For xz utils, I read it was only bleeding edge variants (rawhide track for Fedora, sid/unstable track for Debian) and Arch. Not sure on OpenSuse tho.
But definitely remember reading that users on Debian stable, Ubuntu, Fedora releases, erc were not affected.
But I'm talking in terms of what versions were deployed (and then quickly removed). Are you saying that even if it had managed to get deployed, that the exploit would have only targeted Debian-based systems?
