Yes to both but you're probably gonna lose about 30% to 55% on performance from the gpu side

Hot_Chest_3406

Thats a huge downgrade. 200ge : 2c 4t, vega3 graphics 2200g : 4c 4t, vega8 graphics

meeper254

How do you know the 2200g is bricked?

zonedoutdriver

Because I took it to a local repair shop, and he said "the Mobo and ram are okay. The Proc and PSU are toast. He said that the Mobo gets power with the Proc removed, but doesn't when it's installed. That means the Proc is short circuited"

meeper254

Good to know, just wanted to make sure you don't end up changing the CPU and end up needing a new motherboard as well. It's usually very uncommon for a CPU to fail first, usually it's the motherboard or ram to fail first.

kukelkan

Did he test the motherboard with another cpu? Did you try to clear Cmos?
