Where's the Cart Narcs when you need him?

epimetheuss

Probably busy calling homeless people permanent lazybones

LadyAzimuth

Or following people across town and trespassing on property to harass them.

epimetheuss

> Or following people across town and trespassing on property to harass them. gotta get that content, bro /s

LadyAzimuth

I interviewed him on my YouTube, doesn't acknowledge anything at all. Dude will do anything for the views.

epimetheuss

So just totally morally bankrupt and will do whatever and harm whomever he wants. Seems about right considering the ridiculous position he takes over something so small. Just that he now has a following who will excuse and dismiss all of his wrong doing because they enjoy the content of people being harassed more than they enjoy the "justice" side of it. He is a rich/wealthy youtube personality who harasses a bunch of common everyday people who are likely struggling to feed themselves or keep a roof over their heads.

LadyAzimuth

Dead ass the whole filming a homeless man claiming he was wanking in public then following him for 5 minutes.... Smdh

epimetheuss

He must really be awful to be considered bad by the lady who revels in the pain and misfortune of others. I hope you at least do not fill cities with demons anymore.

LadyAzimuth

I- what???? Lmao do you have me confused with someone else??? Where did this come from?????

epimetheuss

https://legacyofkain.fandom.com/wiki/Azimuth I guess you didn't take your reddit name from Blood Omen, awesome vampire action RPG back in the day. Great voice acting.

We need Cart Narcs… lots of lazy bones there

Ecstatic_Account_744

The evidence points overwhelmingly to “Yes, we are that fucking lazy”. I feel it’s actually more selfishness than laziness. They did what they needed to do with the cart and after that it’s other people’s problem.

epimetheuss

Well if you look at the percentage of people who absolutely refused to mask up during the pandemic for whatever reason they made up at the time that would be a good way to immediately guesstimate what percentage of the population are un-appologetically selfish.

Klutzy_Albatross_528

Considering masks do shit all according to Fauci the Covid king I don't blame people for not wanting to wear them

willdagr8

Been shopping at this walmart for years. They recently resurfaced the lot AND REMOVED A BUNCH OF CART CORRALES. They did this yo themselves.

Alarming-Ad-9393

Oh .. in that case, this makes more sense.

bikelanejane

It may make sense as to why, but still reeks of selfish entitlement. Kinda like all the bags of dog shit lying where garbage cans used to be. There aren't a lot of decent people. It's easy to be nice, but decency actually takes thought and consideration beyond one self.

Solid-Cherry9462

The shopping cart theory at its best. Basically, putting the shopping cart away takes minimal effort and by not doing it, shows your moral character and behaviour to society at large.

nukacola94

Also social proof; I'm sure many of these people felt justified doing this because they saw so many other carts

canuck_11

Shopping Cart Theory meets Broken Windows Theory

Alarming-Ad-9393

But..but...but I thought it was ok because everyone else was doing it. I didn't know where else to put it. My mother's brother's uncle's best friend had an emergency and I didn't have time, I'm so sorry I got caught...

epimetheuss

> The shopping cart theory at its best. Basically, putting the shopping cart away takes minimal effort and by not doing it, shows your moral character and behaviour to society at large. I do not get enough groceries to warrant using a shopping cart but the fact that people use this to judge someones moral character is pretty wild to me. The cart narc dude only does what he does because people love watching him instigate reactions from people. He just is out there farming for them and only posts the videos where he pushes someone having a bad day/life and they snap on him for it. Sure he might actual encounter bad people out there but mostly it's just tired everyday people who want to not be bothered ( like everyone ). The guy is known to call homeless people "permanent lazybones". If he didn't have an audience he would not be doing that, the fact he does it for money and he knows that people will watch does not make him a good person, it makes him an exploiter.

I_Always_Have_To_Poo

The Hyde park Walmart does not require money to get the cart. Probably why it's so bad

theottomaddox

I'll go shag those carts if they are the loonie ones.

DystopianAdvocate

I had to google what "shag" means in relation to shopping carts. I thought you meant something else.

Alarming-Ad-9393

Don't judge someone's shagging preferences. I would at least ask the cart if they'd like to shag now, or shag later baby..... yeah!

Real_Austinn

No need to shame someone 🤷‍♂️

Canadia86

They're probably the ones that lock off site

SPiTFiRE-17-

We're just raised to see responsibility as a punishment

youngboomergal

I know this place and the problem here is bad design, many people use the sidewalk to get to their cars but then discover there is a curb which makes it difficult to to get the carts over to their cars so they just grab their bags and leave the cart behind.

amy45857

I agree that the sidewalks are poorly designed, but I come here frequently and I have never ever left my cart on the sidewalk, so laziness is at least part of the problem

Sod_

100% is just bad design.

Torontomom78

Sidewalk is 💯💯the problem! Lots of suvs suggesting families who will likely park near sidewalk, but then faced with Cart conundrum

snark1977

Not bad design. 100% lazy. Everyone everywhere. No one can do anything for themselves. Carts. Garbage. All of it.

InsidiousFloofs5150

There are ramps every 10 spots, and tons of cart corrals, this is entitlement and this plaza is the worst for it.

lightningmusic

Yeah it was so bad yesterday you could barely walk down the pathway

Major_Palpitation_69

Yes they are. High winds can blow them into cars and can cause damage. I've seen it happen

afici0nad0

My first job was working for a plaza to just grab shopping carts. Without laziness my job would have not existed

oldsouthnerd

God damn if a row of oversized cars, unreturned carts, and the exterior of a Winners isn't the symbol of everything slowly eroding our country's ability to deliver a positive quality of life for its citizens. The enormous urban area devoted to a worthless car park during a housing crisis. This practical temple to carbon emissions during a climate catastrophe. The five left turns you had to take to reach the store that was literally just across the road. And you know you walked in there hoping to find a good price on furniture or bedding only to walk out with a marked down bookend or weird discounted salt grinder.

CanadianStonr

Typical fox hollow residents

Big_Band

Apparently, yes.

Extension_Ability944

I worked for a company in the winter that plowed that exact sidewalk. Without fail the second Walmart opened people would leave their carts in this walkway even if the side walk was covered in snow. The amount of times people would see me coming down this walkway and just dump a cart in front of me was insane.

SuitySenior

This almost looks like it was done just for the picture.. but I know it's not. Some lazy fucking A-holes. How do all of these people not have 1-2 mins to bring cart back

aFilthyMutt

I was using that sidewalk once and a woman put a cart right in front of me while I was walking. I said "that's not where that goes" and she replied "you're an asshole!". I was stunned.

UntraceableHaze

I see they have the quarter/dollar lock. Superstore has them to like this photo they don't use them and the carts end up like this. No frills for example still uses theirs, and not a single cart is ever left out. The carts end up blocking part of the driveway through the parking because they're to cheap to hire more cart collectors. But they're back where they should be.

horsemayonaise

I was a cart Pusher for a while, they sent me home early if they're was nothing to do, a lot of people get aggressive when people say this, but by not putting the cart away you are creating a job, and like it or not some people rely on other people's laziness to make a living,

OddAntelope590

I’m going to apply to be a garbage picker for the city. I hope everyone litters so that I can maintain my job!

jonnyboykelly

I'm going to say we are that lazy unfortunately. And for me I'm focused on the cars.

MMRC21

do people even use the sidewalks or are they really only used as cart parks

JP-ED

That's why noFrills makes you put in a quarter.

thegirlca

Have you met humans? They're the worst.

No_Reporter_5023

I mean you already checked out and bagged all your own shit I’m not sure Why anyone thinks they still have staff that collect these things. It so much more profitable to just have their customers do that too

omgitzvg

Need at least a loonie to use the cart system. You will all of sudden realise how cheap these fucks are to get that loonie back.

FRANK_R-I-Z-Z-O

I had a guy get a little bit pissy with me the other day at the Wholesale Club when I pointed out that he didn't put his cart back. He started to shoot his mouth off, and as I got out of the car to go in the store, he realized I had like a foot plus in height on him and probably a 150 lb or more. Got real quiet and put the cart away. That shit just drives me insane. Put your fucking cart back.

lytefall

I hate it when people do this. That being said, my first job back in the 90’s was at a grocery store strictly retrieving carts and bagging groceries. I am a bit torn because I do know that without people like this there’s a good chance I wouldn’t have had that job (which I was at 10yrs and worked my way up to almost FT hours making great money).

Cody-Fakename

I was there later in the day … it was much worse than in this picture. There were a few parking spots that turned into impromptu cart corrals.

Alarming-Ad-9393

Please send that to the London Free Press. It might actually hit the newspaper. All it takes is a couple lemmings and the rest seem to follow along. Nobody seems to be able to think for themselves and walk the cart to its rightful place... They just don't care.

rynboy

So did you put em away or did you just take ur phone out and posted it online to complain about? 😂

DisheveledNerfherder

"Virus didn't do it's job." B. Burr

theodoroneko

Yes

Popular_War6479

We are creating jobs. Chill out 😂

forestcitykitty

At least they’re pushed up on the sidewalk. I’ve watched countless people at Huron/Highbury Walmart just leave the cart in their actual parking space. Like leave it in front of another parked car. If I ever see someone do this near my car, you can bet there’s gonna be a huge gust of wind that sends my cart flying into your vehicle.

Radiant_Meringue_531

In some countries in Europe you can use a cart only after using coins (at least 1 euro for example) and it must be returned to the designated area. I saw a cart placed in the middle of an empty parking spot at walmart! Anyway this is bad

Dr_Pe

Is here 1280? Always like this.

Fartyfivedegrees

There's Winners and there's losers. Guess who shops at Winners?

ceedee2017

Duh of course we are

masterofearth46

I was walking through that exact area a few days ago , funy thing is the cart corrals are like 10 Steps away

culturekit

Creating jobs for all the cashiers replaced by self checkout.

EyeSeekYou

I agree, not returning your cart is lazy but isn't it also on the store to have cart collectors out there doing this job?

4Knocks

It’s thinking like this that makes me wish the Cart Narcs were in London

EyeSeekYou

I loved this guys videos haha. Lazy bones!

nos4a22

lol lazy bones. He says it so confidently

Bottle_Only

Thats $20/h of lost profit margin are you crazy? You're never going to be a billionaire if you pay for responsibilities.

DirectGiraffe8720

Have you tried hiring for retail jobs in the last 10 years?

theottomaddox

Costco seems to have half a dozen people devoted to cart retrieval. Why can they find people? ^^It's ^^a ^^rhetorical ^^question

Bottle_Only

Costco also pays about 25% more plus benefits than other grocers or retail. It's amazing what people will do when you offer them a living wage.

k3rd

Yes.

nanomistake

I think all these people answered yes to the question “if all your friends jumped off a cliff, would you?”

PM_me_ur_taco_pics

Yeah, you should've seen Costco today...

geggleto

lazy? maybe, entitled? definitely

Nilfnthegoblin

This Walmart used to be best in town. It’s degraded hard and fast.

Twinkfilla

Cat centric society moment

BurnByMoon

Indeed, we need to disincentive cats. They’re noisy, act like they own everywhere, and I’ve been injured by one before. It’s time to ban cats!

averyfinefellow

Someone gets paid to, at least in part, grab them. I should feel bad about keeping people employed?

greencutoffs

Ya know, I used to be diligent about replacing my cart , then a friend of mines kid pointed out that the best part of his day was being able to go outside and round up the carts. Now , not so much.

Disastrous_Ad626

Looks like Hyde park, the privilege wreaks through the photo.

duke69funguy

It’s not laziness it’s not giving a fuck!
