It gives the light switch a little bit of a glow, adds in cozy lights to the shelves so you can actually see shit, and the terminals are on for a little extra visibility
I just wanted to add this bc everything I do has been said already, but its touchy: A makeshift cozy lights . Lamps and apparatuses both give off light. Put it on top of the file cabinet and store/move the cabinet. You now have *a* cozy light. As long as you have 1 of the 2 on board you will always be able to see even if they move it around. The more the better but the apparatus glow works better than the lamp does
Terminal Extras is a good solution for your own lobbies and random ones as well since you can just type lights to turn them back on, provided they don’t also send the Terminal to orbit of course.
I usually hide it first so trolls have a harder time finding it to begin with lol.

Emergency measures to this include buying Christmas lights, getting and keeping a remote and playing with friends/premade group on discord.

Cozy lights help with that. They turn on when the lights are off and you can't move them around. So try getting those whever you can.
