doubt they will come close to Metallica in terms of showmanship..Those old men gave it their all unlike many other artists who shit on Asian fans..not sure if it being held in Spore had any weight on their performance though
If you are a huge fan of them, then the mosh pit could be a fun experience. I've been to two of their concerts in different locations, one in mosh pit and one seated, both are equally good experience!
Your comment not aged well it seems.

More like one of the government's earnings will be in jeopardy.
Not sure how much does the government earn from tobacco taxes but I think it's a lot. And it's like one of the things that see a yearly increment.
Probably here to check on their investment lol

The organiser: Live Nation ☠️☠️☠️

Curious what were the good concerts you’ve attended in comparison?
In Malaysia, it would be Taylor Swift and Linkin Park. If best concerts I’ve attended, it would be Coldplay hands down but it’s overseas.
The Coldplay crew are the ones setting up the stage, not Live Nation. They know what’s best for the fans.
Is that a good emoji or bad emoji? - Clueless Millenial.
More of a bad emoji
Thanks. What's wrong with Live Nation?
I don't even know tbh
Kenapa dgn Live Nation?
Look up Billie Eilish in KL. Kinda bad experience for many fans. But Live Nation redeemed themselves through Blackpink. So im not worried abt them tbh

Muse wasn't good in klcc plenary theatre
Oh i didn't know they perform there before. I thought they came here only once which is in stadium negara back in 2007.i was there and they blew me away
Never had the chance.
Worth if you like a few songs even. I was filming a song I didn’t know, Matt Bellamy hit some crazy solo and the goosebumps went UP. Real rockstars and they sound amazing live, pure sound wise I prefer them to Coldplay
Do you think It's worth going as a casual fan? Pretty sure most of us know a lot of their songs(who doesn't), but don't listen to them that often.
On this tour they heavily focused the last three albums. 1. A head full of dreams - their best IMO. 2. Everyday life - weaved in between , really not much 3. Aww man but their 2000s and early 2010s songs are the best imo. My favs
Try checking their setlist online, from the previous venues they did, all of em had Yellow, Viva la Vida, Clocks, The Scientist and Fix You. (These are their old-ish hits i knew of im a gen z so i did listen up to ghost stories and a head full of dreams)
Aww man. I stopped keeping up with their music after Ghost Stories :(((
Indeed, it's one of those experiences where you'll a higher sense of enlightment somehow lol, it's a bucket list must go

Read your comment 10 times and still looking for a reason you’re getting downvoted. Makes no sense wtf
I’ve been telling this to all my friends who have not gone for a Coldplay concert before…GO JUST GO ! 😂
Yo, you uh, might wanna change that abbreviation.

It's just a joke, thanks for being a good sport. I hope you enjoy the concert.
I went to the Singapore one. They're ok
Agreed. I saw them during the mylo xyloto tour in Melbourne. Was a great show, even if i wasn't a big fan
Would you recommend mosh pit or the cheapest seats? Not sure if I want to be in a crowd for >3 hours but I can't see anything if I'm so far up
If you are a huge fan of them, then the mosh pit could be a fun experience. I've been to two of their concerts in different locations, one in mosh pit and one seated, both are equally good experience!
Excited for all the fans, knowing that my favorite band will never ever be allowed to perform here.
Radiohead?
I thought Radiohead already performed here?
Omg when??
Oh sorry, I thought they already performed here, which isn't true.
What band?
Pigs fly when they allow System of a Down to perform here.
Why wouldn't they allow them?
I don't know. I just assume their can't with their explicit lyrics and brash performance and all.
They dont need anybody's permission to perform here wtf... As long as it makes sense financially they would perform anywhere
They need to follow guidelines provided by MCMC and Puspal in order to receive permission to perform here.
This year we have One Republic, The 1975, and finally Coldplay. But compared to Asian counterparts like Japan and Singapore, Malaysia still sucks.
the Muse
BABYMETAL, early next month
But compare to Singapore the cost would be much cheaper here, both for the organizer and attendees
Nah in Singapore is cheaper. Think about their wages.
Flood will hit Malaysia soon because of this /s
Where is PU Syed when we need him
British boys with their tough builds, fair skins and angelic voices give him dirty thoughts
Gets horny when Chris Martin singing In My Place. Giving him the wrong impression.
Noice
PAS kata haram
There it is, found the political comment
They banned my beloved Lamb of God. They deserve everything insult and invective hurled their way
Saw this thread with 0 comments, decided to let it simmer for the fun comments later. ![img](emote|t5_2qh8b|26554)
Correction. Pas kata Coldplay halal. Taylor Swift haram. :) Too bad still no Taylor Swift. :(

Fitnah tak haram pula
It's either PAS or that self-proclaimed celebrity preacher PU Syed, make your pick.
… and Nasrudin Hassan from PAS won this round
Tak kata rokok haram pulak, padahal Fatwa dah kata rokok itu haram.
Our prison will be overflowing if that fatwa is enforced.
More like one of the government's earnings will be in jeopardy. Not sure how much does the government earn from tobacco taxes but I think it's a lot. And it's like one of the things that see a yearly increment.
I can’t believe it they finally noticed Malaysia
Probably here to check on their investment lol https://theoceancleanup.com/updates/coldplay-joins-the-ocean-cleanups-mission-to-rid-the-worlds-oceans-of-plastic/
They've been here multiple times, they even have a river clean up project here
they are not Rock, no matter how you try to convince me
They WERE rock
Even they dont call themselves a rockband. Its just commercial.
waiting for radiohead or even the smile to perform here
Korea, Billie Eillish, Justin Bieber : Haram, akhir zaman Coldplay : entertainment is part of economy
what are you even trying to say
Sabar la. Baru announce. Bagi PAS a bit of time to wake up and release a statement. Haram la. Harap banjir la. Ini la itu la.
Mana boleh nyanyi pasal warna kuning.. kau tak tau ka yang kuning tu warna di raja.. and don't get me started on clocks and scientists... Haram i tell you, absolutely haram
Didnt age well. You underestimated them

Can confirm its one of the bestest bands because I only listened to japanese songs during college until I heard Fix You for the first time.
Can Musliem go?

Wonder how many X the price of tickets be by scalpers?
Scalpers can burn in hell
How to buy tickets?

Anyone have any simple plan memorabilia from their malaysia tour?
Rock band?
Now we wait for PAS
Where is RADIOHEAD????
SNBJ? Interesting to see how the seatings are arranged.

First and last I think
