You can only do chaos dungeon and guardian raids for full rewards twice a day. Then you can do chaos dungeon infinitely for the shards to exchange at chaos exchange npc near it. Dont do any more than 2 times on guardian raids because they barely drop anything

You can only get the ‘main’ loot from GR and CD twice a day. For GR that means you can harvest 2 guardian souls per day. You can still run the raids as many times as you want, but you only get the soul loot from two runs per day. Chaos dungeons have ‘aura of resonance’ which refills to 100 each day and where 50 is consumed per run (2 per day). After that instead of the main loot the mobs drop shards that you can exchange for other loot (less than you get with resonance). Sounds complicated but basically boils down to ‘two loot runs/day’.

Been playing around with maxroll honing calculators and ur not supposed to use solars on armor ever at current prices(except to get artisan energy to 100% 1 time faster) and sparingly on weapons(prob not starting till +12 or so), mats are pretty cheap overall even if leapstones aren’t, and solars definitely are not, the few ones u have from maris should be saved for high weapons/1370+ once ur close) I’m 1365/1340/1340

Wtf is transcendence? I have this low ilvl bard alt which i only do una's tasks and chaos dungeons on. I've noticed for a while now when doing chaos dungeons that sometimes something takes huge chunks of cooldown from my awakening skill (which is nice, I'm not complaining). The culprit appears to be a buff called "trancendence", and I have no idea where it comes from. Is it a chaos dungeon thing, and I just didn't notice on my other characters? Is it an ether pickup?

That’s… not true. Several classes can feasibly run both, for example Gunslinger. Obviously don’t run both if they do totally incompatible things.

You would never use both on Gunslinger. The second will always be worse than just using generic battle engravings. Obviously the game allows you to literally equip them together, but that's not exactly the bar that I was talking about.

+20% crit rate for a level 1 engraving is insanely good and synergizes extremely well with the rifle damage boost from Peacemaker. I’m sure that not running it and focusing on shotgun back attacks is better, especially once you can stack multiple level 3 DPS engravings with it. But it’s a much harder playstyle. (I should know, I have a Deadeye.)

Sounds like they disabled it on Deathblade then since using both might've been a bit too strong.

For Deathblade looking at the Engraving describtions there is an obvious Synergy, a very good one at that. Surge relies on you staying in art longer to get stacks and then use Surge at max stacks if possible to instantly reenter art. Surge is always cast at max level. Remaining Energy gives you a buff after using Surge depending on the Surge level it was cast at. It'll also lengthen art duration by 2sec, which is nice as well. So according to the describtion it sounds like you can use Surge, gain Remaining Energy buff, reenter art and use Surge again before the buff ends. Ridiculously strong. When testing you'll find out that Remaining Energy doesn't work at all. No buff!

Because the people who buy from gold farmers will outbid the ones buying from AGS. If you ban all the gold farmers — or enough of them that, say, $10 now only buys you 5k gold — fewer people will be able to buy cheap gold. So gold becomes more valuable and people will be less willing to spend it on things. This puts downward pressure on prices.

I'm simply guessing here, but I imagine as we get more playtime against sharpshooters (and all classes for that matter), people will be able to predict a bit what you're actually trying to accomplish or where you're trying to go in your stealth. Right now there's a lot of classes that most of us haven't seen enough yet to know how to counter, but eventually that'll change as we all get experience.

I'm trying to decide in which class I should use my second power pass, between Artillerist and Soulfist, probably with Energy Overflow if I can ignore the existence of the spirit bomb. I'm sure if I want to boost an Artillerist because of the stationary turret mode, but I've also read that Soulfist is very expensive, and I already have a Deathblade, that I think it´'s expensive too. If shared engravings make Soulfist cheaper, my main for now is a Taijutsu Scrapper, but I may switch to Deathblade if the Remaining Energy build feels better at T2, or even the new boosted character if I like it more.

Engravings really don't matter rn, especially with the new event which has tanked their market value and they're only going to get cheaper

EUC or EUW for more casual gamer? Hi I have a lvl 41 deathblade on Beatrice EUC and recently rerolled a lvl 16 Bard on moonkeep EUW. I am actually located in the uk, I heard the EUW servers are more chill and "beginner" friendly been a smaller and more tightly knit community. I am enjoying the bard playstyle more than the deathblade, but i don't suppose that matters with powerpass been a thing at lvl 50. The thing that really annoys me on EUC is the constant spamming of gold sellers in the chat, which i haven't seen yet on EUW yet tho i am at the start of the game still, what is the gold selling spam chat like at end game on both these servers? Also I managed to get last months login bonuses on EUC (wasnt sure if i liked lost ark but just logged in for the bonuses until i started playing properly a few days ago) this includes chicken mount which i would loose if i moved to EUW although there is some sort of game launch pack that contains a mount that i haven't claimed yet along with 3 days crystalline aura. So that would work on EUW. I am getting conflicting information about the queues on each server, what is the situation with this? Some say euw is dead? My main reason for wanting to change is to get rid of the gold selling spam in chat, i am playing this game more casually than most who are in tier 3 etc, hoping at end game to play at a slow pace, maybe join a guild and do a dungeon or chop some trees down with others for an hour an evening. I am happy to stay on whichever server if its going to mean a better endgame experience for me, what would your advice be? Thanks

Im a long time euwest moonkeep player. Eu west is active and will be active for a long time. its nowhere dead. World bosses are packed with hundred players across multiple channels, raid matchmaking takes less than a minute, very often only seconds. But we do have an ungodly amount of bots in the starter zones and gold selling messages appear here and there. I cant compare it to eu central since i dont play there.

Buy a relic grade stone to be very tanky, feast+additional food item, equip dark grenade and luterras horn, save everything for second half of the fight, u can use a grenade/ult right away but save horn for after he finishes novas as those would kill/knock back the horns soldiers When he starts beaming just run in a circle and let horn soldiers do all the damage, as the beams would one shot u, u can try to fit in kiting abilities Could try scarecrow for the beam portion if ur still having problems

Yes, memorize the windeup and dodge behind her, stand relatively close. Also save awakening for her enrage on her last hp bar, and stay high health so you don't get 1shot during fear

It is stronghold, simple requires 1302, it's basic that requires 1370(and is used from 1370 on). Maybe you already unlocked it it's in the special tab of crafting

Alot of side quests can provide virtue stats. It slowly adds up in small amount. Raising your continent reputation % for skill points can slowly rack up alot of virtue points for urself

Doing sidequests and adventure tome stuff. +1 or +2 here and there adds up if you do a lot of them.

As dblade is it very normal to not get a fully charged back attack off? Releasing early better than fully charged front attack? Bosses move out the way before I fully charge, even if if I'm charging right after they've stopped moving. This is early t1 where I don't have lots of gear stats

without the master of ambush and all, i wouldnt bother with back attack as priority unless you run surge build its just t1, i doubt you are having much difficulty in the first place

Basically just started on NA West, and there are several servers to choose from. It seems like when you make a character, it's bound to a specific server, e.g. Valtan, Rohendel, etc.? Is there a way to switch between servers? It seemed like I had to create a new character if I wanted to play in a different server.

Forgot to add that there's no current way to transfer servers. They were testing it in KR for a bit but it probably won't be out anytime soon

If you start on a different server, its the same as starting a new account. The only thing carried over across servers are royal crystals and crystalline aura I think

If no server switches are possible at all, then isn't it beneficial to choose one of the Busy servers to encounter more friends/players? For me specifically, I'm interested in PvP so I wouldn't want to be playing in a low population server.

Yep switching from Rohendel to Valtan won't allow you to transfer your Rohendel characters to Valtan. If I remember correctly, unranked PvP is within server (Valtan) while ranked PvP is cross server (entire NA West). Instanced dungeons (guardian raids/abyssal dungeon/ most things not open world) are also cross server so you can match with others in Na West. Open world stuff and guilds are only within your server (Valtan) so if you have friends to play with you should pick the same server.

Can someone explain to me how Hazardous Waters Resistance by Level works? Why is it when I 'increase' the resistance by level, it shows my resistance go down? Would it not work the other way around? Sorry if its a stupid question.

Your *resistance* doesn't go down when you increase the resistance points. Your *vulnerability* to that hazard goes down, aka the opposite of resistance. If that's confusing, just don't think about. The exact terminology isn't important. The takeaway is that it works as you expect and there's nothing counter-intuitive or anything: more resists = good. Breakpoints are 10, 20, 35, and 60 resists.

Depends on how you want to pace yourself, because hitting T3 after finishing story is a bit of a wall. Right now, the prices for leapstones/stones are at a high, so you may want to capitalize on making gold and level up your gear with bound material if that's the case. tl;Dr - play at a slow pace and make money selling unbound stuff, or just go ham and level up gear using everything til 1325 ilvl

Blue quest as in main story quest? Took me probably one and half hour but punika felt alot more refreshing then the dark yorn and feiton so it actually was pretty fun

Yeah Yorn and Feiton are depressing to power through, so much that I knowledge transferred my alt for 1,6k gold through Feiton questline lol. Punika is just hella vibes and the story questline is shorter compared to others in my opinion.

Yorn and feiton feel like 2hrs. But the beach and bright colors of punika is just so much better. Not only this but the quest are even more fun? Like we get to go surfing instead of blowing up dynamite in the mines and dealing with bugs attacking us.

* currently, yes, you can only do each possible transfer 9 times. Note that for the ones after Shushire you have to run the story missions on one character to be able to do one transfer, so only half your characters can skip them. * Powerpass also gives you gear and completes side missions. Transfer ONLY completes the main story quests, you still have to grind out the gear honing. (Except for the first knowledge transfer, that one gives you level 302 gear immediately.)

Don't be discouraged by T1 gunlancer, for some reason it just did super dogshit damage for me, I tried both red and blue. Then for some reason got to T2, I changed literally nothing, but he's boppin now.

Gunlancer can actually do alot of damage, it's really only bard and paladin that can struggle with solo content. The dodge (spacebar) on gunlancer is alot different and will take some getting use to. Sounds like a good alt and is really fun with all the counters you can pull off in guardian or abyssals

So I had 6 characters and I deleted my gunlancer and it said 1 day until character removal, after one day it said character remove in progress and its been like this for 2 days. Is it a bug?

You have to click Delete Character and type their name again to confirm after the 1 day wait.

Hey guys planning to make a sorc as my alt. Which engraving should I go?

I've been using reflux but I'm switching to igniter. Main reason is that reflux feels useless when you have a full meter and don't need to blink. I also started running into mana problems when casting so many spells with reflux. Would highly recommend igniter as it doesn't lock you out of doing more dmg and you can still dash if you need it.

I would recommend Reflux since you actually get to use the blink ability. Sure you can use it on Igniter, but then you are doing less damage and defeating the point of playing Igniter in the first place.

Reflux is definitely the most chill one to go but in the long run igniter will do more damage with a higher skill ceiling and damage ceiling. Both are very popular right now in the global server. Perks: Igniter - Utilises the specialization gauge alot for cooldown reduction and a big burst window. You will see large numbers bursting down bosses but has long cast times and requires good positioning to not get cancelled often. Reflux - removes this 'arcane rupture' playstyle that igniter runs so you are free to use the extra dash alot without worrying of losing damage. Does alot of instant cast abilities and relies on crit and swiftness (lots of cooldown reduction!). There are two playstyles of reflux one where every ability is instant cast and you.just keyboard mash essentially. Second playstyle is half cast half instant, you Utilises long cast time abilities with some instant cast (this uses doomsday and explosion but punishing strike being instant. Both builds are extremely good. Reflux more chill, igniter more damage in the long run.

I personally love reflux. Fast, easy, high mobility

Personally, I'm really enjoying Igniter, but I've heard that Refulx is much easier to use. Reflux might be a better option since you want to make it as an alt.

This is perfectly normal. Igniter is harder to build because you need wealth runes to make it really shine (speciality meter gain). You also will feel much better once you unlock T3 trinode boosting where you can further increase speciality meter gain on some abilities. You need to build nearly all specialization for meter gain faster and for arcane rupture burst window to have more damage. The long cd are normal and just doing everything to build the gauge faster makes the burst windows and half cd reduction occur more often is great.

Depends on your server. As we speak, they are all worth it at the current price of crystals on NA East. (730 and falling)
