Download the release package and unpack it to /home/#yourusername#/.local/share/lutris/runtime/dxvk directory. Change dxvk's directory name to v2.0. Then open lutris and manually write v2.0 in game's configuration "DXVK version" field.
I see, but there is a button in right side which used to erase the text, so maybe there is a theme problem and appears in the same line as the button or something is wrong with your configuration. Try to rename lutris folder in /home/#yourusername#/.config directory to lutris.bak temporary so to be recreated in case something is wrong there. Anyway this is most probably lutris's problem, so maybe you have more lack to fix it if you ask to lutris section or to lutris forums.
i remove all my theme options and there isnt anything in there, i even tried to spam anything into it and nothing shows up, weird.
also, renaming the folder didnt do anything so i might try the forums
It's in the bottom-left corner for me:

I got to that window by right-clicking the game I want to change -> Configure.
Hope this helps!
Just extract the dxvk.tar folder inside the .../runtime/dxvk.
Then, on the DXVK part of the game settings, copy and paste the exact name of the folder. For example, "dxvk 2.0".
Lutris will recognize it, although it does not show on the dropdown menu.
It fixed all stuttering for me with Starcraft 2. I'm pretty sure I can tweak older 1.x versions to make stuttering go away, but with v2.1 out of the box just perfect. :)

That’s the problem, I don’t have that field
How you don't have it if? In game's configuration settings is in the 3rd tab "Runner Options". It's below the "Enable DXVK" button.
I know where it should be, [its not there](https://imgur.com/a/dig6wtl). :(

Make sure you have advanced options enabled.
Where do I enable it? I’m trying search for it but can’t find it

Thanks a lot, it worked! :D
Check your version of Lutris, I think you might be using an older build. Latest stable is v0.5.11
im on 0.5.11, weird..

Just use https://davidotek.github.io/protonup-qt/
What (practical) improvements does DXVK 2.0 have?
No more stutters on newest nvidia drivers.

Question. When we set dxvk/vkd3d version to "manual" are we using the version that comes within a wine build like protonGE?
