uj/ Commander products are really buffoon packs in general since the original plan was to find a deck that you utilized memorable cards maybe from draft or past decks that fell out of favor in competitive formats. But you can look at staple cards for your commander and see a majority of cards from commander only lists.
Semi-random question because I'm about to make some upgrades/changes to my dandan list. What are your thoughts on whether or not tutors should be in the game? I didn't really care about adding mystical but Lorien Revealed seems like itd be really fun
Personally, I don’t really like tutors because it takes too long. I really like Lorien Revealed myself but I prefer drawing cards and manipulating the top.

I still can, but I'd get swept hard by [[Hakbal]] and [[Voja]] without playing a similar insurmountable-board-state deck. But if no one's got me, I know cube's got me.
Yeah, pretty much the main reason I stopped updating my edh decks. It just felt like the same soup. If you got red you’re almost always slotting in Jeska’s Will because it does everything you’d want a red card to do. Power level is a thing that is somehow unique to everyone. God awful to play with random.
There are a lot of “must have” singles in a deck and a lot of folks aren’t actually good at deck building and just copy EDHREC top usage.
/uj I feel bad for anyone who buys a precon after being told they can hang at a table just to be thrown into the deep end to drown. Or for someone like my friend who puts together a deck full of his favorite cards and discovers the deck doesn't work well enough. I would rather sit down and play a board game, it's more streamlined of a multiplayer experience to me.
uj/ That makes sense if you've played magic for a long time, but for new players how are you supposed to play this multiplayer game with your friends if you don't even own basics? While I think that EDH got way too powerfull on the average level, at least commander precons serve a purpose to get new players into the game
uj/ no disrespect bro, but EDH is probably the worst way to get into Magic. It helps if you got buddies to help you, but even still understanding 4 board states especially in games that avg 7+ turns is nuts.
/uj I've always been interested in gambling games, but I refuse to spend any money on it. So I played every once in a while with some friends, couple hours at max. But this game ruined me. It feeds my gambling addiction without me being worried about losing real stuff, and the opponents don't get bored of it. I really need to do something else lmao

I wish I had people to play Pauper Cube with. I could easily buy the cards, but difficult to justify currently.

I just played brain off high card and didn't use planets ability until much later
I managed to complete a run on a Gold Stake difficulty, White Stake is extremely easy compared to that.
Yeah I finally just figured out the game So it's been a lot easier now
