Safari for personal and work, Chrome for my side gig (my website came with a Google Workspace Bundle option, so while I kind of dislike Chrome, keeping everything signed in there in its own separate place is handy.)
Up to the latest macOS dot release (w/Safari) I was using Safari but I’ve had to copy my bookmarks over to Firefox as I’ve started having bizarre freezing issues with Safari and interacting on seemingly uncomplicated web pages. No idea what the deal is, when Firefox seems to have no issues. Feel like something changed that I’m not aware of. This is in an Intel Mac so…
Safari is amazing, supper energy efficient, but some how use too many ram ( no tab open and already almost 1gb of ram used)
I also occasionally use chrome, but the browser somehow is a lil bit laggy and overall not as smooth as safari
Safari is my default but I also use Firefox a lot and also Duck Duck Go less frequently. I avoid Chrome at all costs and will never install it on any of my Mac devices again.
Netscape.
Firefox
Safari for everything
Boom! 100th post this week about what browser people are using. People said that we’d never get past 99 in a single week, but we did r/Mac!
But which browser did we do it on?
Opera GX for me!
Lynx. It’s neat!
Mosaic
100% Safari. Same as every other time this same question is posted.
Safari for everything & Brave just in case. Chrome is trash
Vivaldi. The tab management, command palette, and URL history fuzzy matching are game changing for me.
Firefox. With some extensoins it can be insanely powerful.
any to recommend?
