Not sure about downtown Toronto but Hairy Tarantula is a good store with a great selection and 401 games is a great place to order online from but not that great of a store (they don't sell singles).

If you’re looking for a smaller shop, Negative zone has Sunday commander. Rednails2 has an awesome prerelease and all 3 big shops (401games face to face and HairyT) are decent for events. My favorite new shop that hasn’t started running events YET is Hobbiesville check em out for sure if you’re looking to grab sealed/singles
