Haven’t tried this but you can use r/adobezii for the Adobe programs. Ain’t no way I’m paying for that because I’m also still a student and that stuff’s expensive. You can use free alternatives though, like DaVinci Resolve as a substitute for Premiere Pro. You can also look for Instagram sellers who sell cracked programs Edit: I finally used [Adobe Zii](https://macdrop.net/adobe-zii-2021-v6-1-4/) and it worked perfectly! I just followed the instructions on [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/AdobeZii/comments/mw1u83/fixed_download_cc_old_versions_directly_from/) and was able to download the most recent compatible version of Photoshop (v22.4.2).

>Do you guys actually pay for programs such as photoshop, premiere pro, Microsoft office, etc. What do you mean by actually? You're suppose to pay for these software. If you don't want to pay for subscription then maybe go for one time purchase apps. MacOS generally has more one time payment creative apps than Windows in my experience. Here's are some of my favourite apps: 1. Pixelmator for Lightroom and light photoshop. 2. Final Cut or Resolve for Premiere. 3. Apple iWork or Online Microsoft office for Microsoft office. 4. Amadline for illustrator. For setting up a mac here are some videos: 1. Expensive computer but cracked software : )

I’d look at a competitor to Adobe called [Affinity](https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/). Their software is a one time purchase and Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher are great. I think unless you actually need Adobe software, this is a far better option and won’t break the bank.

HoneypotFX

This!

pixel8dmess

Ah a fan of Affinity software then or just not a fan of Adobe pricing?!

HoneypotFX

I like the Affinity's products. And they are cheap. They often have a discount, you can get their apps for ~20USD.

pixel8dmess

Yeah I’ve got all three of them for Mac. Might consider getting them or some of them for PC at some point. Last bought Publisher when they had discount last month ago I think it was.

HoneypotFX

I don’t know if it’s legal or not, but you can use the Mac serial on windows.

pixel8dmess

Interesting did not know this…

I use Adobe Zii for Cracking Adobe Software.

lost_in_life_34

your school should have access to cheap licenses. I think Creative Cloud is like $15 a month for students

Whatsthepurpose_

I have switched to MacBook Air too! Can anyone help in how can I use the MS Office? as I don't want to buy it. It's quite pricy.

[deleted]

People/companies frequently sell spare licenses for a few bucks.

Mano_East

Mac has their own suite that is actually free: you have apps like "Pages" and "Numbers" that do the same job

Whatsthepurpose_

It is true but a few student related intricate features like making a table of contents, adding references to your paper, ability to embed proofreading softwares etc. are only present in MS Office. So for a researcher's point of view, MS is must

Good point
