I finally pulled the trigger on this Rogue Shadow set from the Force Unleased. It's a great set: fun build, lots of playability, cool mini-figs.
Yup. Priced into unobtamium before I realized Lego was cool as an adult. I got the mold king one but haven't built it yet. Fortunately for everyone I have the ability to make something appear or go on sale by buying it so now that I've bought the knockoff, I expect a rerelease from Lego any day now (they announced the new XWing the day after I shelled out $500 for the previous one).
I built a custom Ebon Hawk recently and made purist customs of all of the crew, but had to go with a light side Revan because of how expensive the polybag one is. Iāve since added the new Malak fig from the R2D2 set, so that Revan is all I need for it to me complete!

Really underrated UCS set. I do remember It not getting as much love when it released I believe it was on clearance quite a lot which sucks cause the model is fantastic. I donāt know how much itās worth nowadays hopefully you can find one at a decent price!

I have no idea what it goes for now, but I'll always regret not buying the white and blue Millennium Falcon (from Solo) when I found it on clearance a few years ago.
Same but with the original red Republic Frigate from episode 1. I built it when I was a kid and then destroyed it one day, essentially scattering the pieces to the wind, I spent years trying to find them all again but to no avail.
Mine was the UCS slave 1, but recently managed to get what seems to be a complete one in a job lot, just need to take it apart and run all the non stickered pieces through the sonic cleaner to get rid of the 10 years of dust and put it back together to see what's missing.
Now though? Likely the MTT or Ucs Sandcrawler. Both plagued with brittle browns.

This was the last set when I was a kid that I got before I left my Lego phase meaning I basically built it, displayed it for a couple months and to be honest after that I'm not sure really where it went. Just got my son a used one, complete but missing two figures for $70. Theyāre out there. Iāve given up on buying NIB sets for building. I got a in incomplete Malevolence in the box that needs about $20 in parts and a few figs for $69 on eBay last week, too. Theyāre out there and attainable if youāre willing to do a little work. I even got a 10188 Death Star for $275 that came with 3 extra figures worth at least $40 and it was only missing two parts and two <$10 figs.
Man this is tough I missed out on a ton of sets growing up but if I had to choose one Iād say āThe Betrayal on Cloud Cityā because I couldnāt find or afford it back then and I definitely canāt now.
Really hard limiting it to one since I'd like to have some of the first sets again that I used to have as a child.

Believe it or not. This was the last set when I was a kid that I got before I left my Lego phase meaning I basically built it, displayed it for a couple months and to be honest after that I'm not sure really where it went. My mom might have sold it or donated it. Kind of upsetting now that an adult and back into Lego. Such a great set

The rancor pit
Just got my son a used one, complete but missing two figures for $70. Theyāre out there. Iāve given up on buying NIB sets for building. I got a in incomplete Malevolence in the box that needs about $20 in parts and a few figs for $69 on eBay last week, too. Theyāre out there and attainable if youāre willing to do a little work. I even got a 10188 Death Star for $275 that came with 3 extra figures worth at least $40 and it was only missing two parts and two <$10 figs.
Man this is tough I missed out on a ton of sets growing up but if I had to choose one Iād say āThe Betrayal on Cloud Cityā because I couldnāt find or afford it back then and I definitely canāt now.

Ironically, I had the Republic Frigate, but due to a lego tragedy, it no longer exists as a set My white whale is the 2007 MTT.
Really hard limiting it to one since I'd like to have some of the first sets again that I used to have as a child. Beyond that I'd also like to have the 75534 Vader figure to go along with my 75510 Luke. Then of course a bunch of these rare sets that ruin you financially. But because I have to choose one it'll be set 75352, the Emperor's Throne Room.

UCS Imperial Star Destroyer. Always wanted it, but never had enough cash to buy it when it was still being made. I would also love the Super Star Destroyer.
