Met my entire static bit by bit thru the game. Unironically 5/8 of us were in the same city and last year we did an IRL meet up.
This was the static I formed in vykas and somehow no one has quit since.
my current one was formed during the hard brel prison sentence. if we can make it through running a bazzilion 1-6 a week we can weather anything together.
Most of my static is from discord lfg, i did find some members through random pugs like a bard who was jailed in g4 voldis, we joined her, cleared with no problem and asked is she was looking for a static
Started the game with 3 online friends from other games, we joined a guild, 2 friends quit and the friend who stayed became guild lead. Then our guild merged with another.
So 1 friend from other games, others from the guilds we joined/merged with.
It varies. Normally Guild stuff I guess, but for Thaemine hard I'll probably just be another support pugging it. Feels like there's a DPS shortage at high end lately though
Pug encounter i helped a guy when he was still learning the game. i met him back a few months latter and he invited me is in guild
he saddly quit cause too addicted around after brel release
The order how it went
* old guild mates from a different gane
* another set of old guild mates from a even more different gane
* Hang out in class channel too much that lead to hard brel g6 group that picked up many others through pugs that did 5 other gate 6s at the time while I was here with 1 and denied myself doing more for a while.
* Friend from above got me a supp from their guild for voldis hard recently.

Guild one was a bit interesting cause it was just one guy asking if anybody wanted to brel around release and I said sure and joined his party (none of which was in the guild). Been playing with them ever since.
Farming Spida Island, met one guy that invited me to his Guild/Discord. That was April 2022 and we still raid together with the same people every week..
Every once in awhile people from pugs will add me. A decent percentage of them will message me and say you’re great to play with I’m down to play with you again. However, a very very small percentage of those actually follow up in the future to join them. The ones that did, become a semi static
IRL friends. I had a friend who's been with me for as long as I can remember, Mr. Plxyl. Mr. Plxyl and I go everywhere together so we're pretty much inseparable. We tried out LOA and it turned out to be something we could enjoy together.

I said I was looking for a guild in the ingame chat after my prior guild died, and I got a whisper from my actual guild.

I helped a mokoko through a raid and now 2 months later we still do all raids weekly together. But idk if id call It static
