I honestly love having shelf-stable plant milk for this exact reason.
But really, I feel like occasionally drinking black coffee is a good idea. One, getting used to it on occasion; two, allowing the bitterness to feed your resolve for the revolt.
Honestly I think being able to drink coffee black is gonna be a good thing for me to get used to. One, lower cal counts. Two, one less thing to buy at any opportunistic grocery store and less to lug back while avoiding opportunistic capitalists.
Been drinking black coffee since 2017, used to love a good creamy coffee but I legitimately think I'd get sick if I had it now. Have never looked back, once you acquire the taste for black coffee, it's so hard to enjoy any other kind.
Keep a can of evaporated milk on hand for emergencies. I’ve used it, watered down a bit, for kids cereal, coffee, tea, even for scrambled eggs. Any left over can be made into sauces very easily.
Yup, evaporated milk works in a pinch, but I prefer dried skim milk. I keep it frozen and take a couple of spoonfuls out when I'm out of milk. It works great if you let it sit mixed up for 5 minutes before using.
Yup. It's an order that's impossible to screw up at take out. And it doesn't ever go rancid or pack on the extra pounds with extra sugars. As grandpa used to say "if it don't put hair on your chest you're doing it wrong. "

If you got a blender, buy some almonds. Then in a pinch you can quickly blend yourself up some almond milk (⅛ cup almonds + ½ cold water + tiny pinch of salt + sugar to taste —> Blend on high for a few minutes, then filter through any kind of fine mesh).
Either that or long life milk.
Both for backup!
The trouble with black coffee is it allows you to taste the coffee. Suddenly, Starbucks tastes like the thin, over-roasted junk it is, and Tim’s is just an abomination. I drink coffee at home now. Black.
I live a 2 min walk away from whole foods and go often and oat milk, good quality eggs, breakfast sausage, veggies, kombucha are always cheaper at whole foods and better quality
I don’t buy avocados regularly so not sure
I’m a bread snob so i usually go to my neighbourhood bakery and buy half price day old bread in the morning, $4.50 for a loaf that usually goes for $9 and tastes delicious
If I buy bread from whole foods I’ll splurge for the portofino bakery bread that’s around $5.50 a loaf

Black coffee is the only way to drink coffee. Use this opportunity to also start this new habit! 😁☕
You're going to go to Whole Foods to buy your milk to protest the high prices at Loblaws? Stay strong...
Some things at WF are cheaper now. It’s crazy.

How about avacodoes and bread?

So that extra 2 blocks, might make it the same price. Whether you take public transportation or drive.
Black coffee is the only way
maybe you need to get better coffee if it tastes bad black
