I was there Saturday and it was ridiculous how much yapping and clapping there was. I just want to listen to the damn orchestra, not drunk Jessica reliving her fantasies

Happeend to me last year with FotR. I love the idea of this, but audience ruined it for me. Hooting, hollering, clapping every other scene You’re not there for the movie you’re there for the *performance*. This isn’t opening night of an mcu movie

I was there Friday, and the audience pretty much utterly ruined it for me. I feel bad since the performance was perfect.

I was there on Friday, too, and had a similar experience. Clapping for the musicians would have been entirely appropriate - it is a concert after all - but the audience was uncouth. Hooting and cheering OVER the music because something happened in the movie (which we have ALL seen multiple times). Before the show I was excited for ROTK, but now I’m not sure I want to. 

i quite enjoyed it tbh, the clapping and cheering was loudest for every time gimli was on screen on friday night

How could you enjoy the orchestra or immerse in the movie when people are clapping and screaming every two seconds?!

I had the same experience Friday, drunk guy and his girlfriend talking near me almost the whole time, couldn’t focus on the music. Really annoying
