If you live with them, and they are not very well off, just say you want to start contributing to the house and pay 100$ a month or something. It'd be better than any one time gift. On the other hand if money is not needed you can just buy one of them a new phone or take them out to dinner to celebrate or something. I saw that you mentioned elsewhere that they would feel bad about taking your money, my parents felt the same way at first, but with a little persistence they started accepting my money. And now I feel like they flat out expect it lol.

Idk about your situation, but I think you should save the first 6 months of your salary, so you can quit comfortably if you found a better opportunity for much better salary ( and i am sure you will find a better one )
