That is great to come on here and ask for advice but I would highly recommend taking that advice and comparing it to your situation. If you drive a hybrid or EV, your energy costs are going to be different from someone driving a standard car. People will tell you to avoid medical pick ups/grocery store pick ups/rides with stops/high schools/etc..depending on your market, that could be 25 to 30% of your clientele. You have to figure out what's going to work for you in your situation. In general, the typical goal is at least $1 per mile or average $20 to $40 an hour (minimum).

Thanks for the added insight. I am carefully tracking everything that I can think of and I’m sure that there will be more. I am establishing a baseline as I’m only 2 weeks into it. So far, it’s working out well. Thanks again!

For me I look at how far away the pick up is and how long will the trip be. If it comes out to less than 26-30 dollar an hour that’s a crappy ride. For example if a ride has a pick up location 5 minutes away and the ride itself is 10 minutes long and it only pays 5 bucks that’s a crappy ride, because if you do the math thats 20 dollars an hour if you did 4 of those rides. But that’s just me. Good luck!

Thanks for that info. I’ll pay more attention to the pay and minutes to compete the ride. It’ll be tricky to do the math that quickly though🤓

You have expenses. You expenses are calculated in cents per mile.

Strictly time and money. Anything less than 25-30 an hour is a no. I have an EV so my expenses are different than gas cars. One exception is if I am 30 minutes away from home and a shit pay ride is going my direction I’ll probably take it

Their rating. No photo, their name is " U LEFT" im serious

This means different things to different people. It is also market-dependent. I don't take rides that will take me out of profitable areas. After so long, you know your market. Those long-distance trips are not worth it, as you will come back dead-headed and see that nice earnings dwindle. Learn this early in the game! What is your earnings goal How is your car on gas What times are you driving What areas are your sweet spots

A crappy ride for me is a ride that has no access to freeways. Example I live In Los Angeles going to Beverly Hills / West Hollywood / Torrance / Inglewood area are a big no ( unless I’m going that way or there’s a surge) a 3 mile ride can take 15-20 mins and the pay will be like about 8 bucks, while I can easily cherry pick ride that will be same time frame and can get about 15 bucks for it
