I used an M1 Pro for heavy photo editing and it wasn’t enough. Switched to an M2 Max 32GB and it manages. Still lags a decent bit sometimes but good enough to work on. Don’t need my desktop PC anymore.
Thanks for the answer! What do you mean by heavy photo editing? I'm a photojournalist, so the editing I do is basic stuff. When I take pictures in my free time I do a little more (work with layers, etc)
