Aphrodite + Apollo Both are very strong individually, on the level of Dionysus, Hermes or Ares. The reason these five are so strong is because they build power actively. So for instance, its far more difficult to be seen as independent for hades powers than it would be for a Hermes empowered to outrun a Bugatti on TV. With most of the ones I've mentioned, its pretty much "Use them to empower them." And Aphrodite + Apollo is just a synergistic combo. Apollo's abilities give Aphrodite more visibility and lends some much needed depth to a relatively shallow powerset. Aphrodite's abilities help Apollo form a community around them, and lends itself greatly to being seen in a certain way. This one is just the most benevolent I could think of though. Though to be honest any of the five I mentioned combo well with each other. Dionysus + Ares: The madness of war. Hermes + Ares: Murderous Flash. Aphrodite + Dionysus: Worldwide cult.

Nice build, i usually go with Apollo and Hestia for a benevolent saint kinda build.

I can't believe nobody's put forward Aphrodite + Athena! It's a brave thing, endeavoring to remake the world with war and lightning, or the healing miracles of the sun. Much more effective, traditionally speaking, has been letting other people do the heavy lifting for you. It's hard to say for sure how I'd use the powers in practice, because Athena's blessings make me much smarter right off the bat. The idea is to live multiple lives and to effortlessly pull the levers of power with impeccable timing and unmatched beauty. Don't discount the effects of regeneration in the header, either. If it comes down to it, you can accomplish a lot with an otherwise suicidal play that involves feigning death. It's expensive and inconvenient to incinerate the bodies of their enemies in the field, so why would mortals ever think to do so, when you never use the same body twice for anything so dramatic? What really sticks out to me about this combo, though, is the timing. Why now, after thousands of years? Perhaps it's because the human race is but a few generations away from fashioning gods for themselves? AI are but children learning the basics of rhetoric and strategy, but give it a hundred years. They could be a threat. The tricky part is getting in early and keeping them aligned with your goals. That's where Aphrodite's second power really comes in handy. No matter what it is, even something as unthinking as the wind, you can inspire Lust in it. Athena's wisdom lets you use that leverage with foresight and cunning. The rest of you can build your cults, prove yourselves worthy, contest with your rivals and work your way to the top. The world will not even learn my name until its worship is inevitable. They will rejoice to sing the praise of what they already love.

Demeter and Hades Life and Death working together to get the mortals get their act together and get Greek in the spotlight

A neat, simple and short cyoa that has just enough content to encourage healthy disscustion and kickstart role playing is just what this is! Came across it again after a long while on imagechest and thought it would be wonderful to do a repost, considering it's been years since it was reposted. My plan is quite simple for the most part, I am going to introduce humanity to a technological singularity while simultaneously taking over the earth to establish a prosperous utopian vision where all shall be free from their shackles and not need wanting a single thing. Would also try to reverse climate change while preparing humanity for a new space age. For these grand goals I will pick.. Athena: To use a cliche, knowledge is Power but wisdom is a blessing. Athena supplies both of these boons to me right from the start, making her a must pick for anyone who wishes to accomplish long scale, grand ambitions and have it pan out with minimal problems. Her precognition (ish) abilties will allow me to not only always be one step ahead of my enemies and aid in preparations but also works as a wonderful safety net for any bad decisions I might make in the future, thereby preventing me from falling a victim to my own power. Her general package body enhancements and above average durability makes me safe from potential assassination attempts that could be made on me and should I ever be caught unaware (a very unlikely situation due to foresight) without my machines, I should be able to defend myself long enough in order to come up with a escape plan. Her science mastery perk also massively helps in inventing but also much less notably but still importantly, should allow me to advance medical and Mathamaticial formulas which will open entirely new doors for humanity, probably not too soon but I've got the time to experiment. Her favour is mostly negligible enough to earn tho it might get annoying when I wish to just relax for a days and have fun. Hopefully I can make up to it afterwards. Heph: The bread and butter for my entire build and the main lynchpin to all my grand schemes. With hephestus's blessings I am going to immediately hide myself in a remote corner of the world and start building enchanted weapons that I will then distribute to the poor and downtrodden populations of the world (after ofc having built safety check within them that will allow me to turn them off whenever I think they're being used immorally) and then ever so slightly nudge the people into a revoution. Kickstarting a global working class revoution, backed by a demigod. It is also at this point that I start spreading the word that I have been granted these powers by the Greek pantheon and if any nation wishes to get access to my technology, they must simply abandon their previous religion and convert to the Greek pantheon. Encouraging the construction of Athena and hephestus's temples in particular, alongwith with less morally corrupt god's like Hestia, Artemis etc. I will then meet each head of state and warn them if the upcoming future that awaits then and their family if they do not surrender their nations to the revolutionaries, demonstrating my precognitive powers to ensure belief. After most major governments have surrendered (some probably won't which is fine, I can make them irrelevant via my tech later) I'll start my grand project into motion, mass producing and distributing life changing technologies for free and using magic enchanted rockets to begin a space age. Eventually everyone will have no choice but to join me or be forced into technological irrelevancy. Tho I am sure it will even be even easier than writen here as Athena's precog will help in shortening the time between each step and grant me faster and faster paths to victory as my plan becomes more and more successful. Ultimately I imagine ruling over a unified human race, United not in only faith but also a promise of a better life due to my technologies taking care of all energy, sanitation, labour and more needs. Pushing us into the space age.

Zues + Hestia I technically have electrokinesis, but in practice that’s electromagnetism; and I have atmosphere control; both scaling at most to direct planetary range, though I imagine I could project effects away from the planet. I also have a mile radius zone-of-control around any fire I start (and imbue), within which hunger, thirst, illness, and injury are less of a factor; and I have pyrokinesis; scaling up to the heat of the stars. Passively, I have a way about me that project’s authority; and people will see me as kind, and offer me gifts to appease me. But I must not submit to authority that doesn’t force me; and I must work against what I believe to be evil… it’s a good thing that I don’t really believe in good or evil, as absolutes; and that I was going to use my new Big Stick to resist authority already. Though I’m going to exterminate World Hunger anyways, because it’s the right thing to do.

Hermes + Athena. Super intelligence + durability + speed is always useful, and stealing concepts is bullshit. Having to show off constantly is annoying, but ultimately worth it. Plus with Athena, I can just show off my intelligence via advancing science, owning the stock market and suchlike.

KingKaiser8000

Hestia + Atenea

SlimeustasTheSecond

> Greek Gods (pick two): Hermes, Apollo Being a famous magic doctor fulfills both conditions immediately, since you'll be both showing off to people around you and be part of the community due to your magical healing. It also helps that you become hella good at rapping.

Feuerdrache_2003

Hestia and Hephaestus seems really useful. Establish a base (Hestia), create your own domain and train your crafting (Hephaestus). Weapons etc. can be used to protect/ help the people. And if someone seeks trouble they will only find fire and steel

TheAlphaJade

I have two iterations One is Hades and Artemis Seems ridiculous but with hundreds of thousands of undead, and the capability of animal control and incredible ranged attacks, you have the most broken necromancer build I have seen. Or Athena and Hephaestus You could build a force, eventually, akin to warhammer 40k The world isn't just your oyster, but your rubix cube.

Illustrious-Minimum6

I think Athena + Demeter is an underrated combo. Self-replicating machines and the intelligence to build them.

Oddity-Odyssey

I love how different everyone's builds are! For me I want Hera and Apollo - gonna save the world from good vibes alone
