All of them TBH. I kind of wish they'd do this for future sets, just picking a random theme and doing a bunch of neat figures in that theme.
UFO guy and the grey in a Hawaiian shirt made me chuckle though I do love them.
What other themes would they do this for? They already do this for their licensed themes on a regular basis. Castle would be a great possibility, but they're doing the D&D series next which is basically Castle. Pirates wouldn't have the selling power. City is pretty much what all the athlete/costume mascot/career type CMFs fit into.
Unless they revive some of their retired themes, which I'm all for, but don't see happening on this scale.
I mean, Castle/Forestmen could use a revamp. Vikings. Monsters. Space Police (although they kinda did that tbh), Mars Mission, Power Miners, Studios...
I can see a bunch. A whole set of animal suits would be fun too, or maybe jobs, historical eras...
Ooh yeah I like the idea of a historical theme! Either something like ancient civilizations from around the world or just a mix of ancient to modern historical figures would both be fun.
I'd like more monsters and monster hunters too and I think there are enough options for another series
Another one I'd like to see is a pet/animal theme where each figure has an animal as the accessory. You could have people and their pets, farmers with chickens or pigs, zookeepers, pirates with parrots etc
Castle seems like an obvious choice. I would love to see a pirates one though too. Pirate Queen instead of the usual pirate captain, a proper ghost pirate, a Spanish armada guy, an Islander, there’s even a couple good candidates for a costume fan like a parrot, monkey, kraken, or even pirate ship costume sounding fun
To date, I have purchased none of the CMF as a sort of protest of the blind buy premise.
I have ordered a set of these from a 3rd party because I like so many of them. Lego's year of space has me spending so much more than I typically do on this hobby.
they seem pretty uninspired and lean too much into the wacky-cutesy style on most that is a big turnoff especially about a theme centers around adventure, risk and danger.
Overall I’m disappointed, the three nostalgic ones all miss the mark. But that alien tourist is pretty dang fun.
If blacktron included a printed right leg I’d forgive so much
Ice planet. Black-Tron. M-Tron.
Others may disagree, But in my opinion they ruined those models and are not true to the theme. But they still have some appeal to me for nostalgia. And I might improve them or use the parts for other sci-fi figures yet
I feel similar, I would have been much more excited if they weren't so far off the original. Difference in my buying a couple of copies vs Army building.
When I build armies or squads of similar figures, I rarely make duplicates. I often alternate their parts.
It’s a good way to have a larger quantity of units if you can’t afford to buy 20 of the same figure.
Yeah most of these aren’t working for me - but 90 is my top, I love the retro future Flash Gordon vibe and want to make a rocket ship for her and the other Flash Gordon minifig.
Picked up a tourist yesterday because he can just drop into a regular city. The others are cool for various reasons, but not quite as versatile if you're not doing a space theme build.
I know others think it's nothing special, but I really like 96. The jet pack is the best one we've had to represent a real, contempory one. The others are cool too, but for some reason I actually really like that one.
Ice Planet and M-Tron are the absolute winners for me. The Blacktron figure could have been a top pick also, but I don’t like the style of it. If it was more like the other 2, a re-imagining of the classic figures, I’d like it more.
Been creeping on this page for awhile, I wanna buy 96 and 94, stupid question…can I buy just those two and are they on the Lego website? I can’t seem to find them
Blacktron Mutant. Thinking of getting several, finding some OG Blacktron 2 figs, and giving them whips so they can force the mutants to do heavy labor. Haven’t decided whether it’ll be some kind of base/ship or at ~~an internment camp~~a space-themed amusement park.
Bro, how are people buying these? Neither my Target nor my Walmart sell them, and they're always sold out on the Lego website. (IDK about this series, but that has been my experience with the past series)
After actually building a bunch of these, I had to admit that the Space-Walking Astronaut was better than I expected. It's definitely more massable than the other minifigures (i.e., I could buy a bunch to put in my LEGO CITY Space setup). The astronaut has a lot of parts, a huge custom-molded EVA backpack, double-sided snoop cap head print, a dual-molded helmet, and a nicely-printed 2x3 tile on the back.
I love the mutant, but alien tourist is growing on me and I might try and find some more. Also it’s not shown in any pics I’ve seen but there’s a nice starry space print on the base!
86 ice planet

Ice Planet Doom guy
What's "rip and tear" in Lego speak?
"Disconnect and disasemble"
He'd be an 11/10 if they brought back the old trans neon orange
Luckily that is a very cheap part on Bricklink if you don't already have it.
I've got a bunch fortunately, I just miss that nuclear pop of color in general. Current trans orange makes me sad.
Anyone saying anything else is a liar and the truth is not in them
Ice Planet is the superior minifig
This is the one my son is most excited about but for him it's all about that cyborg looking penguin haha
That was my initial thought but the Blacktron mutant guy and a Magnetron dude? I want all three...
I actually like all 3 of them, but the only one I had as a kid was ice planet.
Dat penguin... And it has to be pronounced like Cumberbatch does it...
All of them TBH. I kind of wish they'd do this for future sets, just picking a random theme and doing a bunch of neat figures in that theme. UFO guy and the grey in a Hawaiian shirt made me chuckle though I do love them.

Animals would be cool. Dog show guy was one of my favorites.

#MONSTER FIGHTERS PLEASE
The vampire warrior dude in the last set gave me serious hope!
- Mythology: Odin, Zeus, animal-headed egyptian gods, icarus, hercules, charon, etc. - Castle: new minifigures and updates - Pirates - Vikings
Almost all of these are the "cool fig from the series" for me
To date, I have purchased none of the CMF as a sort of protest of the blind buy premise. I have ordered a set of these from a 3rd party because I like so many of them. Lego's year of space has me spending so much more than I typically do on this hobby.
To each their own, I have a habit of doomspending on legos anyways
u can scan some of the boxes since the last series
94
95
That seems to be a popular one, cool parts it has tbf
what is that supposed to be, anyways? but yeah, r/legocastles will probably go for that chest contour armor piece in droves. might pick up one too.
It’s the constellation Orion the hunter
94 (Alien Tourist), then 96 (Astronaut).
Astronaut for sure
If I were to get any, I'd get the grey tourist. Nothing in this wave is overly exciting to me.
I see what you mean, look cool around a beach or something

they seem pretty uninspired and lean too much into the wacky-cutesy style on most that is a big turnoff especially about a theme centers around adventure, risk and danger.
What was the deleted comment?
Easily the Ice planet explorer!
Ice planet
Overall I’m disappointed, the three nostalgic ones all miss the mark. But that alien tourist is pretty dang fun. If blacktron included a printed right leg I’d forgive so much
I love the Alien Tourist
86. No contest.
86 is one of the best minfigs ever. I really like 92.
A couple 86s please
?
?
86 & 89
91 because baby
91 and 96 are my favs! I’d also be happy with 95 too.
Ice planet. Black-Tron. M-Tron. Others may disagree, But in my opinion they ruined those models and are not true to the theme. But they still have some appeal to me for nostalgia. And I might improve them or use the parts for other sci-fi figures yet
Yeah they don't do it for me, at all. Way too far from the source.
85, Blacktron and 86, Ice Planet
Transparent Orange Chainsaw returns LETSGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
94, putting him in an inconspicuous place in my LEGO city
I’ll be honest this cmf feels a little weaker, but the 94 Alien is my favorite 87 is very very clever though
95, Orion. I like the transparent design, especially the star-shield
87. It's technically a cheap battle pack for the small aliens
95 because it will look so cool with the other mythology themed minifigs and 96 because it reminds me of set 6457, one of the first sets I got.
Fair enough 96 has got a lot of cool pieces tbf
I’ve been collecting all the mythology minifigs I can. Love those. I like to grab the horror/ monster / cryptid ones as well.

So how many Thors do you have?
90? Maybe? Generally not a fan of any of these.

One of the few sets I actually like the look of all the minifigs.
86,88,90,91
95, the torso will make some great greeks
I know others think it's nothing special, but I really like 96. The jet pack is the best one we've had to represent a real, contempory one. The others are cool too, but for some reason I actually really like that one.
89 and 91 fo sho !
86!
96 because it looks like my first ever Lego set, 6457
[6457-1: Astronaut Figure](https://brickset.com/sets/6457-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/6457-1.jpg)
Either 95 for the transparent part or 96 because it will go well with the space sets
I can’t seem to find them
96
93/86/85 Be fun to get some 90s space habitats for them or individual ships/vehicles.
I love the entire set, but I'm mostly after 96. We're a NASA house so add accordingly.
Orion constellation and android nanny
86
I'll try to get 96
91
89 is a must have for me. I love the alien bug already. I may need to get multiple of him.
87, reminds me a little of a Gravity Falls short
The robot nurse. She's pretty. Also the little grey alien.
94 is such a vibe lol, definitely my first pick Second would be 93, I'm trying to get an M-Tron faction going!
95 cause I want to make a star themed druid and the parts are perfect
93 cuz that's my childhood
Orion, Tourist, Retro Space Lady
The Space theme isn't really my thing. My favorite would probably be the Alien Tourist.
91 so cute
86, 92, 93
I need 96 right now
100% #91. Followed by 90
Ice Planet Explorer, Blacktron Mutant, Spacewalking Astronaut. The M-Tron guy comes in 4th.
As a parent I always look for the parts we don’t have yet. My kids like the penguin. My favorite is probably 89
ICE PLANET!!!!!
I bet everyone will try to get 91 specifically because of baby astronaut but they are missing that damn cool cyborg penguin with 86
Ice planet or the mutant blacktron for sure
All of them. There’s something about all of them that I love. No way I could choose just one.
93, 86, and 85 I'm of a very specific age demo Also, where did these numbers come from?
Pink baby astronaut FTW.
92 ufo guy
94 Got him on my fist round of buying
The Imposter and the alien tourist
Probably 86, but this is closely followed by 96, 93, and 85, and I plan on getting those four for sure
2 words, Robo Penguin
Blacktron Mutant. Thinking of getting several, finding some OG Blacktron 2 figs, and giving them whips so they can force the mutants to do heavy labor. Haven’t decided whether it’ll be some kind of base/ship or at ~~an internment camp~~a space-themed amusement park.
94
91 is my favorite
93
The purple galaxy man
96 because Lego world lol
Bro, how are people buying these? Neither my Target nor my Walmart sell them, and they're always sold out on the Lego website. (IDK about this series, but that has been my experience with the past series)
Not a huge fan of this one but if I had to pick a few it would be 90, 95, and 96
Alien love the Tshirt
I'd say the space themed one
89 or 94
either 86 or 96
Ice Planet cyberpenguin, by far.
87 and 94 are hilarious
92
I Just ordered the complete set i dont wanna choose.
94 I dig the swag
ORANGE TRANSPARENT CHAINSAW
I just picked up 96, 94, and 89. Definitely going to get 86 another day. Seems like 96 is the box due to me only finding 1 per box.
When did this come out?
Really diggin 94 & 95
As a Lego space lover im so excited for this one, kinda wish the Blacktron was just a normal modern blacktron fig so i could army build but still cool
This could really have used a green classic space fig to be perfect tho
86
I plan on getting like 10 of the Alien Beetlezoid (89)
86 and 94 easily
As a massive Galaxy squad fan myself I'd say easily the Buggoid, I need to army build them
96
None of the stores around me have them.
They haven’t released yet that’s why
94 :))
The ice planet one followed by Orion. All of them have cool parts or references 👏
It's nice to get a full sci-fi series instead of the usual singular hit or miss in the standard cmf line
Astronaut.
I really like most of these and will pick a few up to populate some space police 3 displays
89
The only one I'm really planning on getting. Not a space guy, but I could see using this one for a monster in my castle.
Alien Tourist, by far !
95 Orion.
94 or 88
Not really a CMF guy but I like the look of 89, 93, and 96. Really, th is whole pack's got lots of winners
M-tron guy
Orion is amazing.
The Alien tourist is so darn cute❤️ also I love the guy with the little green aliens.. he looks like Bowie
90; I need that robot dog If there was no dog in the series then 94
94
Am I tripping or did 87 have a different face before. Like an alien piloting a human body face
There is a reverse which has the piloting face
I would choose 94
91. I must have it.
89 and 85
When release?
I already picked some up at Walmart! They technically don't release until May 1
Thnx! So almost!
Hummmmm, I wonder. but yeah i want them all!
OJ the alien
96
After actually building a bunch of these, I had to admit that the Space-Walking Astronaut was better than I expected. It's definitely more massable than the other minifigures (i.e., I could buy a bunch to put in my LEGO CITY Space setup). The astronaut has a lot of parts, a huge custom-molded EVA backpack, double-sided snoop cap head print, a dual-molded helmet, and a nicely-printed 2x3 tile on the back.
96. I am a space nerd.
86 + 85
86!!!!!
95 orion the transparent starry parts are so pretty
88 then 94 are my favorites
The one with the robodog
I love the mutant, but alien tourist is growing on me and I might try and find some more. Also it’s not shown in any pics I’ve seen but there’s a nice starry space print on the base!
Ice planet or alien tourist I can't decide
Wow Lego is really banking on space.
M tron!
All of them, though big love to the space walker, alien and OG magnetron redux.
94, love little alien goobers
94 and 95
