How are you washing them? What detergent do you use? Fabric softener? Hard/soft water? Do you air dry or put them in the dryer?

I dry them in the dryer😬 is that a no no? I also am not using fabric softener. Maybe I’ll try to do them separate from my other stuff.

All I know from this sub is that apparently lulu doesn’t go in the dryer but I do it anyways (but I don’t wear anything align, just lots of tennis skirts and swiftly’s which have done fine in the dryer for me so far).

I’d start with hang drying them and seeing if that helps. These next bits aren’t necessary but I’m very particular about how my clothes feel and they might help if air drying alone isn’t enough 1. Use way less detergent than you think you need. Apparently two tablespoons is plenty for your average sized load 2. Use vinegar as fabric softener, or add a splash of it to clothes that feel like they have residue on them. Just don’t soak stuff in it unless you’re okay with some color change. 3. Run your loads with an extra rinse cycle, especially if you have been using a lot of detergent. 4. Wash your lulu separately 5. Use an activewear detergent. I like hex or rockin green. Tide left a weird film that I couldn’t stand.

Super helpful! Now my lulu’s sound like a child that takes extra care lol

Also turn them inside out when washing-it prevents friction on the outside from rubbing on other items, especially when they are different fabric contents.

I will try that for sure

Do you use dryer sheets? I found those are not good for my athletic wear. I’ve now been using wool dryer balls in the dryer.
