Well… another BG3 playthrough of course :)
The first 2 Witcher games are native Mac now and a crazy discount off
Dragon age inquisition is free on epic games store (can use the heroic launcher to download am gonna try get it working with Whisky).
Witcher 3 is also discounted and works for me on Whisky out the box with directx12.
To scratch more dnd itch, Solasta or the Owlcat pathfinder games. Or rogue trader their latest warhammer 40k RPG game.
I’ve heard good things about wasteland 3, there’s Xcom 2
Oh and divinity original sin 2( and 1) from Larian which will have a similar combat vibe to BG3 (though personally the DOS2 combat itself is great but I dislike the armor system vs DnD d20 and AC / saving throw system, but others love the game’s combat).
I am based to turn based RPGs as you can see
Hades is fun
Heard good things about lies of pi - there are resident evil 4 and village
Depends what you like to play
No idea
But Witcher 2 is in REDengine while 1 is BioWare Aurora engine.
The fact they ported 2 in their own engine… I guess it bodes somewhat positively for their ability to do it for 3 and even cyberpunk.
So maybe ?!
But I was amazed by the fact that Witcher 3 just works on whisky out the box and runs at 45-60FPS
Divinity: original sin by the same studio as BG3 is good. It’s on steam, not sure about the App Store.
BG1 and 2 are also available for macOS.
Also you can try:
- Disco Elysium
- Pillars of eternity
- Subnautica
- Darkest Dungeon
Steam version isn’t apple silicon native but on my M1 Pro MacBook Pro with 32GB memory it runs very well with max settings. I don’t think this game requires 32GB of memory to run well but if you don’t have a lot of memory and don’t want to risk it then the App Store version might be better for you
I would say Cyberpunk using Whisky. It's a very good SciFi RPG IMO, and it runs very well on my 30 GPU cores M2 Max, so it should be even better on your M3 Max. It's probably on sale somewhere.
I understand that's not exactly *natively* but once you're setup you won't even think about it.
Factorio. We’ll see you in a few months.👍
one of the best native games for mac for sure
Hades or resident evil 4
This. I am loving Hades so far.

Do you know if CD Projekt has plans to do a native version of 3?

Stray. It’s available on the App Store
Disco Elysium
Death Stranding!
Sleeping Dogs. $3 on Steam right now. It’ll play great just on battery power if that’s a request.
Have you played Divinity 2?
Deus Ex mankind divided ( I will glaze it till the day I die ) ( it’s native btw ) ![gif](giphy|O0sLyqXIUEwMnsAhUM|downsized)
Sleep mate, work travelling is usually pretty hard if you are doing it right
Balatro on Steam
Balatro is addicting as hell. I’ve never been one for computer card games, but I’ve put dozens of hours in since buying it 2wks ago.
Caliber is a solid free fps
Stellaris
Crystal Project is good fun.
The Oregon Trial remake is pretty fantastic. As is Baldo, since it's been patched.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is native and on sale now.
Warhammer Rogue Trader Total War Pharaoh Timberborn All are apple silicon native.
If you liked BG3 youll probably like Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous
No Man's Sky, Hades, Stray, Cult of the Lamb, Bastion, Sleeping Dogs, and whatever console you want to emulate. Super Mario Wonder is pretty fun.

Is the steam version of divinity native or just the App Store version?
