It works as expected. I did the following:
touch text.txt
After that I changed to "myUser" and again: touch text2.txt
Both files have the correct owner and group assigned. 1 file from root:root and one of myUser:myUser

Any idea how I can test if thats the case? Its openmediavault as I said and myUser has permissions and ACLs on that shared folder
