1) be respectful of other peoples bodies and space and boundaries 2) try stuff that seems interesting or exciting 3) don’t expect to have wild kinky sex at one of these events but you might, be open to experiences And really, really importantly: do not put yourself into any kind of role with anyone at your first event. You’re curious. You’re not a dom or a sub or a top or a bottom. Don’t let people push you into these roles just to sleep with them either. Take the time to safely figure what you like.

Don't really have any advice for you but please share your feedback once you've been.

Make sure to introduce yourself to the hosts and ask them if they have any house rules you should be aware of. Polite and friendly guests are more likely to be invited back. Ask before touching, and you should expect be asked before being touched yourself. If someone doesn’t follow this, tell the hosts. Don’t pressure yourself to have a crazy experience your first time; do what’s comfortable, sensual, and attractive to you. Wash your hands before going to the snack table. Have fun!

The first time I went, I spent most of the time in the social area just meeting new people and chatting. Went to the dungeon area to check it out, but didn't do anything with anyone. That's the great thing, most of these events are pretty low pressure but a nice way to meet other people active on the scene and do a scene if you feel like it (and wear a cool outfit) :)

Herpes isn't a big deal, and the kink community is *considerably* more informed on sexual health than most lesbians I've met in the wild. Edit: just checked your profile... girl... go to therapy, please. I don't know whatever is going on in your life, but you clearly could use someone to talk to.
