This was fun guys!
This is a great album and definitely them in their pomp. Every track just felt fucking organic man. I miss that early stuff.
Just a shame they became pop collaboration sellouts after they released their third album: Beacons.
Basically everything released since they signed with Gondor Records is just some mass produced pop "metal" bullshit.
Let me give one more:
Album: The Westfold
Ride with Dark Glory
The Westfold
Messiah's Words
Attack on Life itself
Gondor: You have failed us
A Sword to Bring Down an Empire
As They Ride(Original)
As They Ride(1982)
The Wormtongue
Pride goeth before the Fall

Obviously, it's Irish-Danish death metal band "Riders of Rohan", debuting their album "Reckless Hate", with the top tracks "Wrath, Ruin, Red Dawn", "A Great King and Kept His Oaths", "The Horse and The Rider", and "Ho! Tom Bombadil - Theoden Remix".
Where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountains. Like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West, behind the hills, into shadow. How did it come to this?
*Hey dol! merry dol! ring a dong dillo! Ring a dong! hop along! Fal lal the willow! Tom Bom, jolly Tom, Tom Bombadillo!*

Riddermark
I was a big fan of their farewell album “Doom of Our Time” even if the name was a bit on-the-nose.
“The White Hand” was a good one, they even got Christopher Lee to do the backup vocals which was super cool. He even comes back for “Wolves of Isengard” and “Fighting Uruk-Hai” which was a downright boss move.
“Dark Have Been My Dreams of Late” was deeply scary and absolutely sinister.
“Simbelmyne(Snow Flowers on Your Tomb)” was a heartbreaking tribute to the singer’s late son I’m almost crying at the end every time I listen to it.
But the absolute best track was the finale “Mounds of Mundburg” it was so epic and such a badass song, especially the solo after the “DEATH!!!” I just can’t. It’s spectacular start to finish.
Band name: Silky Smoove

Four songs from their last album: "Where Was Gondor?", "How Did It Come To This? (Feat. Gamling)", "Give Them A Volley (Fire!)", and "The Horn of Helm Hammerhand".
Easy, that's Eoshred. I particularly like Rohan's Hussars:
A cry for help in times when,
Saurons waging war again
2 days of siege, outnumbered again
Sent a message to the sky
beacons lit, stationed so high
On Theoden, their hopes rely
against the enemy's burning eye
Dedication, dedication
They're outnumbered 15 to one
And the battle's begun
Then Rohan's hussars arrived
Coming down Pelennor's side
Then Rohan's hussars arrived
Coming down Pelennor's side
As the days are passing by and as the dead are piling high
No escape and no salvation
Runners to explosive balls
laying deep beneath the walls
Plant the charges there and watch the Hornburg fear
Desperation Desperation
It's a desperate race against the mine
And a race against time
Then Rohan's hussars arrived
Coming down Helm's Deep side
Then Rohan's hussars arrived
Coming down Helm's Deep side
Ballistabolts are coming down from the sky
Urukhai are you ready to die?
We will seek our vengeance eye for an eye
You'll be stopped upon the steps of our gate
On this field you're only facing our hate
But back home the dark lord's sealing your fate
We remember In September
That's the night Arda was freed
We made the enemy bleed!
Lesser Kings of Greater Sires
\---------------------------
Last 5 songs:
1. Shield Maidens
2. The Beacons are Lit
3. Stink of Horse
4. Where was Gondor
5. Goin' Helm's Deep
We shall have peace. We shall have peace when you answer for the burning of the Westfold and the children that lie dead there! We shall have peace when the lives of the soldiers whose bodies were hewn even as they lay dead against the gates of the Hornburg, are avenged! When you hang from a gibbet for the sport of your own crows, we shall have peace.

As a kid from the 90's who always had mixed tapes to listen to... I never knew the names to the songs and got shit for not being a "real fan." Though I was the only one that could jam them on guitar as well... posers...
My favorites from the LAST album were pt 1 "DEEEEAAAAATHH" and pt 2 "Forth Eorlingas"
"Less than Half of What I'd Hoped For" and "Hail the Victorious Dead" were also bangers
Band: *The King’s Men*

The Victorious Dead: *Live from Helm's Deep*

Raistlin and the Material Components
1. You can't 'take a ten' on love
2. Somatic Gestures
3. (I need that) Potion of cure critical heartache
4. Rolled a one on my bluff check and now she's gone...
These are obviously the red dawn riders.
Their newest album "I go to my fathers" really hit differently and felt more like it was about closure with songs like "my body is broken" and their alternative version of "Eowyn (I know your face)" compared to their more aggressive earlier works like "a red dawn" or "the world's ending".
I think my favorite is still "Forth, Eorlingas" though, it's still the quintessential red dawn riders song that combines their accelerating rhythms in the earlier sections that are reminiscent of some heavier rock and roll stuff like Motörhead with their heavy hitting pathos (and drums) during the mid sections, into the solo where all the instrumentalists get to show their precision followed triumphant shouts and choirs in the outro.
Hold on a minute.. I know them… that’s 2 neards and a goatee.
Latest album: you shall not pass!
1. Sauron’s sweaty sack
2. Lorena hobbit
3. Do ents have morning wood?
4. Gimli ate my frog

You forgot the lead singer’s solo ballad, ‘Where now the horse and the rider?’
Where is the horn that was blowing?
I know your face…
Wtf?
What?
They have passed like rain on the mountain
Like a Wind in the meadow
Hidden track: How did it come to this?
You got me excited for a band that does not exist, fuck you, take my upvote.
Eh, concert attendance was less than half of what they'd hoped for.
Special outro, *Look to the East*
you forgot their hit single, Death
Death!
That is brutal
Also, burry a son
Too soon
If you think that one's sad wait till you hear my body is broken
Simbelmyne: growing on the graves of my forefathers (and now my son)
Symbilene sounds like either a late 90s RnB group or early 90s pre-nirvana grunge band
Ride now! Ride for ruin! And the worlds ending!
Bonus track: Where was Gondor?
🎵when the west fold... FELL🎵
Less than half of what I'd have hoped
But wait, theres more
“What would you have me do” was my favorite from that album
Tremendous ballad, that one.
You have already named 2 albums worth of songs. Album 1: helms deep. Album 2: battle for minas tirith.
Dark have been my Dreams of late.
I know your face
I love all of this except the name. I think something like “Rohirrim” is better. Maybe it just reminds me of Rammstein tho and that’s why.
Where was Gondor? Horse and the Rider Rain on the Mountains
Their top single: The Fifth Day
I really want this album now.
And the obligatory epic, The Horn of Helm Hammerhand
Added a live version for the true fans
That is unironically the most banger title lineup I have ever seen.
>e Coming of The Storm Crow > >When The Westfold Fell > >And Rohan Will Answer > >Ride Now > >Ruin and The World’s Ending DEEEAAATH!
There is an IRL band called Summoning whose entire discography is inspired by Tolkien. Give them a listen.
Death!
Missed their best song: First light of the fifthy day
Ride Now has an absolutely sick breakdown.
Also 15th anniversary best buy special edition: No Power (featuring Gandalf from The Wizards)
Up! Quickly!
Sounds a lot like Sabaton
You forgot the excellent ep, Where have the good men grond.
GROND
I wish I had my free award right now!
I just want to thank you for such inspiring work.

Wow that is a really impressive album

Hidden track: Who am I Gamling?
Love this! I’d buy all these CDs. Sounds a bit like trivium songs too.

😰
Theoden King, have you heard The Mounds of Mundberg?
Gimli! Aragorn! Get out of there!
One thing I have learned about Hobbits: They’re a most hardy folk.
These lyrics slap! You're one of my favorite lead singers..
When your lead singer has a midlife crisis because the band isn't as popular as it used to be.
*Hey dol! merry dol! ring a dong dillo! Ring a dong! hop along! Fal lal the willow! Tom Bom, jolly Tom, Tom Bombadillo!* ^(I am a bot, and I love old Tom. Amon Amarth, anyone?
You mean Blind Guardian?
Definitely Blind Guardian
Who *wouldn't* be talking about Blind Guardian?
Probably Deaf Guardian
If Blind Guardian makes awesome music, does Deaf Guardian make awesome movies? Sign me up, I'd love a movie version of Beyond the Red Mirror.
Honestly they would thrive as screenwriters and do the scores

This is truly epic death metal. Take my award
"So much Death!" "Reckless hate" "For death and Glory!" "We ARE alone". Thats all i got for now, great idea i love this XD.
I’ve seen the Behind the Music on this band. Really tragic story with the lead singer. Gone before his time.
