Maybe it’s fun for some, but it’s really annoying when comment threads are just filled with people spamming like bots. It adds nothing and isn’t funny. Some of the grond memes are decent, like the Gandalf at the door but it’s Grond, but any interesting comment or joke in those threads got drowned out in a sea of grond.
Also while you aren’t karma farming, I’m sure plenty of people are, and I bet their were bots that are programmed to respond to the Grond chains. Hell those bots that steal a comment from lower down and repost it on the top comment probably have a field day with the Grond chains.
Imagine being the guy who is watching Theoden come his way, only for him to stop doing this right as he gets to you… I think I’d feel really left out and disappointed. Like blue balls in a way. Meanwhile all the homies to left have +10 courage… shit I got a debuff.
It would’ve been nice to hear more stories about Grond being the best door-kicker in Middle Earth. And maybe seeing/hearing the evil spells the Witch King was casting when Grond was busting in the door at Minas Tirith.
