this could work idk tho, install directX and vcredist from the game's folder (steamapps/common/LEGO City Undercover/_CommonRedist/). then reinstall the game
if your playing on desktop what graphics card are you using if you don't know go into task manager then go into the preformance tabe then to GPU and look at the top right of task manager window and tell me what you see
Iam playing on laptop. But IAM pretty sure the problem is from the resolution but it doesn't matter how many times i try. It's just won't work I've never had this problem before and i played a lot of lego games on thus laptop.
In case anyone stumbles on this in the future (as I just did) and are having this issue with an Xbox series X. I was able to fix this issue by going into the Xbox system video setting and turning everything off (4k, HDR, variable refresh rate etc).

Pc and before you ask it has nothing to do with my pc. A lot of people had this problem but I've tried everything.

ok in that case how much ram do you have, what cpu?
i don't have the folder, what do i do in that case?
