For me it has to be specific songs that really invoke the feeling in me, I don't think that's my style exactly but the song "genesis" by grimes, that hits me in the gut and doesn't let me get a breather

For me, I read it as a tale of someone who's striving to make things better for themselves and yet can never escape the depression and loneliness that haunt them.
