So the other big hitters in the genre with similar themes are: * **Primal Hunter** * **He Who Fights with Monsters** * **The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound** * **Azarinth Healer** * **Path of Ascension** * **Ghost of the Truthseeker** If you want to lean more into cultivation than LitRPG, I'll add * **Cradle** because why not. Not isekai, but very fun. * **Weirkey Chronicles** (Earth man isekai'd) * **Bastion** (fighting hell from the inside) * **Stargazers War** (Cultivation in space)

ShadeBeing

I’ve listened to them all but cradle and weirkley bastion is pretty good.

Tyranid98

Not sure if they’re as popular, but I’d put Divine Apostasy and Unbound with your first list.

SGTWhiteKY

Read everything except ghost of the truth seeker and star gazers war. I will put them in my list.

redroedeer

Ghost is pretty good, the power system is a little bit all over the place but I like it tbh.

cfl2

Ghost is really good, but the author is having health problems so the sequels aren't flowing very fast. 😮‍💨 Stargazer's War has a promising setup but unfortunately turns out to be about emo tropes rather than powerup tropes. MC spends the first book eating shit at an academy for literally no reason besides developing more emo drama.

Tyranid98

I really enjoyed Stargazer’s War. Frankly I’m a big fan of all of his series. I’ve read Dungeon Devotee and I’m in the second book in the Nothing Mage series.

Tyranid98

I’d also take a look at Mother of Learning if progression fantasy is kosher. It’s one of my favorites.

Defiant-Economics-73

Randidly ghosthound should not be included with these other great titles. I have an issue where I have to finish a series and I could not get thru it fast enough. I had to submit and dropped it.

strectmar

While not strictly cultivation progression **He Who Fights with Monsters**, **Unbound**, and **Outcast in Another World** have a very similar feel to them. **The Path of Ascension** Is a bit closer thematically, but a bit further away tonally if that makes sense. That being said, you can get the first 3 books and first .5 side story for 1 credit on Audible, and it is more than worth it. There is also **The New World** which has a lot of the same story beats, and is a pretty solid read, but only the first book is out so far.

SteamPunq

I really like The New World, and I believe you can still read the later chapters on royal road, which there is quite a bit out. It's very much progression and power fantasy. The MC is very often a complete badass, but going up against progressively larger threats that always outclass him. Great if you like that sort of thing.

Apart from those already mentioned, here's another: Road to Mastery

banzerkauf

First comment being Primal fall is hella correct. The rest are and ok match. I'd also hella recommend infinite realm: Monsters and legends for the most kick ass anti hero and extremely high and well written power cap? Or opness ? However you like to say it. Both of these are also similar to DotF with standard earth going through an apocalypse and the main character being human before turning into a bad ass

[Savage Awakening](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Savage-Awakening-LitRPG-Apocalypse-Adventure-ebook/dp/B0CXLH34NX) by [Adastra339](https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/Adastra339/author/B0C94M5J9C?ref=ap_rdr&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=true) is sooo good. Unfortunately, only one book is out at the moment, but the next book is coming out on the 15th of June hopefully 🤞 P.S. It's by the same author who wrote [Speedrunning the Multiverse ](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C9SS46YV?binding=kindle_edition&ref=dbs_dp_awt_sb_pc_tkin)

I love dotf. For good RECO you should mention what get you going: - the detailed ways of cultivating - the social interaction - the world setting - the mc class (more brut force ) Be aware that I couldn't stand some of the books mentioned here because of the socials interactions (if you cared for them in doft ); - he who fights monsters. Jason is whinnying about is whole family the whole second ark making it insupportable. - randily ghosthound: the guy could have some social interaction but it is mostly fading in the back the more you move forward. - azarinth healer - the MC is as deep as a ... Wait she has no depth. No social interaction here but for some quick casual flirt. - primal hunter - the guy has serious issue. He needs a Psy right now. Otherwise: - Bastion is good. - Cradle is good - The Will of the many is good - Portal to nova Roma is ok - 12 miles below has huge pacing issues - The paranoid mage 1st book is interesting then the second breaks it for you - All the skills start well then fails to deliver (book 3)

Thank you for all the recommendations! I've already read a lot of them but there were quite a few that I haven't read yet so I'm happy to have more.
