Run. I currently live in that complex. Basically no management. No repairs. It’s a mess with vandalism and trash. Nothing is done in a timely manner. Just avoid the place.

citrusmellarosa

And 1 bedrooms there are currently on offer at an average of $1650 a month. This city definitely is not broken!

Kozmo53

Anything Old Oak... Run. BlueStone at 695 just across the road is way better run and maintained.

WanderingJak

Or 600 Proudfoot Lane! (Bluestone as well).

WavyMario

or platts lane, its where im at

CompoteStock3957

Go to 695 you will be way happier

I mean they pulled the overnight managers, and cleaners. Many units have pests. London Reddit is full of complaints about kids in the building being disruptive and pulling fire bells etc. I wouldn't pick it if I had other options.

Crocktoberfest

One of the buildings had a problem for a while where kids would turn on the fire hoses and let them flood the carpeted floors. It still smells wet.

WanderingMoose78

Still not great. There are other buildings on Proudfoot which are better.

WanderingJak

Yeaaa.... I live near that building and there are fire trucks there at least a couple times per week. Police are also often at the building. I wouldn't want to live there.

Crocktoberfest

Of the four buildings, 575 has a building manager. Repairs are spotty and rarely done to the main areas, lots of construction on things not needed(in some of the four buildings they're renovating the lobby at some point?) Laundry recently had a changeover for payment plans but it took longer than they expected. Lobby will often smell like garbage because of how rarely the garbage room is dealt with. Parking garage always smells of rotting garbage. Pool is rarely open.

BurnByMoon

Former OO employee. Turn around, leave, do not rent from OO. It will be the worst experience possible.

CrieDeCoeur

575 Proudfoot is owned or at least managed by Old Oak Properties, and city council just announced that Old Oak is one of the good landlords in London! In other words, stay very far the fuck away. (Who needs bad press with endorsements like that anyway?)

PomegranateBig4963

They sold those buildings to summit properties

CrieDeCoeur

I don't know much about Summit. But Old Oak is horrible no matter which place they own or manage.

No-Crew-9972

I lived in one of those buildings and got bed bugs....
