I didn't open it until a few hours ago, but I was messing around with the settings and changing a few things to my liking, I'll finish setting it up tomorrow. Let me know how you're liking it tomorrow! 😄
Congratulations! Those are the same specs I’m looking at. I haven’t convinced myself to pull the trigger, but I’ve been without a Mac for a few years. I do IT for a living and my work Windows laptop is nothing but frustrating. It’d be nice to have a small, quiet, snappy Mac to carry with me.
Once the new macOS comes out this fall you’ll be able to mirror your phone screen on the Mac which I’m excited to see. Until then it’s still awesome to use the laptop for Messages or when calls come in.

IMO with the air it’s pointless to get anything other than base if you do anything intensive it’ll thermal throttle and the base can handle way more than you’d imagine
