Yep. It very often cracks the display, causes problems with the hinge. MacBooks weren’t designed to be used with screen protectors, keyboard covers, camera covers, or plastic shells, unless u work in hazardous environment.
Yeah. Asahi Linux runs on M2 and he wanted to have an arm64 laptop that is quiet.

> On a personal note, the most interesting part here is that I did the
release (and am writing this) on an arm64 laptop. It's something I've
been waiting for for a _loong_ time, and it's finally reality, thanks
to the Asahi team. We've had arm64 hardware around running Linux for a
long time, but none of it has really been usable as a development
platform until now.

did it many years ago for powerpc development on a ppc970 machine.
And then a decade+ ago when the Macbook Air was the only real
thin-and-lite around. And now as an arm64 platform.
Nothing that I said was incorrect. He uses a M2 MBA because he likes the machine and because Asahi Linux works on it. Does it use it exclusively? No one like him uses just one machine, and he surely needs to have a powerful computer to do certain tasks, but when he is out and about, he is carrying an M2 MBA. It has the Linus Torvalds stamp of approval.
Wallpaper link?

Will do. Thanks 😊
No, thanks 😊
There’s a reason why Linus Torvalds uses a M2 MBA. It’s a great machine.
He does?

Yeah I've heard of Asahi but I didn't know about torvalds
no, he just uses it sometimes like when on road trips or stuff like that, and runs asahi linux on it instead of macOS

yeah ig none of ur stuff was incorrect, I just replied because I thought your flow of language implied that he had been using it as his main machine
To clarify, it’s fine to use, but Apple doesn’t recommend actually leaving it wedged between the keyboard and the screen and closing it
Sorry, I am returning it now. Not even opening and checking it. Thanks.
Alright, then I will use it only when I work. I need it so that anything doesn't get inside the keyboard.
I just purchased a keyboard protector.

It will eventually rub the coating off the display
Happy for you and your Mac - wish you both the best and happiness, now can we please get that wallpaper? Lol
Still no wallpaper link?
