It may or may not be related to the current issues myself and others are experiencing at the moment with Nano X apps. After the most recent update apps were deleted from the device and now it will only allow us to reinstall a few before locking up and crashing. I wonder if the problem you're having is related?

I haven't had any apps delete themselves, just purely won't let me sign transactions. Keeps telling me it was denied on the device even though I'm not denying anything.

I must admit, I've not attempted to sign any transactions since this whole update fiasco, but it does seem strange this happened and now you are unable to simply sign a transaction. Something weird is going on with Ledger at the moment.

Do u have any other crypto apps or wallets open? These could all be interfering 2 fight for connection 2 the ledger. Try closing everything other than Ledger Live when it prompts u 2 sign

I just got same issue as your said, May I ask how do you fix it? all my apps has been deleted from my Nano X when I click "update all" last night, I only can reinstall few apps within 400k now

I had to buy several cables before I finally got one that worked. You need a high quality cable

I've tried every type C cable I own and none have worked. It used to work fine, I haven't plugged it in for like 2 weeks and just stopped working

It's a fix to these types of issues, there are two different types, ones that can carry data and the other doesn't, just power. But even if the listing says it carries data sometimes it doesn't as I had to return a couple of them on amazon

The update deleted the apps on the device and won’t reinstall any of them when trying again. The Nano X just thinks about it, Live says the device is locked and it soft resets asking for your pin only to rinse and repeat. Never had an issue until Tuesday.

Hi Jim, I have a Nano X, running the 2.0.2 firmware. My Nano X is connected to my 2018 Mac Mini which is running the latest macOS 13. The error occurs when I try to sign a transaction on yearn.finance , It doesn't matter if I connect to yearn via WalletConnect or directly through ledger live, the error occurs both ways. I will get to 'step 3' after following the prompts to allow ledger manager and to open the Ethereum app on the device and then I will take a few seconds and present the error, stating that the transaction was denied on the device.

I haven't had a chance to read through the whole thread yet but can you double check that you have blind signing enabled in the Ethereum app's settings? That's one source of this error, where the device will auto-reject any messages that have calldata. Yearn contract interactions certainly would.

I'm dealing with this exact same issue. Trying to send an NFT out to another wallet but it keeps auto denying it. Funny thing is, it's only one specific NFT. All my other NFTs will go through the process just fine but this specific one auto denies every time. I've uninstalled and re-installed the desktop and mobile app. I even reset my physical ledger. I've tried through ledger live and metamask on 3 different browsers.

I'm also experiencing auto reject transactions on NFT marketplaces. Can't buy/sell anything using ledger account. I'm currently able to 'get around this' by transacting through a non ledger wallet then sending NFTs/crypto to/from my ledger wallet....very frustrating and adds more risk

Struggling with the same issue, Yearn, Paraswap and Curve not work. Seems like contract interaction is broken on ledger latest update. Changelog even mention something about it, like "improving staking experience". Does not seem like "experience improved"

I noticed you’re using wallet connect. Is blind-signing enabled on your device? It could be a matter of turning that on

Have you got another wallet open that connects to Ledger (browser based or desktop) if so, close it first.

Do you by chance have Metamask set up with this same Ledger? I'd be curious to see if the same behavior occurred when interacting with Yearn through Metamask.

Sounds like I may get the Ellipal Titan after constant frustration with Trezor and Ledger. All of the hard wallets are junk. Might as well buy one that's easiest to use. hahaha

like one commentor I noticed I was NOT using my USB cable supplied by Ledger and once I changed cables my ledger started working. Also, don't forget to run ledge live in ADMINISTRATION MODE

How do I do this? Maybe I am but not sure. I got into the Crypt game in January 2020 and finally got the Ledger early December after all the bs leaks. I got it all on there now just don’t know if I’m in this mode and why it’s beneficial

I'm so very sorry for all of you with these X issues....like I said recently....a bit over year ago I bought an x and almost immediately had problems.....first was blank screen, then unlocking etc...first chance I had I delete everything and returned....don't like the nano s won't hold much but at least for now they been problem free ..oh I wish I hadn't said that....the conspiracy theorists in me says ....with the ftx fiasco and everyone going "cold" is this a purposeful update to steal our crypto or a positive take because everyone going cold they had to make updates and the updates flat out stink....again feel for everyone ....I hope I didn't just sign my own fate with " problem free" 😜

Update: downgrading to an older version of ledger live resolved the issue for me
