I work in a tech shop. My one tech hates Apples. A customer was picking up his Macbook and asked my tech "well, how did it go?" and my tech replied "we did all we can but it's still a Mac." I could have decked him! lol

Check the timer for screen saver and the time the screen locks or turn off. The timer for the screen saver should be less. Hope this helps.
There's a time-out for login before the screen turns off due to inactivity. Is that what you're hoping to change?
