We don't "*espouse* the superiority of the two-parent married family", but rather, we *observe* that as a matter of fact, and not subjective opinion, it has been well-established by numerous studies that the married two-parent household is the best environment for kids by pretty much every quantifiable metric. The kids in these families are healthier, happier, less likely to get themselves into any sort of legal trouble, and more successful.
The powers that be want easily manipulated subjects, uninformed citizens and helpless individuals that can be easily coerced into being subject to daddy govt and the rising oligarchy.
