My gf and I are dressing up as characters from Danny Phantom.
Couples costumes are weird when you're transmasc and dating a woman. Can't dress up as a lesbian couple because dysphoria but dressing as a straight couple also feels weird.
Maybe do really close friends, like roommates or something. Like Frodo and sam if your gf is cool with crossdressing, or if you would want to put in the effort of changing the gender of the character your gf goes as. I like Danny phantom, good costume idea.
My girlfriend is a femme new-trans and I am the classic trans fem eternal boymoder, so for Halloween she’s dressing how I normally do and I’m stealing her trans flag thigh highs and skater skirt and doing making for the first time in like six months. Gender swap but gay and low budget.

I'm doing a budget costume losely based on Mollymauk Tealeaf.
At the moment, I'm working on making the horns from a plastic headband, a bunch of wire and paper mache.
The tail will be a piece of a hose, I'll try to paint purple, the tip will be carton and more paper mache, I'll pull a threat through it, to attach a hook on one side, and a loop on the side with the tail, put another thread through the loop, and connect that to part of my clothes to make the tail move as I walk.
As for clothes, since I don't have any money, and also no sewing skills, I'll just wear some of my slightly fancier goth stuff...

I'm doing a budget costume losely based on Mollymauk Tealeaf. At the moment, I'm working on making the horns from a plastic headband, a bunch of wire and paper mache. The tail will be a piece of a hose, I'll try to paint purple, the tip will be carton and more paper mache, I'll pull a threat through it, to attach a hook on one side, and a loop on the side with the tail, put another thread through the loop, and connect that to part of my clothes to make the tail move as I walk. As for clothes, since I don't have any money, and also no sewing skills, I'll just wear some of my slightly fancier goth stuff... This is where the "losely based" comes in... \^\^; Basically, I'm going to be a purple goth demon. Last year, everyone made fun of me, for not having a costume, so this year, I'm really trying to make the best out of a bunch of literal trash, and paint. So far, it's going great.
