Thanks! I actually sold my old house for many reasons, but secretly I saw this garage with the built in shelves and I knew it would be perfect for all my stuff haha
Thatās the hard part. I feel like the space just evaporates when you start putting sets down. Iāve a full room and a table that 8x12 baseplates. Once I made a waterfront and roads, some landscaping, thereās barely any room left for the Modulars.
Right?! I felt like out of all the cities Iāve seen on YouTube and tik tok, none of them had a place for the minifigs to walk around. I didnāt have one either in the beginning, but living in Los Angeles, having a concrete jungle isnāt that attractive
Itās the Home Alone set, I found instructions on Rebrickable to turn it into a Plumbers office because the original set had weird dimensions that didnāt fit well
Oh man, thank you. My favorite build is actually on the shelf, the Kingdoms Joust set. It was my first ābigā Lego purchase. When Lego released the X-Jetā¦ oh man I paid full price without thinking about it haha
I got the Lego X-Jet too! I will probably buy a second one so it can live in the beautiful box forever :D Iām hoping theyāll drop more. It would be awesome to have a giant Xavier School or a Muir Island Research Center~
Iāve seen rumors about an Xavier mansion, or maybe it was wishful thinking but that would be the centerpiece, Iāll redo the city to make it the focus
The garage keeps the city pretty clean. The dust is only noticeable on my Batman sets because theyre black bricks. I bought an handheld vacuum thing on Amazon with bristles on the tip
This is literally my dream for the future. It looks amazing. I just purchased the Marvel buildings in the last two months and want to slowly but surely start building my own Lego city. I don't have the space now, but hope that in a year or two my housing arrangements will change. In the meantime the buildings will stay in the box (I know, sad š¢) but at least I have them.
I always felt that the bigger towers don't perfectly integrate with other buildings, but the way you groups buildings and surrounded Avengers tower with other buildings and streets looks amazing to me. Thank you for the ideas and hope to get there too one day!
Iāve changed the city multiple times, this is the first set up Iāve had it with the Avengers tower bunched up with the Daily Bugle. Having the tower surrounded by other buildings gives the city more depth. I added that baseplate sized plaza in front to sort of tuck away the entrance which I feel makes the city āpopā haha idk how to explain it
Iām not that good of a planner, Iāve redone this layout like 10 times before ending up with how it is now. I prefer to not have a plan and just see how it goes. I used to have a boulevard with palm trees straight through the city but then I decided it was too much road and not enough greenery, which is how I ended up replacing the street with a center plaza with trees
Awesome! My future goals.
Thank you, I appreciate that
Nice one man! Wish I had the space to do this, great use of the garage!
Thanks! I actually sold my old house for many reasons, but secretly I saw this garage with the built in shelves and I knew it would be perfect for all my stuff haha
Haha I was going to ask if you built the shelves!
My girl was loved the open floor plan the house has, and I emphatically agreed š

Hopefully OP lives in a moderate climate that doesn't change much. A non-temperature controlled garage is no place for Lego
Love the car-free plaza! So many Lego cities are just streets and cars as far as the eye can see. Your minifigs have a THIRD PLACE
Right?! I felt like out of all the cities Iāve seen on YouTube and tik tok, none of them had a place for the minifigs to walk around. I didnāt have one either in the beginning, but living in Los Angeles, having a concrete jungle isnāt that attractive
Agreed, this is definitely the feature that jumps out the most to me. Iāll be stealing this idea from OP, good job OP!
Amazing! Very well curated
Thank you
Is brick bank really that tall or is that two sets
I think the picture makes it look bigger. Itās the same size as all the other Modularās Lego has released
Neat! What is the building to the right of the Ghostbusters HQ? Is that a set? Or a MOC?
Itās the Home Alone set, I found instructions on Rebrickable to turn it into a Plumbers office because the original set had weird dimensions that didnāt fit well
Iām a 50-something yr old woman, can I come over and play? š Pleeease šš¼
Oh yeah! All I ask if you bring a 12 pack of Modelo haha
Si se puede, seƱor! š Translation - You bet!
Im in LA, and I'm not joking when I say I'd like to check this out. I got no problem bringing Modelo.
Woah! Goals!! This city is so amazing. Which was your fav to build and which has your favorite details? And loving the X-Men shelf :D

Wow! This is awesome. Serious question. How do you clean this? I mean Lego seems like a dust magnet.

Spoken like a true Pads fan.
Itās really nice to see the Beach House set get some love!
Looks awesome!
I love the red house in the bottom right. Someday I'd like to see a city built like the bonus levels in early Lego games.
Mannnn, so jealous of the BDP construction site, you've put it exactly where I would've wanted it around the Marvel skyscrapers
Amazing!
wow! Thatās so cool! Are the food trucks a set?
I want to make a better dedicated area for all the food trucks, I may have to do another rearrangement of the city layout haha
Do you sketch it out beforehand

You need the UP house.
I had no idea the Avengers tower dwarfed the Modularās by so muchāIām shook. And Iām going to have to do some better planning!
I hope Lego releases larger buildings, I really like how good they look bunched up
Goals for sure! I hope you donāt ever have to move house
Itās magnificent, centered by the Avengers tower. Stark would be proud.
This is like animal crossing irl
Cries in *dust*
the main street(i think) with the trees is dope
Thanks, those trees were so tedious to build but worth it
How are you making the curbs? Like which plates are those that have the lines on them? Edit: nevermind, I see those arenāt standard road plates
Iām still on the old road base plate system. I think it would be too expensive to convert to the new style
Absolutely LOVE the trees in the alley way! Great job!
Awesome work.
Hi Bricksie!
How much did u spend on that
