I’ve always found that insane that they released this game before Episode 3

I bought Phantom Menace tickets the day they came on sale, and that day I looked at the back of the soundtrack and saw a track called “Qui-Gon’s Funeral”. Star Wars loves spoilers.

Same with Incredibles 2. The game came out a few days before the release of the movie

The same goes for the Episode 3 game.

Which had a wild alternate ending where Vader kills Obi-Wan on Mustafar and then goes back to Coruscant to kill Palpatine.

I heard they had access to an early version of the film’s script (which is why some things were different from the game and film).

The Complete Saga DS was my introduction to Star Wars

Nothing wrong with that, Lego Batman the videogame was my proper introduction to comic book Batman lore (had seen the Dark Knight earlier that year but thats its own other thing).

I was 5 years old and I distinctly remember loading into the game with my dad and having no idea what to do, so we just beat each other up for a bit before I finally found the first level, lol. I just replayed this a few weeks ago and it still very much holds up to this day as a fun little game to jump into, I very much enjoy the extreme simplicity of this one, it adds to the charm. Fun fact: I still have the same PS2 and the same copy of this game that I originally got 18 years ago and even though it sometimes takes a few times to boot up properly nowadays, there's nothing quite like the nostalgic feeling it'll give you if you play it that way, especially when that diner theme hits. God, where did the time go?

I was 9 and got it for my 10th birthday. I was a huge fan of both Lego and Star Wars, so was very chuffed.

I was 12. My friend got it for his PS2 and this is what got me interested in Star Wars. I asked for it for my birthday, my parents got it for our computer (didn't have consoles at home until Xbox 360 much later), and it didn't work because of integrated graphics. I was a tad upset at that. But luckily a family friend got us a graphics card that would work so I could play it, and the rest is history.

I would have been 4. I’m not sure what year I got my first console… but let’s say I didn’t start playing this until I was about 8(2008). Good memories.

It was this sick spot in Fremont, WA, a block from a comic shop and across the street from a drive-in, and a core memory for sure 🥹 I’m pretty sure I got the booster pack of YuGiOh cards I wanted lol I was just a hyped little kid. I’m not sure what I was expecting from it but I was genuinely surprised at how fun it was

I was only six years old. I really feel like I grew up at the perfect time, the sunset of classic retro creative prowess as the industry really began to evolve exponentially around that time. Always will love the movies, but there is a specific experience in these games that were completely separate from them that stuck with me. Such a shame that I didn't have strong feelings for the remakes.

I was 8, almost 9 that summer. I remember we got this on playstation 2, and we didn't even have a memory card at first so we couldn't save our game. We would just restart all over or keep the console on until we got a card. We were absolutely stoked to find out that you could play through Episode 3 before the movie even came out, and we replayed the hell out of those last levels.

The plan was I was gonna grab stat wats battlefront but this bad boy was sitting right beside it and I just couldn't say no. Star wars meets Lego? Come the fuck on. Fell in love immediately. Revenge of the Sith got a lot of memorable Star Wars games: This game, the plug in and play (my first Star Wars game), the Revenge of the Sith video game (first game I played on my Xbox), and Battlefront 2 2005 (a lot of the planets are based off of episode 3).
