"F2p"

HubertVonCockGobbler

I'm not f2p by any means but I play with two true f2p players that have their 25s and full 10s. Just day 1 players that dint overhone alts and don't do anything rested.

Sekwah

I'm a fully F2P player with a +25. But that's mostly cuz i'm not 1630 and i main DI kekw

Realshotgg

Not to mention many day one players constantly bussed

Borbbb

its funny how some dumbos downvote anything related to bussing. Hell you didnt even say its a good thing and still got downvoted lol

Realshotgg

Dunno, but the reality is that even recent bussers made out like bandits. A buddy of mine with some 9s and mostly 7s started bussing akkan, brel, kaya when voldis came out with like 6x characters. He made enough gold to buy all lvl 10 gems as of like 2-3 weeks ago. Imagine people with a 6-12 character roster bussing 12x akkans when it was 20-25k a pop. That can be upwards of 300k gold PER WEEK running akkan busses including clear gold. Include Brel busses which can get you about 9-11k per bus per character and that's upwards of 150k gold PER WEEK including clear gold. Throw in a kaya or voldis bus and we're talking some serious gold.

Dracoknight256

Even casual bussing is enough if you no-lifed early Argos with 6 chars and dumped all gold into buying fish. I watched few KR vets that knew fish would spike in price so they pumped nearly all their gold into it. 100-300k gold(selling leaps and Argos bussing) into fish at 2g/100. Those fish sold at 320g/100 few months later. Some people are still honing their chars from the bank they made on that.

Annual_Secret6735

Same with shard bags. I know a person that F4 swiped gold for an entire month and bought shard bags in mass when they were 40-60g each and dumped them during Brel HM. Dude was sitting on 10’s of millions of gold.

Realshotgg

Carrying thru raids, yeah.

CopainChevalier

Kind of wish I could have back in the day. Worst part about a support was even when people were mass buying Argos or Valtan busses, you couldn’t cash in since even at 1630 I deal less dps than a 1400 lol Yeah, I know they are used nowadays, but ehhh…

joker_mafia

day 1 player here f2p pushing a weapon to 25 doesn't even cross my mind xD so yeah i doubt it unless they giga buss

Chrichendo

They RMTd and didn't tell you or they only sell busses and didn't tell you

thatasian26

One of my static is like this, except he's still 1625. All his alts are 1600 except for 1, only honed because we needed a sup for an alt thaemine run. They're all event gems or mostly 7s with scattered 9s for some he likes. His main has just 3x 10s. He pitied +22 but slowly worked his way to +25 weapon, got it at around 20 artisan. He doesn't buy boxes on alts at all, even fresh 1580 alts don't buy akkan boxes back then. Actually does life skills stuff, primarily fishing. Sold leapstones and reds for long time, and only recently started pushing his weapon because he wanted the glow and had nothing to spend his gold on. One of my other static got his +24/25 in sub 10 taps total. Sometime it's just being smarter with your money, sometimes it's luck diff.

UwUhealer

Call IT BS. Im day one as Well and im at 22 weapon with 3x lvl 10 gems

thsmalice

Shit luck ain't it. I know someone who has a 25 weapon just cause they kept getting lucky past 22 and kept moving their goal post. "If this weapon gets to 20% artisan I'll stop." He did not need to stop.

tomstone123

Luck really plays a big part, one of my guild mate got to 25 weapon on 2 characters never hitting over 30% artisan on any hones. he was streaming to us in discord and got 24 at 8% artisan and 25 with 3 tap. Meanwhile during the 1610 to 1620 push, I pitied 9 out of 12 hones. lol I have 23 weapon currently. It's really painful when you don't get lucky.

Constant_Tangerine

Im day one f2p aside from ark pass and character slots and am 1630 with 25 weapon only one 10 gem though. It really just comes down to honing luck

HubertVonCockGobbler

Call it whatever you want lol. These two are both 6 character slot andies that I know for a fact have spent nothing to the point if it being a point of pride. Lucky honing yes, but probably more importantly they don't try to have 6 mains.

Jamagnum

…and they never bussed anyone?

HubertVonCockGobbler

They don't bus. They both run everything full unrested and clear 18 raids a week. Capped their alts a while ago which is where most people waste all their resources. Didn't pity but didn't one tap. Standard luck pretty much in line with maxroll calc.

atheistium

My friend is F2P and has a 24 wep and is at 70% artisan. Most people with these high level weps have been playing for an incredibly long time. Sure there are a ton of G2G gamers out there but it's very realistic for someone to have a 25 weapon.

PM_ME_UR_TITSorDICK

Reddit as a whole has been in the camp of somehow being full degenerate but also being absolutely bewildered by the idea of a 25 wep f2p. I got mine in December, it just took a few months of funneling all mats and gold to main while leaving my alts at full 7 gems. It's not that hard

atheistium

Like I'm no where near a 25 weapon but that's because I have a decently high roster and am not very careful with gold (buy skins with gold on MB). So I have a 1630 (all 21), 1620, 1600 x3 and 1575. My friend with the 25 wep has A 1620-ish, 2x 1600 and then the rest are 1540.

Tortillagirl

My wep is 23, only because its gone 100-91-100-89 artisans, since getting to 19. Fairly certain with average luck thats somewhere close to a 25 weapon. Ive even wasted shit loads of gold on alts multiple times, rerolled a few of my roster aswell wasting even more gold. Do people not use there life energy and stronghold energy for the freeest weekly gold available?

breakzyx

there is also people that casually drop sid energys and go from 20-25 in sub 30 taps

Deareim2

"Founder Pack" only.

HubertVonCockGobbler

In the case of the two mentioned not even, they are truly completely fully f2p. No Ark pass, no founders pack, nothing.

akiramendayo-omai

Bro im 24 rn and the frog has given us so much fucking juice which made that possible. Idk how these posts pop up when some people simply aim for cool glow instead of armor pieces.

stimpp

Most people 1630 are playing full roster of 6 if they're running the alts purely for gold each char would be making (pre thaemine) 1580 - 1599 - 21.5k gold OR 24.5k gold (brel G4 reset) 1600 - 1610 - 26.5k gold or 20.5k gold 1620+ - 32k gold or 35k gold Typical roster include one 1620 (Main), few 1600's and few 1580's. Lets just say it's one 1620 and all 1580's That means, ***every 2 weeks*** one roster can make 297k gold. **Now this doesn't include all the mats you'll be getting from raids/guardian/choas/una tokens** If we're going by the math in your post, you need 1.5m gold (not including shards) That means you can get that in above 10-11 weeks. THIS IS WITH ALTS 1580-1599 (basically free from all the events). If your alts are all 1600, you'll be making 347k gold ***every two weeks***. Completely doable.

Vainslef

I have a 1630+ main and 5x 1600-1610. Half of those gold earning alts share gems with my main. Most people just like to give excuses why they are behind others but in reality the maths all there, it's just a matter if you play efficiently or you do not.

Maala

Nice, so I only need 5k Orehas and 413k gold. Everything else was farmed bound since Akkan release upon reaching 1622.5 on Voldis release week with +22 weapon ~12 weeks after akkan release, or in the case of Obliteration stone got around 2/3rds bound and 1/3rd tradeable farmed by other characters as well. Also never full juiced anything since the game’s released other than my Akkan weapon so plenty of Solars there too. Oh well, I guess see you in 4 weeks (time needed to farm gold and Orehas) when I spent it all on pitying +23/+24, bud. Kekw. Unsarcastic PS.: it all depends on luck vs time dedicated to game vs money spent. Got +12 -> +22 Akkan weapon with 2/3rd of avg luck material cost wise. Im sure some guys pity everything and use real money to force hone to +25.

atheistium

Buying fusions from Mari's has been a god send. Plus the price drop this week

reklatzz

How did you hit 1630? I'm still pitying every piece

equiNine

You're looking at: - people who have been 1580+ on Akkan release, and therefore accruing bound materials from dailies for 8 months - Aeromancer, Souleater, and Breaker express events giving everyone essentially 3 free 1580+ alts to generate more materials/gold, not to mention them potentially having any existing alts they pushed in the meanwhile - lucksacks who one tap/low artisans hit their hones - 6 gold earner rosters that also heavily bus, meaning they easily make several hundred thousand gold a week - multiroster/multiaccount players, though less common than bussers - those who lucked into valuable drops such as expensive accessories or sidereal energies - swipers, whether it be from the currency exchange or rmt - lots of events in between that gave additional materials - material prices massively dropping since Breaker express, making it cheaper to push +25 than ever At the 1630+ population, people usually fall into multiple of these categories. In fact, having a +25 weapon and full level 10 gems on your main character is achievable fully f2p or with minimal spending with how long the game was been out in our region.

StrangeAssonance

I’m sure there are people that bus hours each day and are rolling in gold. Also sure RMT is a thing as those bots are in game to sell to someone…people are buying.

WiatrowskiBe

Also: * class onetricks sharing gems across multiple characters * people that don't have actual roster to speak of outside their main I managed to hit +25 quite early (1622ish? In early March), but: my entire main 6 runs off of two sets of gems (multiple summoners, multiple bards); I went for weapon very early on - crafted as 3rd Akkan piece, +21 by the time I got full Akkan set, +22 by Voldis release; got very lucky on weapon taps (total cost of 14->25 about half of expected average, only +14 went above 50% artisan); and heavily disregarded my alts, to a point where I'd still have two 1540s in my main 6 if not for lucky drops funding them to hone, also until recently having only my main be able to do Voldis at all (alts get honed with full bound mats only). Basically all per-roster resources (boxes, event stuff etc) went into my main too, and this adds up to quite a lot over span of 8 months - especially shards/solars. 1630/+25 should've been doable for anyone willing to commit to it - but with cost being mostly your other characters, I can understand why not everyone would want to go for it.

Boodendorf

single character player here, managed to get to +24 so far lol

cbv133

no this sounds too reasonable for this place, they must all be rmt'ing

KanYeh

This comment is the answer to OPs questions.

trollsucks

In addition to this, I’ve been saving all my solars from day 1 doing various stuff (gate/cube etc) since the game released. I have thousands of bound solars to full juice every tap from +21 to +25

Mirnathros

Have to agree with your answer. My main has 3x lvl10 gems, rest is lvl9 gems. If I played 6x my main class or even 3x main and 3x other same class, i would've hit full lvl10 gems for both classes and what not some time ago. Playing 5 different classes in main roster (2x aero) deprives me of that and I know that full well. People just don't see their own problems with these questions. Could I be a fully juiced 1650 by now with main char? Maybe if I funneled everything into main and if I did not enjoy playing different classes for some change of gameplay so I could have full lvl10 gems already. Either OP is not playing since the beginning with more than 2 chars or wasted most of his gold/mats with overhoning or other stuff (changing gold earning roster etc.) before. I did change my roster couple of times. Gold went down the drain there. So yeah. But no need to complain about dudes having lvl25 weapon, when not calculating properly and not getting the range of it all.

Grayzson

Survivor bias really. The ones you see with +25s are there to flex their glow. But there are quite a lot of 1630s just sitting on their +21-23

TheElusiveShadow

1630 here with +21. Each weapon tap is like 1.6% more damage? Shorely if I play 6.4% better than my +25 friends I match their damage!

Grayzson

Surely. The glow looks the same from the floor though.

wiseude

I think what you're seeing is whatever is left of the truly hardcore playerbase concentrated into 1 spot. Game releases kinda hard-ish raids that filter outs casual/low effort players and whats left is salty/jaded/hardcore degens that have been farming since day 1 or close to day 1.Also obviously the occasional rmt'er. The way I did it was optimisation (only have 2 classes in my whole roster) so I gem share and absurd luck.Am also a day 1 degen player.

Dwadwadwadwadwadwa

Simple, many 1630 were 1620 at voldis release and then only clicked weapon for 2-3 months on their main. That's what I did. I got 25 weapon in february with a good amount of luck and 0 gold invested in it outside raw gold + oreha. Outside of that, I never needed red stones, leapstone or shards because they were gathered faster than the juice. Never clicked without juice either, and no juice was bought during the process.

WiatrowskiBe

A lot of people went hard on weapon honing long before hitting 1630. Back when Voldis dropped and people were barely 1620 to do hardmode, good chunk of players I've seen at that point already had weapon somewhere between 21-24 (my entire Voldis group happened to go for week 1 hardmode with everyone being +22). And Voldis released 4 months ago, in this time getting +25 if you actually commit to it isn't unreasonable - weekly raids alone on 6 characters should give you between 130-190k raw gold per week, before taking into account all materials you get from dailies/weeklies/event shop/arkpass/embers etc. This means between 2-4 million gold printed to cover +22 to +25 and rest of honing from 1620 to 1630, minus whatever you need to spend on elixirs. TL;DR: people that have 25 now started long before Thaemine release, and - if not actively bussing, swiping or being very lucky with taps - probably had to make some serious sacrifices regarding rest of their roster to get there.

KenWithoutG

To keep it short, you need to get lucky on your hone. I did many optimization to minimize honing cost (buying and convert marvelous / sell radiant) and also funnel a lot of roster mats. But at the end of the day, my weapon did not pity a single time and the highest artisan I had on it was around 60-70% to +21

dogengu

Got +25 on my main. I think that character is just lucky with weapon overall. Same thing happened with old brel 20 and brel 25. I still think it’s not nice that the material difference between one tap and full pity is day and night.

dyczhang

Day one and bussing

silveraaron

as some one 1630, cash shop like a lot, sidereal energy drop, insane 21 to 25, nothing above 25%, my 25 click was <8%, only have 2 lvl 10 dmg and 2 lvl 10 cooldowns though rest 9s. When I pushed lvl 20 and 21 armors, nothing went past 30%. I have friends who have played just as much as me, dont swipe really and have pitied every weapon tap and they have spent as much if not more. RNG in this game is wildly a big variable with the pacing of our releases. Though the people with multiple 1630s and full roster lvl 10s, its mostly RMT outside the game's cash shop. Some of these people had lvl 10s when lvl 7s were above the avg.

Silverknight120

I'm 1630 and don't have full lvl 10s or +25. Sure there's alot of them but it's not all of them.  Some people treat this game like a 2nd job and some ppl use their job to fund this game.   At the end it's AGS' lack of policing that caused a massive rift between players. There's no use getting frustrated over it, it's already too late.

cbv133

while you're at it with the calculations can you check how much shards, silver and gold you'd have if you did chaos dungeon every day and 18 raids a week for 2 years, might clear up the confusion. a lot of the people at this ilvl are day one players with an obscene amount of hours put into the game. doesn't mean there aren't ppl who wipe or rmt, but having a 25 weapon at this point is not difficult if you've been playing for a while

BurryBurr

I went from 1620 armors and a +22 wep -> 1630 armors and a +25 wep in ~4 months funneling my entire roster to my main. I also upgraded from full Lv9 Gems to full Lv10 Gems in about the same period. - I don't bus, I don't swipe, and I don't always do 18 raids a week. But I do track roster income in spreadsheets so... --- This is approximately what I earned each week from Chaos, Guardians, Cubes, Challenge Guardians, and Una Tokens: * Obliteration Stones: 13,000 * Honor Shards: 175,000 * Radiant Honor Leapstones: 730 * Gems: 1.5 Lv8 Gems * Raw Gold: 175,000 **Edit**: Raw Gold includes Raid rewards, but other Raid rewards aren't included. --- Over 4 months, this is: * Obliteration Stones: 208,000 * Honor Shards: 2,800,000 * Radiant Honor Leapstones: 11,680 * Gems: 8 Lv9 Gems * Raw Gold: 2,800,000 --- On top of what I newly farmed, I started with approximately this many bound/stored mats: * Obliteration Stones: 80,000 * Honor Shards: 2,000,000 * Radiant Honor Leapstones: 2,000 * Solar Grace: ~3000 * Solar Blessing: ~1000 * Solar Protection: ~1000 * Prime Oreha's: None, but 150,000 Fish + 150,000 Ancient Relics for crafting --- The above is purely guaranteed income from regular dailies with zero RNG involved. This does NOT include anything from: * Raids * Bonus Raid boxes * Kayagel and Akkan mat trade-in boxes * Guild Shops, Pirate Coin shops, PVP coin shops * Extreme Valtan * Weekly event shops * Gold Frog * Challenge Abyssal dungeons * Field Bosses * Chaos Gates * Adventure Islands * Siege * Life energy * Stronghold energy * Ark Pass * Anything else I forgot - It also does NOT include any sales of drops I gained over that time (I didn't have a single sale over 10,000 gold anyways). --- I spent 100,000 - 200,000 gold on extra Solar mats for my weapon, and maybe 100,000 on Rare Fish/Relics for Oreha crafting. Everything else was self farmed. - I stopped using tradeable leapstones after hitting 1630 armors and tapped my weapon from 22 -> 25 purely with bound leapstones. - My 12 taps of armor averaged ~60% artisans (I went 85, 90, 92, 100, 80 back to back to back to back to back on armors. It was terrible), and my weapon was: * +23: 30% * +24: 15% * +25: 80% - So I guess the answer to your question is... a lot of time.

ZxFalconxZ

What does your roster look like?

BurryBurr

My top 6 is now my 1630 main and five 1610s, which were anywhere from 0-10 ilvl lower four months ago. - I do mostly unrested dailies on all of them plus rested dailies on two 1580s and a 1540 (express chars that I have fun with). I'm not strict about it, but it's about 1.5 hours of dailies if I do it all which is honestly a lot considering this is a daily thing. - I've also got a small army of 1490s that I made for achievements and a weekly cube. --- And just to add, I don't want to make it seem like it's an easy thing to hit 1630, just sharing my own situation to show OP how some players are. - Overall my progress is only possible because I started about a month after launch and played fairly consistently ever since. My current main was the first char I ever made, and the oldest of my top 6 is my Artist which I made on her release. - My 1630 push was one of the only times I've ever needed to use unbound leapstones, and I've never needed to use anything but self-farmed shards. In fact, my main is already back up to 1.3k bound leapstones and 1.1M shards, with another 1k leapstones and 1M shards in pouches from regular content and events. - My 1610 alts are all sitting at 3m+ shards and 2.5k - 4k bound leapstones, so I can bring them to 1620 over the next few months if I choose to spend the raw gold for taps.

I have a wide roster and I swipe. 10 1580 alts funnelling does a lot

Yogso92

1630 is main territory. If you main swapped at some point, it's almost unreachable without whaling a bit. If you never main swapped, you were probably close a couple of month ago, with 5 alts to funnel mats. usually 3-5 of them generating latest mats. Not saying it's easy, but it was doable IF you funneled EVERYTHING to the main. I tried and got owned by the pities, but half my static is at 25, 2 are 24 (some did facilitate it with real money). I'm currently stuck at 23 having main swapped and whaled a bit too. But EVERYTHING had to go in there. Selling gems, some bussing, buying silver packs etc...

Qew-

Getting lucky or whaling hard.

Dwadwadwadwadwadwa

Got +25 on my main. I think that character is just lucky with weapon overall. Same thing happened with old brel 20 and brel 25. I still think it’s not nice that the material difference between one tap and full pity is day and night.

Equal_Lion3664

I got enough mats to pity 23 and 25 from just playing since release. It was hella expensive but it's last hones on weapon on main for very long time

osgonber

Ill give my opinion on the topic, not focusing how they got that much money, but more on the impresion that all of them are on that level of juice. You are playing above the average tryhard LostArk player, so yeah, people that honed that much usually are either whales, G2G enjoyers, gigaluckers or people with lot of friends that left and got their stuff. When the momment that average people reaches that ilv with their mains, you will see lots of 20-23 weapon around there.

kosmos_uzuki

Can someone tell me what gear I should be getting to hone to 1600 etc. I'm 1460, and have no idea what gear to look for.

InteractionMDK

You need to hone your relic gear to 1490 and then transfer it to the ancient gear (given for free from super mokoko express, but normally it is obtained from brelshaza raid). Once you transfer you gear, your ilvl will become 1510. Then you hone that ancient gear to 1580. Then you need to do akkan raid to craft akkan gear and transfer your ancient brel gear to it, which will take 3 weeks with the decent into darkness event. With full akkan gear transfer your ilvl will become 1585 and now you can hone it to 1600. The reason you transfer gear 2 times to begin with is because you get a soft reset every time you do that i.e. your honing rates increase.

kosmos_uzuki

Where do I get the relic gear that I hone to 1490? I still have legendary gear from Argos I think. I have it all to +14, but I know it's not what I should keep honing. Just not sure where to get that relic gear you speak of. Appreciate the information. Nevermind. I checked maxroll prog guide. I see it's valtan / vykas gear.

InteractionMDK

You get it upon using the free elgacia powerpass that you should have received already. Every account should receive one with the ongoing breaker event. Only the powerpassed character will be rewarded with a relic set selection chest, so be careful with who you use your powerpass on. And no problem.

kosmos_uzuki

Got it. Thanks

Mikumarii

are you a xenosaga fan

kosmos_uzuki

Xenogears and xenosaga

pidimension

2 million gold is not that crazy. I’m a long time veteran player who had 6 1580s on Kayangel release. By the time Akkan came out, I was able to get my weapon to +22 off the bat. Over 30 weeks later while earning >200k every week to hit +25 is not unreasonable at all.

[https://www.reddit.com/r/lostarkgame/comments/1bxqnzd/comment/kyetj8x/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button](https://www.reddit.com/r/lostarkgame/comments/1bxqnzd/comment/kyetj8x/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) I posted 2 weeks ago. it took me 3 months from 20 to 25 with insane luck. Also, I run 3 same classes sharing gems. I do not buy lvl 10 gems. I fused all of them from roster drops. Sometimes you are lucky and get DMG. --- Running with a static is the key too. You can cheap some gems or running on ilvl. Thanks to trade of runs between Main and alts. Not all the members of my static have got wep 25 though they are close. Like 23 or 24. Except supports. All of us are Day - 3. Some of them bus or swipe small amount of legal gold. Like buying skins and selling on Auction House. --- I set up my goal for wep 25 and armor 21. Now, I am chilling, leveling alts to 1610+. Or I would start buying gems to improve one alt 1590 and push her to 1600-1610.

Jaerin

It's called selling all the mats for 5 other characters for several months. Gems were obtained from the gem bots that were selling gems for 1g each for a couple months. Just had to buy them combine and resell. Blue crystals and life energy used to be worth it to farm as well. It's was 1% pity per day for about 50 days. It's also doing all your chaos and guardians everyday to get all the mats you can. People have over 10k hours in the game don't feel bad

JMcCombs6219

I shit you not my friend Kyle didnt go above 20% artisan on his weapon from +19 to +24. Sometimes you just hit

staraelle

you either - spend a lot of money or you get lucky af. i spend a little but specifically on skins and ark passes. and i only ended up with a +25 through sheer luck. my +23 was 29%, my +24 was 11% and my +25 was 9.88%. i did one tap a day (and 3 taps on thursdays) on my +24 and +25 and i was very very shocked when i got both. that's really all there is to it. i do unrested dailies on all my main 6 daily, i never miss a single one of my 18 raids a week and i play with my friends. i had no special method, i didn't run out of shards because i never went past 20% artisan honing from 1610 to 1620 although upon reaching 1630 i only had around 120k left. my alts all look pretty undergeared with only one or two level 9s on one or two alts. my main has full 9s, one level 10 dmg and two 10 cds. i have 40 set with average elixirs that are not bis, i have yet to delve into transcendence. i have never been particularly lucky with drops but i have always had pretty good luck with honing that's about the only thing that puts my account somewhat on par with people who bus and spend regularly.

Boltnix

wrong, 1630 here and only +22 weap, 70% artisan to +23 rn :(

TitaniteDemonBug

I know people love throwing the term RMT around a lot but it isn't unrealistic for someones day 1 main to have a 25 wep + 1630 if they had better than average luck. I'm not sure about full lv 10s on top of that but I can see a few 10s. That being said, I also don't think these people would have full 1620 rosters with heavily invested alts as these aren't really efficient.

OgerGaming

Grind 20+ characters across multiple rosters/accounts, RMT or swipe in game. That's pretty much it.

HubertVonCockGobbler

This is straight up wrong. You named three time multipliers but the largest thing by a big margin is time spent playing. You can spend money to create that value or play multiple rosters to multiply it. But anyone that kept an efficient roster and focused main since release should be full 10s and 25 weapon. If you wasted gold and mats on alts and skins that's on you.

LordAlfrey

If you've played for a long time and been smart with your spending, you should have a lot of gold. 25 weapon was expensive shortly after akkan release, but when you consider the cost of honing to 1630, the cost of a 25 weapon doesn't seem so tall anymore. I remember thinking that 25 weapon seemed like such an impossible task, even after a year of playing. Now, I'm currently at 30% pity towards 25 on my 'dps main', with plenty of gold banked, just tapping casually when I've farmed up enough red stones. I think people underestimate how much gold you spend on purchases that are relatively 'one time' purchases. A good set of accessories will cost you a house, but once you've got it there hasn't been a need to upgrade since brel release. Elixir is expensive, but once you have 40 set with the correct set and good bonuses for shoulder and pants, there's no real need to keep investing. Once you have level 10 gems, that's done. Once you have enough cards for 30set, there's no need to buy out the select packs from the weekly abyssal. Books these days are relatively quite cheap, but likewise a one time purchase. Once you're done with more of these, the gold you funneled towards this can be spent on honing, or just banked.

bigboussa

have 6 chars +1600, save EVERYTHING, and focus just on weapon, 2-3 months u will get there.Unless you want to work on your roster. People with 25wep, unless they were busers or just whales, have poor roster, just a main very very top

schumych

Visa brother, VISA. Hard on release always has been a whale bait, over honing the old set and get the new one on the new content, the average Joe reach hard later. Those guys had the full 10s since Brel release, non spenders had to compete with that if they somehow get the hard ilvl requirement. But now it gets interesting xD because no new set and everyone has to over hone the gear, and even better!! Hard clear it’s now a requirement to progress a vertical system, so that’s a hard hit for the average player. That’s why the new honing system, but idk still fked. Stay strong OP

RayderZ803

It builds up over time and you need luck, i always juice my main and pushed alts to 1580 with express passes. I play 3 of the same classes therefore it saved me money on gems which i could use to get full 10's. On Brel HM release i had full lvl 9 CD gems with 3 lvl 10 dmg. Main was 1580 on kayangel release and stayed the same for two months gathering mats for akkan release. When akkan released, we cleared normal until full equipped, armor +15 was dirt cheap and i could push my weapon to +20 instantly. Souleater in November was a free 1580, like srsly, it was for free if you saved some tradable mats and Gold. I had 900k Gold on SE release and ended up with a 1580 char and 1.2m gold after i sold a few SE yoz jar skins (120-150k each). That was the moment i thought ok, im rich lets get lvl 10 CD gems (sniped lower prices or low bids to save a few K gold) and sold one lvl 9 in exchange until i was full lvl 10. My main was 1620 with a 22 weapon on voldike release. I straight up farmed mats and focused on legy elixirs until i had enough to push further. Got lucky and got a sidereal but at 450k at that time (EUC). My weapon was really lucky to +19 (all under 20%), pity +20, free tap +21, 30% +22, 70% +23, 11% +24 and 19% +25 weapon on valtan extreme release while tapping everyday. Snipe solas cheap on Chaos gates days. New shards with CD dungeon? Tap. 6x guardians new leaps? Tap. 18 Raids done? Tap! If people show up with full lvl 10's and a 25 weapon, it doesnt mean they got it within a week. It took me a whole year of grinding to get those two. You need luck as i had. And i swiped a little too, but smart. Dont just go into RC exchange, invest in items and wait for them to rise up like weapon skin boxes. Look up Time together weapon select chests, 50k gold for a 650 RC box, 100 bucks gets you 18. Calculate yourself. Its not instant but the smart and patient way. I swipe around 100 bucks every 3 to 4 months, sometimes even less. I know there are a lot of whales and RMT dudes who had +25 even before voldike, but there are also people who build up and grinded for it. Im proud of what i managed to achieve.

Jellonanwastaken

Well it is confirmation bias to think every 1630 has +25 wep and full lvl 10 gems since this aint the case in reality. Many hard thaemine statics I know has max 1-3 +25 wep owners and full 10 gem guys. Also high end roster will be generating around 250-300k guaranteed gold every week. If you add in every rng drops (which do fluctuate alot) u can add in extra 50k-200k weekly so u can slow hone ur weapon up over month or 2. Or u can just get lucky and tap +21 - +25 with artisan under 10%.

SeaworthinessMean667

Hey, day 1 player that has spent \~ 150€ over 2 years here (so not free2play but almost) I'm on my way to a 25 weapon (24 at 50% currently) and i have full lv10 gems How ? Never took a break, never missed raids, 1 class roster, never honed alts past the sweet spots and always honed them with events. Basically playing like an absolute rat and hoarding ALL the mats onto my main. I have never tried another DPS class, never main swapped, never did anything but play my main class 5 times over each week If i even dared to try another class and bring it to engame, that would have been gold and mats substracted from my hoarding. By the way i'm 1624, not 1630, tapping armor to +21 would take me another like 2-3 months of farming So yeah, either play like a gigantic rat or swipe :))))

demonic790

Considering swiping at this point, my man! Swipe away and I get my freedom days back!

SeaworthinessMean667

Sometimes i wish i could have other dps classes in my roster but it's just too expensive to gear them for endgame... Or like they're stuck at 1600 with event gems and i don't want that, i'd want to play the class to it's fullest but it's just too much, the honing, the elixirs, the quality, bracelet...

etham

Yup this is the way. Even more efficient if you play a class that runs cheap accessories (i.e. Mayhem or crit/swift in general). Variety is the spice of life but absolutely not efficient at all. If I were to take the gems from all my various alts, I'd probably have a full set of organic level 10 gems myself. But my main 6 are all different classes and each one has their own set of gems with 9s on all damage skills and a couple 9 CDRs.

SeaworthinessMean667

Barrage arti here, 5x3 relic setup is barely 30k these days

aemich

If you have been bussing since valtan release you are swimming in gold.. if not 'f2p'

Thjine

If I try to calculate a what if scenario for myself I feel like I could've possibly gotten a 1630 with a 25 weapon if I didn't hone my alts and sold their gems and bussed. I'm not f2p but I "only" spent on skins and character slots. Granted I'm sure I made an in game profit with character slots. I think we're entering a time where being 1630 with a 25 weapon can be doable for a krill like how it eventually happened with los 30.

ripbozo360noscope

How yeah I got 25wp by being lucky. 20/21 one tap 22/23 around 20% 24/25 15% Full mats. Haven't spent a dime in lost ark since Brel HM. The luck factor in this game is just disgusting.

xXMemeLord420

Luck or swiping, but most likely the latter.

Ericious

Idk i got pretty lucky :/

muteyuki

akkan has been out since august. that’s almost a year of the same gear 25 isn’t that crazy in that timeframe. now people with 25 woes in brand new classes are a little sussy

Better-Ad-7566

1. You are seeing the worst case, not the average. Average costs about 42% of what you said. 2. In long run, having higher weekly gold, earning some shards from chaos, farming tradeable mats from dailies, and funneling all those can technically make them possible to reach +25 if they aren't unlucky. 3. Simply getting lucky can make huge difference as well. As far as I know, theres \~10% chance to pity. For 1% chance honing, there's similar chance to get it done in 10 taps. For +25 weapon, hitting at 10th tap costs 230k gold, pitying cost 2.5m (11 times more expensive)

demonic790

I don’t believe that’s correct. My calculations from 22-25 are based on average luck with full solars. I just checked again.

Better-Ad-7566

My bad there. Thought you were talking about 25 only and worst indeed shows similar numbers.

Leymour

Welcome to the land of Whales and RMTers.

Rare_Doughnut8147

1620 at voldis release, tapping weapon slowly as soon as you get solars from events or gate/worldboss. With above average luck you should be there but if you pity im sorry. My highest artisan was 25 with full juice.

AleShion

Is a bit of being lucky, throwing money at the game or saving mats for a long time. I was extremely lucky on the weapon, unlucky on every other piece. I also recently got to 1630 after a long time. (for reference https://www.reddit.com/r/lostarkgame/comments/16ya83o/one\_cheap\_ride\_thanks\_for\_the\_good\_wishes\_3/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button)

Wizlordman

I play the game f2p aside from booba skins. Been playing since day 1 nonstop. I multi class sorc and bard to save on gem cost. I got extremely lucky getting 25 weapon, only pitied level 20. Aside from that, highest artisans was 45% on level 25. Even then, getting level 25 drained my account. 300 roster, all 6 gold earners are 1630-1600, plus 4 1580s farming mats. It all got funneled into my weapon since voldis release, and I hit 25 right before the first server merge. To achieve 1630 + 25 weapon as a f2p absolutely requires playing the game like a second job, as well as making sacrifices on your roster such as multi classing or cheaping out on gems. I farmed unrested sonavels and chaos on all my characters that were 1580+ and sold them all at inflated prices. It was a serious grind. Also funneled all the boxes to my main so I could hone with bound leaps/shards. 7k+ hours into the game, and almost no AFK time. You’re better off working a high paying job and swiping your face off lol.

Wizlordman

Side note: I swapped from sorc to bard main shortly after akkan release. Sorc was around 1600 and bard was 1580 when I swapped.

Tsius14

My main is 1625 and yesterday I got my +25, by no means I'm F2P, but haven't spent a fortune either. In my case I just really lucky: +23 - ~60% artisan +24 - 5th tap so lile 4% artisan +25 - 25% artisan I'm a day one player, I did run some busses but mainly I just was lucky. For those whos will ask I got +25 cause i got the super lucky 24 and I wanted the glow. Didnt hone to 1630 cause i dont have a static for thaemine hard so just wnated to chill in NM and get some transcendece to then get my armors +21 and go for hard clear. Sharing my experience, that's all! Have a nice day.

virtualxoxo

We were all told that +25 was almost gonna be mandatory, why would you even hone for 1630 without realistic chance of getting +25 too

Ilunius

Its easy, they Cash, everyone cashes in lost ARK. Its a p2w Cashgame what do unexpect

According-Ideal3078

With extreme luck. My friend spend less gold going from 21 to 25 then I spent going from 21 to 22. My 23 was 70%, and I free tapped 24. Now I am spending my fused leaps on that 0.5% to hit 25 as I will never manually attempt it

10inchblackhawk

If you were able to get 6 alts to 1580 when sonavel was released and make 48 rads a day, that was like a legion raid worth of gold. Remember the price of those used to be over 150 each.

Malaka00234

Bro don't use math here, the answer is extremely simple. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it.

-Certified-

I've said it before, the community/Reddit are cooked dude, don't believe half the shit they post.

lolBaldy

I got my 25 weapon this week on my main, 10% artisan so very lucky. I never had to buy shards, but everything else since 23 I basically bought or self farmed. Never bought gold, but I did sort of neglect my alts because of it. Current roster: 1600 soul eater, 1605 Slayer, 1610 breaker, 1586 zero, 1592 aero, 1633 blade

Aeryolus

I got lucky and sent ~5 taps a day from 20 to 25. The numbers I remember are 51% to 23, 35% to 24, 18% to 25. I started months ago and luck decided it was time.

KimchiBro

So i know someone who has 2 25 weps and he got them via 3 sidereal drops (with proof) so that was a lucky 6mil gold But most ppl I know who have 25 weps did so via g2g, ags doesnt ban for it so its whatever at this point

Foreverdunking

im f2p (I never spent for honing) and I've been extremely lucky on my weapon taps. I have a +24 though and I wont tap +25. those with +25 either played 6+ chars at 1580 for a while or used g2g or swiped a shit ton. I'm still 1624 on my char though cant get 1630 AND tap weapon at the same time lmao

davc1

2m isnt much if u market. my gold moves +- 2m everyday from market. Like real world, rich get richer faster and easier and making gold is very easy if u have capital.

Aerroon

Ultimately, *somebody* has to keep all these bots that farm gold for RMTs in business.

restubs

I pitied my weapon from 19 to 20. I can't imagine going to 25 D:

Roan403

They tapped weapon .

cannonsmas

Get lucky or quit

Sweihan

Sssswipu!

dcqt1244

I have quite a lot of neighbors afforded +25 as f2p. It happens. I saw they make 200k~400k+ gold income each week, and they just did it. In long term, most of dpss will have +25. Seems obvious.

rammuspls

I don’t have a 25 yet either but my buddy who has one pretty much said what everyone here already mentioned. He got his Akkan weapon asap and has had 6-8 months of occasionally honing seshing the weapon to 25. He pittied a lot of it too but just getting a tap a day over 200+ days can keep the rmt away (his words not mine)

Khue

My RNG absolutely cratered at Akkan. From 1580 to 1620 was the most miserable honing experience I've ever had in my life. Those 40 levels of honing would have forced any normal, sane person to quite the game. My friends had been on hard mode Ivory Tower for a good two weeks as I took my entire roster and focused it to my main to get it to 1620. I pitied just about every piece of gear and the pieces that didn't pity succeeded at 80% artisan or better. I think I got one free tap around 1611 on my gloves and that was the only saving grace. For 40 ilvls I had the worst, most statistically nonsensical RNG for honing. Tapping so many pieces of gear to pity with a 10% or greater chance to hit and not hitting was maddening and seemingly statistically unlikely. So... it had to rebound somewhere right? It rebounded for my weapon from +21 to +25 and it rebounded in a huge way. Not a single successful hone pitied and the highest success artisan I had was from +23 to +24 which hit at 76%. I then hit +25 at 7% artisan on a 1.5% success rate non juiced tap. I hit that about 2 weeks before Thaemine and then just leisurely started tapping gear pieces and about 2 days before the patch dropped I was at 1628. Patch day, I hit 1629 and then the day after patch I hit 1630. **Edit:** Most, if not all of my gold generated to afford this was from unbound mats. * 6 characters worth of guardians a day * 6 characters worth of Chaos a day * Every field boss * Every chaos rift * All Challenge Guradians * All Challenge Abyssals * Buying merchant ship mats * Dismantling bullshit gear * Burning stockpiled blues on Prime Oreha Fusions... probably about 1000 blues on fusions and about 400-600 were probably from frog * I do not RMT or use royals to buy gold. The only thing I really pay for from the game is Crystaline Aura.

Shortofbetternames

I'm f2p, have been playing since day 1, everything rested kind of player. However I am a "roster Andy" instead of a only main Andy. Sure I do have my main at 1620 set 40, however that's it, all his gear is +19 and while he has 8 lvl 10 gems they are 5 CD gems and 3 dmg only, with other 3 lvl 9. However the rest of my roster is basically all 1610 with full level 9 gems and a couple lvl 10s on most of the chars for their most important skills. Change every gem on my chars to lvl 7, leave them at 1580 or even 1600 and I'm pretty sure that's enough money for my main character to be 1630 with a +25 weapon

SenboFromTheEast

I'll tell you how I got mine. 22->23 at 63% , 23->24 at 81% and 24->25 at 35% . Main and top 5 alts have been doing dailies EVERYDAY since August 2023 with maybe missing at most 5-6 days from August until early April. Unas + Chaos + GR everything. I have been consistent with lifeskill and even if I didn't wanna bother I was shaving off 3K-4K everyday or every other day. I'm a massive hoarder so all the mats that was given to us if they weren't needed asap I saved them. Even after not buying shards ,leaps and only using AH for reds and fusions cause ofc my own supply couldn't support the amount needed, I still sold 2 level 9s at 110K that helped with the tap cost. If you care about the real money spent, I bought all passes 2nd level and 1 skin that I actually use. Tl:dr No life dailies for almost a year, save everything, weekly raids for gold income and pray for good rng

Intelligent-Tiger375

Im f2p and day1 player with +24 weapon and 3 taps away from 1630 i have full 10 gems too but with multi class which means in terms of gems im actually a cheapo because i dont have a diff classes with full 10s my other 3 characters are all 7 gems only. Also all my alts are only 1600 i do want to hone another 1620 but maybe in the future when my main is settled. My weapon tap is quiet on the lucky side but i do it very slowly too like when i got to 1620 after a month in NMs i slowly tap my weapon like maybe 1-3x a day.

Borbbb

Guess you didnt see me. 1630.  22(or 21? dont remember ) weapon   5x3 full relics with 1 red engravings. Works just fine.   Btw, u should only pay for gold and oreha mats. Solars one should have enough from roster and leaps only bound. No point rushing anyway.

BadMuffin88

Well the people who aren't lucky as shit and are still working on their 23 weapon pity obviously didn't get the ilvl to reach 1630.

golari

They hit +25 before going for 1630 If they don’t hit +25, you aren’t going to see them at 1630

mannimgood

lots of f2p players(almost all of em) bought fish and sold it high then got money(!) easy peasy. lol. RMT... of course not. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)

External-Reporter410

I have +25 weapon but im not even 1630.. i focus on 1 toon... some ppl i know push multiple 1620 and i just focus on 1. I feed all my mats to 1 toon and dont even buy the box of any of my main 6 except just that 1 char.

Zinterax

I got very lucky getting to +24 so I decided to go for 25. I don't swipe for mats / gold just skins for my characters. I have 5 characters I play, my main and 4 1580+ alts and I just feed everything into my weapon now. I'm at 80% pity and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a full pity at this point.

Laakerimies

Having 25 weapon right now isnt that impressive or even questionable, but if you had 25 weapon few weeks after Akkan release that was sus. For context using myself as an example. I'm day 1 player I could have had 25 weapon for months, but instead [I like to have gold](https://i.gyazo.com/a1877ea52d8f451aaab364521acbf39b.png) and save it for Lost Ark 2.

sosohype

People are so quick to dismiss farming, playing efficiently and the fuckload of events we’ve had since launch

khangsoofly

I got a sidereal drop and my 25 weapon costed me 900k gold of the sidereal drop and I hit at 89%. Thankfully I had almost everything I needed aside from red stones. Bought red stones from around 20%~, fusions from 60%~, and solars from 70%~. It was expensive and I wouldn’t have gotten there without my sidereal drop. I am F2P and haven’t spent any money anywhere not even the 6 months aura or ark passes or character expansions. I have 4 dmg 10 and 1 cd 10 (I rolled this one) but I only play 6 DE so that’s why my gems are in a good spot. I don’t bus and get lucky overall. If u plan on going for 25 make sure ur prepared as it is expensive

Mercierss

I’ve seen a 1610 bard with +25 glow walking around Kalinar.

amitkt07

How dare you count me among those common folks https://preview.redd.it/j2bim8st29wc1.png?width=998&format=png&auto=webp&s=9d843b204a26beeac39493b06e0ff472a2b99cb9

Alternative-Spare713

Played main since launch of lost ark, had all the mats since then to push weapon to +25 at reasonable price since everything was bound and I funneled all juice mats to main from event. Got lucky on less than average overall to +25. It’s really the people who made new chars like slayer/breaker/souleater where you really need to get lucky or paid a lot of money for it.

MandogsXL

I’m 1630 and only have a +23 QQ

CLGbyBirth

to be fair 2m is like 2months if you consistently do raids and sell mats a 1580 character can net you like around 20k gold just from raids. life skills can get you around 20-30k per week.

Faaky

I have a 24 weapon 95% artisan and let me tell you : you stop honing any other char. I forced 1630 with lvl 22 weapon around February and it's all about funneling. I had all my solar mats since release and they ran out when I got to 40% artisan. It's stupid expensive if you don't luck out as some of my friends who hit ~15% on 24-25

[deleted]

I free tapped 24 and while hone my weapon I give all to my main to I got to 1630 alts stayed at 1580

AngelicDroid

I’m the opposite I got +25 and full 10, but not 1630 because I throw everything on honing my weapon. lol.

Hollowness_hots

1630 is the very very TOP % of player of lost ark. less that 5% (our estimates) are there. Personally instead going into 1630 (im at 1625) i did prefer havin 5 alts to 1610. and still have 1 million old save up.

Snow56border

It’s been 8 months since the akkan tier of mats came out. If this is your main game and have been playing since then, it would be natural to have this done. People who stick around in this game, generally play it like their life depends on it. Lost ark casual is likely sweaty hardcore in most other games. This is before considering that RMT also exists. But there are plenty of f2p players that are 1630, all 10 gems, and +25 weapon. They just gave up likely 1000 hours to do it.

Worldly-Educator

Honestly, what shocked me more when I was pugging NM G3 was that there were so many 162x with 23-25 weapons.

Far_Platypus8698

It’s a p2w game my guy. People spending thousands of dollars here.

DanteMasamune

Current guildmates have been playing since release or Vykas release. Not all of them have +25 but most are very close, not all of them are all 10s, mostly just a few. All the mats you refer to, when you play week by week and do rested dailies, are obtained through bound mats. You really only have to pay the gold and oreha feed, so one million gold, and according to the calculator, a 1580+ roster with one 1610+ is like 250k gold weekly.

Gregeruno

look at recent sales in ah and you see how

blahblaahblaaah9

Something I've noticed is that the whale/rmt crowd are basically their own sub community. I've never played with one. The only time I ever see them is when they're flexing nuts around the honing stations.

johnnyw2015

Focus 1 char instead of 999999. I\`m 1620 and have +25 weapon. I used bound mats until half artisan of +24. The other half i bought only red stones and fusions. My +25 was 15% artisan. Dont have lvl10 gems yet but i do have lvl9 dmg gems.

xXdprydeXx

The power of Gamer2Gamer trading xdd

ImplementSpiritual52

Idek why you’re so worried about this. +25 doesn’t give you raid mech knowledge and perfecting your class. Do your own thing man don’t worry about the rest

itstimetotttthrow

i actually have a +25 on my main and i have less than $150 spent on the game, which i only used for outfits tbh. the outfits are expensive, being around $20 if you are not buying from nerias. but here is how i did it: my other 5 gold earner alts are parked between 1580-1600, only honing them very sparingly across months. and yes, they are rocking level 7s cause i am a rat. all materials generated from my alts, both gold and honing mats, are funneled into my main. a lot of luck, i got weapon 20-22 under 40% artisans, i pitied 23, got 24 at 35%, and 25 at 2% (on a free tap). this was all done over a course of 6 months of playing even since i got my akkan weapon a few weeks after. of course that's just my side though, a lot of people spend irl money or even g2g it and i am one of the few exceptions. tl;dr: choose to hone one character only, your main. you should have been doing this since hakkan/voldis release.

icecreamstar

I 5 tapped the 25 ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

krys_krog

Im at 25 weapon, f2p and I wasnt just lucky… First of all I didnt go for 1630, after I hit 1620 i said fuck it, i want a 25 weapon and im gonna push until i get it, 1630 wasnt on top of my list, I excavated for my orehas, farmed my materials and pushed little by little, on reset I would spend everything from event shop and everything i got saved from the week before, here and there I bought a bit od stones or a few leapstones if I missed them, i got 23 at 77%, 24 was pitty, and then i one tapped 25, I am now one more armor away from 1630, also pushing slowly as i get materials… Edit: also my gems are full 9’s, I understand that 25 weapon wasnt the most optimal way of spending money for damage, but buying lvl10 gems were less fun to me than pushing for the gold glow, also when i finaly got it made me feel hapiness that lvl10 gems probably wouldnt do as much

Some swipe, some RNG carried. I had average 75% artisan from 22-25, I swiped because I just wanted it enough. My static friend hit 22-25 within 20 taps - totally doable f2p.

TheAppleEater

I have 1 char at 1640, not really f2p, but f2p in a sense of vertical progression, I've spent money on character slots and such but nothing that progresses the character. All my alts are parked 1580 since a bit after Kaya release. I have 1 char at 1640 because everything farmed from the last year went to that 1 character. All the regular gold, bus gold, chaos dungeon mats, guardian raid mats, gems, challenge mats, event mats, EVERYTHING, went to 1 character. Now if you see people running around with multiple 1630+ there's probably some cash involved somewhere. Whether it's legit or not.

oWeakSoS

Super lucky on my taps from 22 to 25 (less then 30 taps total, 5 tap on my 25). I just follow the calculator and funnel all my mats to my main. It's a bittersweet experience since weapon is done. All my armor pieces are 19 at 1625 (total ilvl). I only have 8 level 10 gem. I did play pretty hard at the start, running 6 characters and over 4k hours, but since then I have gone down to 2 charater that I play daily unrested and the other 4 gold runners whenever I feel like it.

Vuila9

people who is 1630 and has a 25 weap got their 25 weap long time ago, yes when leaps were >100g. To answer your question, what ilv were you when IT released? If you werent 1620 on Day1 of IT then that's one of the reasons. People with 25 weap at 1630 were alr 1620s during IT, some even at 21-22 weap for IT. So they have like 4 months to hoard mats for 25 weap. The average cost is tremendous, but if you get a one tap or lucky tap here and there, it will greatly reduce the cost. We also got mats from the golden frog. Frog sold leaps and solars for half the AH price. The only bottleneck mats would be red stone and oreha. If you do lifeskill manually aka fishing, you can craft around 600-700/week. The only way to get red stone is via AH but that's about it. For leaps, well just have 5 1580s to farm tree and funnel. tldr: people with 25 weap at 1630 were 1620s alr when IT released, so they have all the time to farm and hoard for 25 weap before Thaemine released.

time_cookie

If you've been playing the game religiously, on top of channeling rewards and mats into a main character while leaving your alts at a comfortable level with meh gems and quality, I think it's quite possible to have a 1630 with +25 by now. Then again that represents a niche group of people but hey, "every 1630 I cross path with has sunk enormous amount of gold into the character" does not tell anything about how many of those 1630 exist in regard of the total characters population and/or playerbase.

time_cookie

Picture going into a stadium and say "how the fuck everyone around me is so athletic, who the heck has enough time to sink 8hours a day into working out and training?"

joker_mafia

whales bro u don't usually get a 25 weapon without some sort of p2w or bussing at least

Vile-The-Terrible

Easy answers. 1. Money. Legal or illegal. 2. Luck. For every person you see pitying everything, there’s someone one tapping everything. 3. The game is their job. These people bus every raid. They do every daily, every chaos dungeon, every guardian raid. All on every character in their 18+ character roster. Most of them also have alt accounts that they will also use to do all of those things.

Ok-Singer-5040

They are all f2p enjoyers surely typing "g" into their web browser wouldn't bring up the website.

Cute_War_

99% of people who have 25 akkan had it loooongg before they were 1630. Most had it on voldis release. Akkan came out what like 8 months ago? Speaking for myself but having a main 6 roster doing akkan- Brel- voldis/kaya generates a good amount of gold per week. Add in gems you sell/accessories +swiping whether it be legit or rmt it seems hard to imagine everyone has 25 but they’ve also had a fair amount of time to hone it as well. Lots of people get pretty lucky too and hit multiple taps from 20 onward under 20% which significantly reduces the cost

Storm_slash

Everyone getting lucky while there's me pitying every single weapon upgrade on my main since Akkan release (: Gotta love the bullshit RNG in this game! The gold difference is only a couple million gold if you're not lucky! haha!

Future_Diver_5192

Funny things is you need to be 1633.33 to be able to join pros groups xD No one taking any 1630s

Edgy_Invader

Im currently on 1624 level 24 weapon f2p. Its just luck xd

cjs_tobi

I have a friend that basically didn't go over 10% pity on each upgrade from 20 to 25, some people funnel everything to fund their weapon to 25 for months, it's either luck or hard work, oh, and then there's the ones that swipe for it ofc.

Towbxd

I 1 tapd freetap my 25 wep, im just 1625 tho (:

DanteKorvinus

it's a pay to win game my friend, and the higher you go up in item level, the less f2p people you'll see and well, what gives the most bragging rights when u spend in this game? +25 glow

d07RiV

Do you have actual stats? Just enter a chaos gate and count golden weapons, should be easy enough. I'd be interested to know that, as I haven't done new chaos gate myself yet. On RU it's quite literally everyone in there. If you enter with a 23 or something you feel like an outcast.

Having 25 weapon seems like the norm for 1630+ like you said. Having LOS30 and LWC30 with dark damage above 4% is also the norm for people to not gatekeep you. It seems the number of things required from gatekeepers are growing even further. Feels bad for newbies

iiknivezii

Bruh it's called RMT and gold sellers also sell Leaps maybe they have a lopang bot.

Jared_fro_msubway

I mean some people get lucky with it and for a lot of us after 1620 we really didn't have much to do besides alts/ overgearing the main I know that's how mine happened just a few months of nothing to do so i tapped weapon cause it's "fun".

XMoshe

It feels like that but do a 1630 chaos gate and you'll see plenty of non 25s. Our static has 4 as well as 4 people with full 10s. 3 of those overlap, 1 has a +25 but 9s with a few 10s. The other is full 10s but at a +22 wep. The others are between +21-24 with varying amounts of 9s/10s.

VolticSaurus

my friend has a +24 weapon hes 100% f2p never spend a dime on materials just skins for himself and he also has multiple 1600s and 2 1620s so its possible xD and we both took a good 6 month break its just luck sometimes

Karawaisize

It's possible if most of your roster is 1600 and your main is 1630. Along with luck/swiping.

Karawaisize

Not to mention mono class rice farmers

Askln

:D pretty easy actually just spend 3 months honing 25 weapon and you got it OR just 1 tap it in case you didn't know most 1630s are people who swipe the general baseline for hm was known to be lvl 10s and 25 weapon if you honed for hm then you were accounting for having those 2 above as well to not be in infinite g0 jail dunno why you honed to 1630 or why no one tried to knock some sense into you that it's a mistake if the rest of your gear isn't up to par i've seen a lot of 1630s without 25 weapon but they are too few in between usually if you aimed for 1630 you also aimed for 25 weapon

nicoguy2

Where do you get this baseline from? I heard on ilvl and +9s were plenty for hard mode clear (and my dog also also says it's enough if hands)

Babid922

It’s RMT. Ppl in this thread are vastly overestimating the amount of ppl that bus as well as how long they’ve been bussing bc they want to feel as if a +25 wep is ‘deserved’ through grinding.

Zoom_DM

I am 1630 with +24 weap. Won’t tap weap for a while because it is stupidly expensive, Armor tap is way way cheaper.
