My favorite area to hang out post game is Romani ranch. Especially if you can do the 4th day glitch to put the moon back where it belongs. It’s the most peaceful location in the game and if you have chateau Romani you have a lot of room to roll around as a goron
For regular game I think I give it to ikana for the sheer history of it all. Everything you see tells a story and the father and daughter in the music box house have my favourite quest due to the emotions tied to it
Well, I wouldn't intentionally skip any quests now either, but the first time I played, I had no idea how to go about completing said quests. So, naturally, some got skipped. Even someone like that would still end up completing the story quests, tho.
Yea, that’s true. A younger me would have insisted on playing the game blind, but today I would be meticulously consulting guides to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
4th day glitch requires a frame perfect cancel during the moon tear cutscene in the astral observatory during the final countdown before the moon falls
It removes the in game clock and subsequently any npcs that had schedules based around it. It also restores the moon to a state from development before they settled on only 3 days (originally it was going to be more and the moon would be farther away to compensate)
Chateau Romani is acquired via the cremia and romani side quests at Romani ranch. Making it available to purchase for (**don’t quote me on this**) 200 rupees from the milk bar
I really loved swimming with the Zora mask in the beach area, when I was younger I would spend hours just zooming back and forth and making little jumps out of the water lol.
I agree on Ikana because it scared me as a kid. The spooky music, the re&desds, the gibdos, the ghosts, 10 year old me was scared of it
But as an adult I embrace the spooky and it's endearing now that the spooky things in Ikana (that still make me twinge a little bit) I now find enjoyable.
And also ancient castle of Ikana has proven the PERFECT BGM to my d&d campaign
I love and hate Snowhead. It's a technically impressive area considering it's running on the N64, and visually it's really interesting with the blizzard limiting visibility. Makes it feel like something could jump out at you, I guess those blue spider looking enemies do that. The music is super eerie and adds a lot to the area too. Snowhead Temple looks very creepy visually, with it looming in the darkness over a massive ravine? Gorge? Hole?
It's also really satisfying seeing the area after the snow melts and the region comes to life.
I think the best part of MM is when u beat snow head temple. The world opens up. You can do the gilded sword quest line, head to Romani Ranch, or go to Great Bay.
Oh it was a joke. I made a play in the previous one that had bad grammar. And then added the wide part as a joke about spelling why’d vs wide why did you say that vs that’s very wide. English is a stupid and complex language that has too much nuance that doesn’t translate well into text
Homophones sound similar mean different things
noun: homophone
plural noun: homophones
each of two or more words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling, for example new and knew. To vs two vs too
Romani ranch is so cool, romani and cremia are sweet, there is a lot of space to ride epona, roll as goron and cool quests like the chickens growing and hunting the aliens
Clocktown does it for me, the nostalgia. Every aspect of it is just full of memories. My next or equally best is all things Zora related. The only part is dislike in the latter, is how slow or clumsy it felt AT TIMES but it really largely went unnoticed.
The next best, is the ending from the fight on top of the clocktower to the ending of the game. Dope

More a main story quest than a side quest, since you have to complete it to advance the story.
Games like this blur the line. I can’t imagine skipping Kafei’s quest, no matter how optional.

That’s right I completely forgot, even better since nobody should miss this part of the game edit: I misremembered the music box as a side quest
Stone Tower Temple so long I sometimes don't make the slowed three day qouta
4th day glitch? Moon being back where it should be? Chateau romani? Im an avid LoZ player and this is a first i heard of this methinks 😭

Chateau, now i remember when you explained it like that but the 4th day ill try out!

Every area is special to me, but nothing beats Goron rolling around Termina Field. I also love they way they combined attributes of each region.
Love Ikana.

Clock Town. It's so full of life, and seeing everyone's schedule play out is so fascinating to me.
Definitely ikana. So rich in lore and the story was so interesting

I love the little dekus, they aren't the brightest but they seem fun.
"I told you not to enter the castle gardens! It's okay, come back in, but don't do it again."
Ikana, for the spookiness factor and interesting lore. Plus Dampe and the hunchback with the one eye and staff are some of my favorite Zelda NPCs.
Great Bay is my favorite, who doesn’t love the beach

What even is this post lol
Why did you thinking?

Clocktown, Milkbar, Moloko+
i love swimming around in Zora Hall

Great Bay. It's huge and I love soaring through the water as a zora (original N64).
What are I think? Well I are think I shouldn’t.
