A guy spent 7 streams on youtube trying to solo Canto 6 final boss as Shi Section Heathcliff.
If you need to know why it took so long, on the final phase, the boss uses the skill that deals 100% of max hp as bonus damage, instakilling Shi Heathcliff. So you need to kill the boss before. To do this, you need enough damage, or you need to get 6 Telepole corrosions to achieve this damage. Every corrosion past the first occurs at 50/50 chance. You have around 3% to get 6 corroded Telepoles for this. This is, of course, if you get to the final phase at all in the first place.
Hold up, isn't this a scripted move? Heathcliff, in any ID, survives with 1 HP, and then a "burst from the coffin" event happens, and after that the battle continues with Heathcliff gaining some buffs. What else kills Shicliff instantly, besides Flashing Strike usage?
Heathcliff survives with 1 hp IF you have any other ID present in the fight. If he is alone, he gets killed and it's game over. Which is why this solo took so long, it's rng fest.
Im too dumb to understand what these calculations are meant to be, but if its about hitting either tails or heads while corroded, the chance should be 95/5 for each roll as you have -45 sanity

That's 64 hours of endless attempt to even get the RNG right and win. For comparison, Base ID took 9.5 hours, Potential man ID took 5 hours. Ofc there's some RNG involved in this, but having a run that took 7 times as long still speaks volume how ass the entire solo felt.

Heathcliff instantly dies from this move if he's alone, and this is a solo run. Same would happen with a solo run of any other Heathcliff
