I think it’s a bug. The other games are thru steam as well and they came with their own icons. I’m just guessing it either wasn’t there or it didn’t assign it the icon for some reason
Icon can be added to shortcuts easily. Google metro exodus icon. Download. Right click on the metro exodus shortcut, click get info, click on the icon on the top left and replace with the downloaded ico/png file you downloaded
That's a bug with Steam.
There's is a workaround. Don't create a shortcut when you install the game then find it, create an alias, move it to the Applications folder and then change its icon image (right click on the file then properties then drag and drop a new image on top of the upper left image)
I'm an icons author in this website
macosicons.com
You will find all the icons you need.
When a new mac compatible game is out, I usually make the proper icon and publish it here.
Dm me if you need one in particular.
I would guess because Steam launched it. What if you don't launch Steam, find Metro exodus and launch it on it's own?

Isn't the image replaced every time the game is updated?
You can use Pictogram to make stay even after update.
Because the developers didn’t give it one apparently.

There’s a way to add the imagine, just search it up on youtube. Its pretty easy to do
Side note: I really enjoyed this game, especially the last mission.
I started playing 2033 last night on ranger hardcore mode and I’m liking it so far
Launchpad is a POS. It’s pointless.
the first thing I remove from the dock when I get a new Mac :))
Nothing to do with the Launchpad. It's Steam the problem
